Curious Case of Heather Locklear’s Paparazzi-Ready DUI Arrest

Mortals woke up Sunday morning to find out Heather Locklear was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence, after a “motorist” called 911 to alert authorities to the actress’ “erratic” driving. Cops showed up and, low and behold, so did the paparazzi.

That’s because the photogs were dialed immediately after the 911 call, by the same person: a one Jill Ishkanian, TMZ reported (though the post seems to have been removed had its URL changed).

You remember Ishkanian as the former Us Weekly staffer who left to start paparazzi agency Sunset Photo & News, only to become the center of a FBI investigation that, depending on which account you believe, alleged Ishkanian was hacking into Us’ computers or that Us was trying to sabotage its ex-staffer. Ishkanian, meanwhile, is no longer with Sunset, thanks to a bizarre scenario where her now-former business partner stands accused of fleecing the agency.

And now, here she is, at the center of Locklear’s DUI arrest. So how did the industry veteran just happen to be driving near the actress one night this week?

Because, according to one conspiracy theory, Ishkanian was purposefully following her with an agenda in mind.

You’ll recall that back when Ishkanian (pictured) was running Sunset Photo, a certain lady named Denise Richards just happened to appear in a number of the agency’s shots that were then sold to the tabloids. A on-looker might surmise that Sunset Photo and Richards has a special relationship going on, which benefited them both: Sunset got to profit from photo sales, and Richards got to dictate how she came across in the press (read: good). That was especially important, because the entertainment press was inexplicably obsessed with Richard’s then-beau, Richie Sambora, who is Locklear’s ex-husband and father to her daughter — and plenty of outlets were interested in painting Richards as the villain in the feud between she and Locklear. [Ed: This story was soooo boring, we didn't even pay attention at the time.]

I say we boycott all of X’s movies until she starts vacationing in the US and pumps her millions into the American economy! VIVA LOS ESTADOS UNIDOS!

Too funny!!! I guess I am already boycotting poor whiny. I have not seen one of her movies at the box office and barely watched on cable or Lifetime. The girl has been to the Paris Hilton school of acting, blink eyes and toss hair.

anoble, thanks for the video. It reminds me of how much I love this woman, and because of her, now Brad. I did not pay attention to him before, especially when he was with X. I just could not understand how he could love someone who seemed so shallow.

Has anyone seen that Just Don’t Vote PSA, that Maniston is in along with 100 other people — am I the ONLY one who thinks it’s stupid? Who wrote that sh*t?! Damn, it is BAD. Plus, Maniston even manages to f*k that up - you can tell she’s again stumbling over telepromptered words. She’s either got a coke, alcohol, or dumb problem - maybe all 3. I think that whole party at leo’s house was actually the shooting of that psa thing - and omg, to think she even had her bodyguard pimp THAT out, so it wound up in the rags and got her coverage. I would not be surprised if Brad was on the red carpet with Angelina. How do we know if these German articles are speculating, lying, or telling the truth. I take with a grain of salt any source that I don’t know what their reputation is.

I have no definitive opinion of Jen Garner, but you all have to remember that Terd C. declared that she and Ben Affleck were over last summer when they were clearly very together as evidenced by Jen’s baby bump full of Affleck baby. He’s pissy, period.

As for the poster who didn’t know that Terd C. was gay, his grudge against Brad for uninviting him to the hand and foot print ceremony proves that he holds grudges worse than most women, which is why he remains popular among immature vindicitive women who refuse to move on.

Brad Pitt has admitted that having 6 kids under the age of 8 takes its toll.

The actor welcomed twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline into the world in July with partner Angelina Jolie.

And he says it’s tough balancing his time between them and daughter Shiloh, 2, Maddox, 7, Pax Thien, 4, and Zahara, 3.

‘I’ve never been happier, but I’ve also never been fitter,’ he says.

‘We’ve got 6 children under the age of 8, and if you’re not fit beforehand, then you soon make sure you can keep up the pace. I’ve always wanted a big family – and I’ve got my wish.’

Brad, 44, says the only downside to having so many kids is trying to juggle his work commitments with Angelina, 33.

‘We can’t work at the same time and we must make our family priority,’ he says.

‘We need to plan our films carefully.’
