Diddy: Sarah Palin Scares Me
Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin scares Diddy into hiding under his bed sheets. In his latest over-the-top video blog, Diddy reacts to the video clip of Katie Couric asking Palin which newspapers and magazines she reads regularly to stay informed.
Diddy responds to the clip while chattering: “Sarah Palin, you scare me. You could be the President of the United States. [Her running mate] John McCain is 72. Boys and girls, vote. I beg you. I’m not coming out the covers. It’s safer underneath the covers!” Watch the video below!

He didn’t even give a reason of why he’s scared of her being president. All he says is did you hear what she said did you see? Well did I see what? I can’t specifically list each magazine and paper I read. If I see something interesting on the cover I pick it up and don’t pay attention to who published it. But I don’t know why anyone would rely on the media to find out what’s going on all the time because most of the time the media is a scam. Half is untrue and the other half is usually biased around someone’s personal opinion. If you ask me we’re screwed with either candidate. The chances of either presidential candidate surviving their term is unlikely. One because of his age and the other because we live in a country that is extremely racist. If I had to pick one of the running mates to lead this country it would definitely not be Biden. He’s worse than your typical republican. No matter who gets in office, it’s not going to make a difference. The big issues are not controlled by the president anyhow. He can’t bring the troops home, he can not make the deciding factors over insurance or even the economy. Bush had no control weather or not the 700 billion dollar bail out happened not, not matter how hard he pushed for it. The only control the president has is over small issues. I think the celebrities appear to be educated because they are campaigning for a candidate. They don’t realize that he doesn’t have control over half the stuff he says he will do. In a perfect world he could do them all.

HELLO, And do you want to tell us how you know this? Obama has refused to make public his school records at Columbia and at Harvard Law. The only grades we are aware of show he was a B minus student.
Now perhaps he bucked down and started producing good work but we DON’T KNOW THAT.
We DO know that Obama used his political connections from his Chicago days to get Percy Sutton (a rather famous NYC politician) to recommend him and push Professor Charles Ogletree at Harvard Law for Obama’s entry into Harvard. Any student who Ogletree wants in Harvard Law almost certainly gets in. You can also be assured that Prof. Ogletree ( a decent and smart man to be sure ) would love Obama to appoint him to the Supreme Court if he wins.

Listen to the debates, listen to the interviews that obama has done. No one has treated obama with kids gloves. No one has said “Aw, don’t be mean to him, don’t give him the hard questions, you are being racist.”
Obama has had to stand up like any person running for office.

Let me ask you this question when you think that Sarah and Todd are just like you.
Would you, as one of the parents of a NEWBORN special needs baby and one troubled teenage girl about to become a mother, accept a very very DEMANDING job or encourage your partner to take on a VERY VERY demanding job? Even if you have grandparents support??
What would it say about Palin and hubby when they both want to go for the job. Ambition is a fine thing, but at what price do their children have to pay? What sort of human values do you have when you let your children pay the price of your own ambition?

(1) It is a matter of opiniion that you believe that the media treated obama with kid gloves. But certainly no one stood up and said, “aw, leave him a lone you big meanie, you are being sexist.” the way they did with palin.
(2) I said PARENTS - both TODD and SARAH. I said they have just given birth to a special needs child - who is now all of 5 or 6 months old who need special care and attention and bonding time. I’m talking about placing your eldest daughter’s plight in the middle of the limelight for all to comment on and see instead of protecting her, just as she is pregant. I’m talking about waiting a few years till Trig is just a little older and more settled.
I did not criticise obama for running for president when he has older children. I have NEVER criticised Hilary for working in the law firm and encouraging her husband to run for Presidency, when Chelsea was older.
I myself work part time and have 6 year old child.
But would I have accepted a position or encouraged my husband to accept a position which requires travel at least 2 to 3 times a month, and 10 hours days in the office 6 days a week, when I have 4 children, including 1 special needs baby not even 6 months old, and one teenage daughter who is clearly in need of greater guidance from me as her PARENT (and note, I’m not saying MOTHER)??
The answer is NO.
Hell, I wouldn’t even have accepted a position which requires all that EXTRA travel or encouraged my husband to take up such a position when I have a NORMAL NEWBORN Baby. The family needs time to adjust to a new baby. The older children - even 7 or 8 year olds need reassurance and love when a new baby is introduced into the family dynamics.
Almost every Mom and Dad of a couple of kids know what I’m talking about. But add to this mix a SPECIAL NEEDS BABY (downs syndrome babies often have other medical problems) and a pregnant 16 or 17 year old girl and taking both of them into the PUBLIC light??

