High School Musical Takes Over France
Zac Efron keeps his arm wrapped around costar pal Ashley Tisdale prior to a screening of the feature film High School Musical 3: Senior Year on Tuesday in Paris, France.

What you are looking at, is a stance, that was probably arranged by the photogs, and the frame taken a dozen times, so in reality, they took the photo and moved on, and Zac didn’t have his arm around Ash anymore, he has it around V.
I think you all need to just chill, and evaluate your reactions, its a lot OTT! Take a look back to page 2/3 where someone poster the gif of the Sweden Premiere, and look at how Zac looks at V and hold the small of her back, when she joins him on stage, if thats not love, then i don’t know what is. I’m sure that DIsney had something to say about any PDA’s at these events. This is all about HSM3, and not Zac and Vanessa’s relationship. They’ve had subtle alone time, like in Sweden and a bit in Paris, so we do know they’re together.

So your argument is that when they are promoting a movie, it is supposed to be Zac rapping his arm around Ashley and that will make it a good movie promotion. Have any people stopped to consider how much pressure is on Zac and Vanessa not to steal the limelight at every stop on this promotional tour. I was thinking about Corbin and Ashley yesterday and how the constant focus on “Zanessa” could be getting old. I suspect that there is a conscious effort on the part of Zac and Vanessa to play down the PDA and be ultra-professional. At least I hope so or it would be a huge disappointment to see the pressure split up our favorite couple.

If anybody has seen the video from Sweden when Zac and Vanessa are walking the carpet at one point Zac lo’s back to se where Vanessa is, when she joins him on the little stage and they both speak to the lady whose interviweing them Zac’s face beams when he see’s Vanessa walkng up to him and that smile stay’s there and he also touche’s her back.
Same as the video from Paris when they are all up on stage Zac is mainly looking at Vanessa and they are sharing a litle conversation betwen just the two of them and they look very much in love and proud to be with each other.
The thing is they started this promotion just the two of them, they travelled togeher which as far as I can recal they have never done before when it has ben work related, they stayed in the same hotel, they went to diner together, for walks together things that any couple would do if your together, and to me them traveling together knowing the fuss it would cause at the airport alone was a bigstep for them, so who care’sif they did’nt hold hands walking through the airport they were signing autgraps for one and I would imagine did’nt want to stop to long and get surrounded by the pres anymore than what they already was. They cold have held hands on the plane, had a cudlle, shared a kiss all out of the eye of the press and I say good for them if they did.
They only have a few more days on the european leg of the tourif it’s correct what’s been posted on various sites then they wil had back to the states and leave Ashley, Corbin and some other’s of the HSM cast to cary on promoting the film including the new one’s which Ithink is nice that they included the new one’s and they get to travel and get a taste of what it could be like for them.
Then for Zac and Vanesa they get some down time and also Zac get’s to spend his 21st with his family and close friends out of the spotlight which is how it should be, before he an Vanessa do the last couple of dates one of which is a week in Australia 7-13 November with Kenny which I can imagine they are really lokingforward to, one being able to spend a whole wek in one place and also becuase they both love the place, what a way to end the suropean part of the tour.
A connection you share with someone does’nt and should’nt be based on how many time’s you hold hands, how many time’s you kiss,a real and true connection with that special someone is how you deal with the good and the bad in a relactionship, how you commnicate and above all else have a good level of trust with that otherperson and they in return with you al those things are built over time and contiune to be built if that’s what both people want. I’ve been with my husband nearly 21 years and when we go out wedon’t always hold hands, I hold his arm like Vanesa has been doing with Zac and just like Zac my other half puts his hands in his pocket but to me thee is still love there when we do that as simple as that is.

Just one other thing about how Zac puts his arm around Ashley (HIS FRIEND and Co-STAR).When Zac holds Vanessa he always seems to put his hand much lower on her,almost on her butt,this is a sign of the intimacy between them,I’ve NEVER seen him hold Ashley like that.

I think everyone needs to calm down, and take a look at the pictures of Z and V together, the ones that people have posted numerous times in this post. We shouldn’t be concerned over their relationship anyway, we all know they hate it, but from those pics, you can see how close they are. Zac is a gentleman, and he probably put his arm around Ash to make her feel included, not on the edge of the group, he was being her friend, which is what he is. Its one photo in a split second time frame, before they moved onto another pose.
Zac and V seem very sure and trusting in their relationship, so if they are not worried, and are smiling, you have no reason, and really no right, to start bashing them for something that doesnt and shouldnt concern you.
I think we should all just back of and let them be, and start concentrating on their work as actors, as they would want us too. They are only going to hide their realtionship more if they know that how obsessed some of you are with it, its not healthy, and its wrong, and I don’t think they want their fans to be so fixated on it.
On a lighter note, HSM3 is going to rock!! Hope they are getting to enjoy Paris, it is a truly beautiful city.

