Dita Von Teese Celebrates Jean Paul Gaultier
Dita Von Teese sits front and center at the Jean Paul Gaultier PFW Spring/Summer 2008 show on Tuesday in Paris, France. (Of course, she’s wearing his collection.)
“Movement is crucial. For me clothes on a hanger are just a still life,” Gaultier said after presenting his collection, which opened and closed with a performance by three dancers. “Dancers have a very interesting relationship with clothes…they have a way of appropriating them and giving them a different dimension.”

EIWWW! Why do you keep posting pics of this ugly drag queen, J? Women don’t aspire tobe like her or dress like her, and they certainly doon’t look to her for beauty ideas. Men don’t fantasize about her, so why???? Really, she is a nobody and she makes me want to puke.

she seems quite fabulous, doesn’t she? one wonders how much time she takes to turn herself out like this. one wonders if she has anyone at home to love her. she seems to be needing to be loved so much. she seems to be of another time. i am quite curious to know what she is thinking.
oh my gosh……..she looks so freaky to me. Peel off all those layers of pancake makeup, remove the false eyelashes, thick eyeliner, eye shadow and blood red lips……and I bet know one would reconize her !
I would like to see her without make up on and she might be pretty without all that funeral looking makeup. yikes!

In this case, i think it’s the flash and not just her makeup. I’ve seen her in person, with makeup, and she isn’t this white.

I like Dita! She always carry herself with such poise and always dressed to kill. The problem that some have with her is that she don’t come out with all of her goodies hanging out and calling it fashion forward. Grant it she is a burlesque dancer but she does not take her work clothing to the streets.
I don’t support celebrity branded crap but if Dita started a clothing line based on her style of dresses/suits I would break my rules and be first in line. I love, love, love her fashion style.

Makeup does not make a woman beautiful. Dita looks pretty with or without makeup. She is a natural beauty who probably doesn’t need half the makeup she wears.

64- It’s Paris fashion week. Dita is popular and friendly with major designers. You are going to probably see her all week. Get used to it.
Dita is a model, actress, dancer and writer. There really isn’t any reason for people to come on here asking why she’s famous. You can easily google her and she even has a Wikipedia page.

i love her outfit and shoes. so glam and elegant. she wears a lot of make up because she is copying old hollywood glamour, she never denies she takes a lot of effort in dressing up. but she pulls it off well. she is our own modern elizabeth taylor.
