MMM I really wish Brad will win the oscar with Benjamin Button movie because He deserves and he gets old. I used to think he was hot but i must admit he gets bored and ugly. wHAT A PITTY!!

crazy in love @ 09/27/2008 at 1:29 pm
It happens to the best of us, to get old and hopefully live a long, fruitful life. God’s willing. There are more important things in life than looks such as a family, helping others and doing work that you enjoy. BP is a man in his prime and not an “IT” ZacChase boy. I am sure he is happy where his life is at this moment. Looks fade, good works live on. Peace to ya.

Plus he is mighty fine and gets better with fine wine. Go admire the ZacChace gossip boys and leave the men to women who appreciate them.

Hello to all Jolie-Pitt fans from Europe!
I am very sad to read that Paul Newman died! He was amazing actor and humanitarian! Love story from Paul and his wife Joanne reminds me of the love story between Brad and Angelina! (I agree with HELEN, previous post)
Paul and Joanne met in 1953, they were friends first, and than in 1957 they worked together in the movie “The Long Hot Summer”. They knew that they were meant to be together and his first marriage to Jackie ended and shortly after Paul’s divorce in January 1953, Joanne and Paul were married (yes in January 1953)!
They were married in Las Vegas and it was real HW marriage, two big stars, she was already Academy award winner, they both were very famous and yes - everybody thought, especially tabloids that this marriage will not last forever! Rumors about break up were all the time around them, it was something normal, every week there was a story about divorce! Paul and Joanne (I think in 1969) published an add in newspaper saying that they were not getting divorced because of all the rumors about them! They have 3 children, and he has from previous marriage 2 children ( his son died from drug overdose)!
RIP Paul Newman!

Thanks for posting. This is good news. Haiti has suffered a devastating blow during this Hurricane Season. It is good to read how organizations are pledging to help. BP and AJ have help to rebuild schools in New Orleans as well as the MIR foundation. It is good to read that they will be doing similar work in Haiti

good work damon jolie pitt @ 09/27/2008 at 8:56 am

About 20 organizations came together in pledging a combined $100 million toward improving education, health care, nutrition and business opportunities inHaiti, a Caribbean nation devastated this summer by a succession of four hurricanes. Clinton, who took a personal interest in Haiti when he and his wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), honeymooned there, likened the country to the South Asian region laid to waste by the 2004 tsunami and said he would seek additional funds in coming weeks.

“The losses were so great in Haiti, but the talent and yearning for a better future is also great,” Clinton said. “Our goal should be to build them back better than we did before the storm hit.”

ean, a Haitian native, said his foundation would provide thousands of meals for hungry families, microenterprise grants for businesses and seeds, fertilizer and training for farmers (Matt) Damon’s ONEXONE foundation said it would raise at least $3 million for local nongovernmental organizations inHaiti.

Actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie did not attend the initiative but called Clinton on Friday morning and said they would help rebuild 12 schools in Haiti, as they have been doing in New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina three years ago.

You may want to re check your dates here - how could they meet in 1953 and remain friends until they work together in 1957 - then he divorce in January 1953 and they marrin 1953

Thanks for posting that Suzy — I had forgotten hearing that Paul & Joanne put that ad in the paper because of all the rumors - and they did it in a very funny way as I remembered reading. It’s so funny Brad & Angie almost mirror what Paul Newman & Joanne Woodward had — I think that’s because, when you see people who RIGHT OFF THE BAT, KNOW that they are MEANT to be together, and do whatever it takes, take whatever hits they need to take (and BOTH Paul did, divorcing a wife with two kids in the late 50’s) and essentially say, ‘Who cares what you think?’ to the WORLD - and meet every challenge head on and every naysayer flip the bird too - and live your life and enjoy your family…you know, KNOW - that these are people who will always have their priorities straight, and who live for each other and their family, not for anything else.

Brad and Angie love story reminds me of the love story between Newman and Joanne Woodward too, because I have read that they married in Vegas in 1958 and NO ONE thought they were going to make it..soo cute, they produced three daughters and remain together until death separated them… Also because of the humanitarian efforts…

This video is to honor Paul and Joanne’s love

I agree. The video is beautiful

Sorry for mistake NOT 1953, BUT 1958. Again, I have problem with JJ today, it is very slow. Do you have the same problem?
Well greetings from Europe! I was this summer in Berlin, beautiful city, Brad and Angie will have a great time there! Berlin and the rest of Germany are beautiful!

Thanks Jared for the recent JP threads. Trying to catch up.
Love the photo of Angie in the Changeling poster. Absolutely stunning.
The trailer for TCCOBB looks amazing.
Thanks to bdj and all the JP fans who have contributed to the recent photos, articles, links, & videos.
PT - You sure were on a roll. Your zingers were hysterical.
Thanks Neleh for the shoutout. Hope all is well with you.
Vicki - Sorry to see you had the flu, but glad you’re feeling better. A good multi-vitamin and Zicam have helped me tremendously through the cold seasons.
Anoble - Big hug and wave!! Did T-boy’s team demolish yet another opponent? Isn’t it ironic that Paul passed away shortly after I sent you that email? I definitely would have reacted the same way as that woman if I crossed paths with him. Always mesmerized by his gorgeous blue eyes. Can’t believe he’s gone.

Time to do that wonderful weekend chore…clean house. Waves and best wishes to all the JP fans.

I agree! With every word that you said! Again, I am sorry for mistake in my first post, I wrote 1953 but it was 1958, and the post was already posted when I noticed mistake, so I correct that! But I am still having problems with JJ, I didn’t see my first post!

They most certainly did - 34 -12 (Homecoming dance tonight) I thought of you when I read about Newman’s death this morning. ITA I would have done the same. Don’t work too hard today.

Anyone who aspires to be vice-president is going to be under scrutiny. Palin’s record is one of secrecy, vindictive abuse of power and cronyism. That has nothing to do with her beauty or her gender. Her religious affiliations are also highly relevant to her desire to be in the White House. Hatred of gays and feminist is unacceptable. Having as your pastor a guy that states that people’s salvation is in question if they vote for John Kerry is unacceptable, whether he was joking or not. Allowing yourself to be blessed by a demagogue, who rose to fame and riches by targeting a woman he didn’t like in the community, and branding her as a witch, is revolting.

Palin’s church is a holy-roller sect. Read up on Pentecostals and you will see why people are suspicious of Palin’s morality.