I think people get way too wrapped up in this couple’s relationship. Remember they are paid to promote HSM3 not “Zanessa” although yes we know Zac and Vanessa are a couple and extremely easy on the eyes. I’m actually impressed with their professionalism…they understand the movie is an ensemble project. Would it really be prudent for them to be all over each other at the expense of Corbin and Ashley? Can I say how beautiful Vanessa is. I think she represented Disney well…poised, classy just gorgeous. Wow, she’s really become a true movie star.

I saw the pictures, but still think there’s trouble in paradise.
[1] No hand holdage in candids in a very long time…..I get why there wouldn’t be during the photo calls, but what gives on the candids….this dates back quite a while.
[2] Vanashbrenique reported that today’s press call in Paris had to be canceled because the cast showed up too late and needed to redo makeup….hoping someone did not cry off her mascara seriously!! Plus everyone seemed rather glum in today’s Berekely pics.
[3] V’s kuiipo ring has been AWOL since early Sweden.
Now granted there have been a few sparks here and there….but in general, they don’t seem as happy as usual………

The private dinner of Z&V was reported in a French newspaper. They even have a video of it but it is restricted and can’t be shown in the US. I can’t check back with VABN now because the site crashed! z&V love overload!
Vanessa doesn’t always wear her ring with her more formal or evening wear, when it doesn’t match what she’s wearing. Last night, she was wearing white and black, and had 2 sparkly costume rings on to go with her dress. Also you can’t always see her hands in pictures. Don’t jump to conclusions.
Also, we have not really seen many candids of them alone, except walking in Paris, and she had her arm through his in those, looking like she was trying to stay warm. It looked cold, and was definitely a “hands in the pockets’ day for Zac. I wouldn’t think anything of that.
The photocall being cancelled could have been for a variety of reasons, including the fact that they were probably out late and exhausted. No reason to think it was because someone was crying. And if you think that, Ashley looks more disheveled and glum.
Again, we have to understand a pic doesn’t ever tell the whole story!

The ring thing wasn’t too worrisome as it seems to come and go like the wind. I can’t help but wonder if they don’t just take the ring(s) on and off to see what gets stirred up on these boards….kind of like when Pete Wentz was carrying around a doll before Ashley had her baby….clearly he was just playing with the paps…snaps to Pete for messing the pesky paps. Most likely their rings get far more consideration by the fans than themselves.
Nonetheless, I am curious as to how much positioning etc. (or not) goes into what they do or don’t do on the red carpet and at other “official” appearances and what just happens by circumstance. It seems like the pda got toned way down after the sweet hug on the red carpet at the TCAs. They both are so down to earth and geniune, but you just never know what their PR agents are whispering in their ears.
And you’re right…the whole crew looks a bit bummed in today’s pics …hopefully Disney didn’t reprimand them if the canceled event was indeed their fault……..

okay, first of all, i used to be and i still kind of am a HUGE zanessa fan. id grab magazines and search for pics of them and i almost cried happy tears when i saw photos of them in hawaii and turcs and caicos…
and i truly love zac and vanessa, and i understand that ashley and him are “just friends” but zac’s been acting very weird lately: he didnt hold vanessa;s hand at the airport, he didnt go to the teen vogue party with her, didnt sit with her at the VMAS, they link arms not, but dont hold hands ? they look kind of… apart.
and i do want them to keep on going in their relationship. and i hope zac does pay more attention to sweet vanessa. but if things dont work out between them, i think Ryan would be a good boyfriend

I don’t see the need people have that Zac and Vanessa MUST hold hand to prove they are together. They have done nothing apart. At the VMA’s they WERE together. Vanessa didn’t get there until late because she had a concert that day and when she got there she was held up by security. Zac was seated by himself because that’s where his seat was and because she had not yet arrived—and did not arrive until WAY late. They left together, however.
At the TeenVogue party they once again were TOGETHER? Where do you people get your information? There are picture of them together and most importantly there is a picture of them leaving together and there was a little news article and picture of them talking about how happy they are and how much in love they are, etc. Plus, those pictures and that article has been posted here on JJ. You you are saying these ridiculous things really need to at least check out the links posters put in their comments and you might learn a lot.
And Tsquared and all, the same goes about the pictures to this premiere. JJ—for some reason—has not posted even a fraction of the pictures and certainly not the best ones. There are several pictures of Zac and Vanessa looking very lovingly and intimately into each other’s eyes—all the things people seem to say is missing but the ones who need to see these pictures once again are not accessing all these sites. And it is not hard as many posters have put those links right here in this thread. The only problem with Vanessa and Zac is what certain fans are making it to be.

Guys, let’s not argue about the pics. The cast are promoting and everybody looks so happy to be together again and this is possibly gonna be the last time we are going to see the gang of HSM altogether, if there is a 4th installment, for sure some major cast will not reprise role.
