OlderBritney Spears Boogies In The Bronx
Britney Spears signs autographs for and poses with children at junior high school John Philip Sousa M. S. 142 in the Bronx neighborhood of New York City on Wednesday morning.
The 26-year-old pop princess, who was accompanied by a film crew, older brother Bryan and manager Larry Rudolph, took the time to pose with a few NYPD cops. According to People, she also presented a $10,000 check from Elizabeth Arden to be used as an endowment for the school’s year-old music program.
“I really enjoyed the time I spent at the John Philip Souza Middle School,” Brit said. “I’ve been working with the people at Elizabeth Arden for the last five years (for my fragrances, Believe, Fantasy and Curious), and I know how passionate everyone is about the school. I loved hearing the school orchestra and the children sang so beautifully. The fact that Elizabeth Arden made such a large donation for the school music studio in my name was so generous.”

#31, yes. britney will be perfoming on London’s X-Factor in December. The show is like american idol and it will be britney week (where they have 2 sing brit brit songs) and she’ll judge and then sing womanizer (simon cowell confirmed it). she looks beautiful here!! Its great she took sometime to be with her young fans. I myself am younger (I was a little kid in the 90’s and didnt get to listen to her much) and now Im a HUGE fan!! I think its amazing to see how far she has come and the sex-tape rumors are FALSE. Adnan admitted they are false!! Im so glad that britney wont have to deal with that!! :)

Sorry people, whatever she looks to you – but every time i see her – i see the emptiness and hollowness in her eyes. She looks like old Britney but she has dead eyes. There’s nothing inside. I’ve noticed it for some time now and i see it in every her photo. Look at that close up foto. She used to have that sparkle in her eyes. And now she is just… i don’t know – dead inside. She is still mentally sick and i don’t think that she will be normal ever again. Let’s hope that Daddy Spears will hold her for as mush as he can. Because i’m afraid that if judge will let Britney go she will return to where she was. In a matter of days.

shy, you are wrong. Thats one of the side affects of her medication is looking spaced out . . . but I dont see it in this picture. And I havent seen it since the VMA’s. Britney knows better now. Even Jamie Spears said britney would never go back to doing what she was doing. she has a sparkle in her eyes. I don’t try to find negative. I remember how she looked. I used to like her. It’s just the way i feel every time i see her picture. It’s always kills me – that emptiness in her eyes. And it’s in every foto. Every. She doesn’t look alive. Like walking robot on those paparazzi foto. But at least she started to smile for the last couple of days. Good for her. Maybe it’s medication. I don’t know.

To the average unsuspecting reader this is definitely a “feel good” story, but anyone with with ties to this school knows the real deal. This story reeks a horrible repugnant stench and I’ll tell you why…
For starters, this event was held on a non-school day. Wednesday October 1, 2008 was the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah and school was not in session. Not that big of a deal, but here is the kicker… This school is the Edenwald section of the Bronx and and has no White students. The students that you see pictured are the family and friends of the police officers that were hired for the security detail. In fact, this event was clandestinely planned and only a select number of people were included on the event. The main ones who were excluded were the actual students of the school. Moreover, the consensus of the faculty after the fact was that Britney Spears was not an appropriate role model for the students to emulate.
This entire event was a complete sham staged to add credibility and improve to the battered reputation of Britney Spears. The Principal should ashamed for allowing this to happen at the expense of her students, and the NYC Chancellor Joel I. Klein needs to be notified.
