Rachel Bilson Launches Edie Rose
Rachel Bilson promotes the launch of her new collection ‘Edie Rose’ at the Macy’s in Aventura Mall on Sunday in Aventura, Florida.
Back in March, it was announced that Rachel was designing a juniors sportswear line that included everything from jackets, dresses and jeans to knits.
“I want people to see these clothes for what they are, not just another line designed by another celebrity,” The 26-year-old Jumper star said. “I want the line to be taken seriously.”
Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans will be sold for $19.50 and $49.50 per piece at department stores including Macy’s, Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom.

@ 65 The first photos of her collection did not appear until the end of last Spring or early summer, that is just a few months ago, and I don’t recall seeing the yellow Stresis knock-off in the collection. Just that silly black denim dress.
How cheesy for her to get DKNY, and ORIGINAL design label, into marketing ready-to-wear knock offs of courtier.
Stealing someone else’s dress design has gotten her a lot of publicity. Maybe that was the plan. Apology expected tomorrow for more publicity.
If she is so proud of her clothes why wouldn’t she wear it for the launch? It would have looked better than that tacky outfit.

I would love to know what DNKY was thinking when you ask a celebrity to design a line of clothing you expect some type of intelligene here not someone who brings their wardrobe in from home and say HEY this is my clothes design me something..This was not only Bilson’s bad but DNKY’s bad as well they should drop this line completely not just because Bilson isn’t a designer but, the fact that they used her clothing closet for help to make this EDIE ROSE line..And if I was her grandmother and childhood friends Grannie I would not want my name plastered on something that was put out already by other designers.
This is not a line for the junior size woman..this is something she is trying to push to the White collar mommy and daddy who have money to afford her line..It’s a joke of a line I’m sure she has people in many places willing to buy this what I called used clothing line..but that’s on them if they want to pay that kind of money for a knock off of the original designers.
RB is going to be known as that starlet who dates her costars to get ahead in her career and who also steals designs from others.
