OlderBar Refaeli Presents Ironic Iconic America
Here is a sneak peek of Bar Refaeli, Leo DiCaprio’s maybe-girlfriend, co-hosting Tommy Hilfiger Presents Ironic Iconic America, a one-hour special that features a trip across the U.S.
The show will highlight American beauty, fashion, love and sex, design and food. Poet, multi-media artist and “observationalist” Rives (HBO’s Def Poetry Jam) will carry out the other hosting duties.
Inspired by the book “Iconic America: A Roller Coaster Ride Through The Eye,-Popping Panorama Of American Pop Culture”, a collaboration between Tommy Hilfiger and George Lois, the special is a voyeuristic look at today’s America in all of its distinctive and fantastical dimensions.
“We are thrilled to be working with Bravo on this fall special,” said Hilfiger. “The show is a tour of America through an ironic and iconic pop culture lens. It will explore an intriguing and whimsical side of America.”

may be it is exactly BECAUSE she polarizes that she had been chosen as a host. Knowing that many people hate her will may be give the show a boost. Because even though she is an airhead many want to see her embarres herself? Does this kind of psychology make sense?
I totally agree with the people saying she isn’t all that. Pretty? May be. Charisma? No way! Unfortunately she is lacking esprit and niveau and style. Kind of fits the Hilfiger brand, though, don’t you think?
Putting an airhead into a show to talk about popculture is risky not to say boring. Somebody with intellect and wit however might be able to make something out of this topic. The Barster? No way! Sorry girl. Go back to FHM or try Penthouse, that’s more fitting for your sl*tty style.

Shut up Naima! Bar’s new gig has nothing to do with Bar being Jewish and everything about her being Leo’s girlfriend. I can tell you for a fact that no one here dislikes Bar, except for you and some other idiot, because she’s Jewish. Many of us have Jewish friends. My best friend is Jewish and can’t stand Bar. It all has to do with Bar’s disgusting persona.
ihb; I agree with you but the producers wanted a foreigner to be one of the co-hosts. If they wanted a non-American model they should have hired Miranda Kerr. She’s nice, down to earth, and smart. Bar appears way too phony and stuck-up.
Has there been any new sightings of Leo and Bar? I’ve been away from my computer for a couple of days so I’m not up to date. I hope there isn’t and Leo is finally breaking it off for good.
No new sightings of them, Leo seems to be promoting his new movie right now. I see the point now in having a foreigner as a co-host but in that case they could have picked a much better one. Someone who doesn`t sound dumb when she talks and has something interesting about her. You know a wow factor that Bar lacks entirely.
Leo seems to be promoting his movie but I dont think that matters. When he had loads of free time we didnt see pictures of them and even now I’m sure he isnt promoting 24/7 and there is still no pictures of them except that one Villa shot. I dont think there is much to this nefarious relationship.
I agree with those who have pointed out that there are so many better choices for the host of this show if they were looking for an “international model”…. Bar was such a bad choice - she has no personality and is so fake and pretentious!

JJ; I really hope you’re right about their relationship. Leo needs to find a woman with good values. Sometimes I just don’t know about him. I’ll believe Leo broke-up with Bar for good when I see him in a serious relationship with another women. My hopes have been dashed too many times before especially the last time!