Well Halli that is your opinion about Biden’s honesty. You must of missed the huge lies he told about McCain voting for a tax hike for people making under 46,000 when it was he an Obama who voted to raise taxes for poor people. All I know is if that man is elected and my taxes go up - I am going to have a fit because all I hear is that 95% of the people are going to have their taxes reduced. With all the programs he is proposing there is no way in hell my taxes are going down. This economy can not afford to be taxed any more. Everyone will be poor if he gets his way.

#40, I’m pretty sure you are not the prime minister of Canada nor any sort of government representative so speak for yourself only. I am Canadian, and if I could vote, I would definitely be voting for McCain/Palin.

There is alot of information out there, don’t just eat up what the media spews at you, and keep in mind that most of the media, including this blog, is left-wing and liberal. I will also point out, as many have, that this is a Presidential Election. The experience that the presidential candidates have matters far more than the experience of the VP candidates.
And as for celebrities, they should really stay out of it. Fame or money does not give someone the right to impose their political opinions on someone, nor does it make them any more valuable than the average joe. It would be fine to endorse voting and political education, but I don’t think I’ve seen that from one celebrity. Stick to acting or singing or whatever you are actually paid for.

Watching Sarah Palin was like watching an infomercial at 3am. She is one scary person.
Sarah only “won” in that she exceeded expectations.
Everyone thought she would fall flat on her face, she didn’t (in part due to the non-confrontational structuring of the debate, no follow-ups or elaborating on an answer).
But when you expect her to score a 1 and you get a 3 - she just technically tripled your expectations!!! But with Biden, you expect a 7 and you got a 9. He’s a closer, he was straight, factual and informative. Which is what won over the undecided voters for this debate.
oh man, palin made a fool out of herself yet again tonight. she kept avoiding questions after questions and keeps going in circle by going back to previous matters. at least she didn’t get stuck, but she was never specific about anything and really didn’t do that good of a job defending mccain either.

The true and only true is the Sarah Palin knows nothing about nothing, all she did tonight was repeat what they told her to say since we all know the questions, was easy for her and still she did hurt MacCain even more, did better for herself only. Biden was natural and he new what he was talking about , he focused on MacCain only and did a great job!

1. TAX VOTE: Biden said McCain voted “the exact same way” as Obama to increase taxes on Americans earning just $42,000, but McCain DID NOT VOTE THAT WAY.
2. AHMEDINIJAD MEETING: Joe Biden lied when he said that Barack Obama never said that he would sit down unconditionally with Mahmoud Ahmedinijad of Iran. Barack Obama did say that specifically, and Joe Biden attacked him for it.
3. OFFSHORE OIL DRILLING: Biden said, “Drill we must.” But Biden has opposed offshore drilling and even compared offshore drilling to “raping” the Outer Continental Shelf.”
4. TROOP FUNDING: Joe Biden lied when he said John McCain and Barack Obama voted the same way against funding the troops in the field. John McCain opposed a bill that included a risky timeline, that the President of the United States had already said he would veto regardless of it’s passage.
5. OPPOSING CLEAN COAL: Biden says he’s always been for clean coal, but he just recorded telling a voter that he is against clean coal and any new coal plants in America plus he has a record of voting against clean coal and coal in the U.S. Senate.
6. ALERNATIVE ENERGY VOTES: According to FactCheck.org, Biden is exaggerating and overstating John McCain’s record voting for alternative energy when he says he voted against it 23 times.
7. HEALTH INSURANCE: Biden falsely said McCain will raise taxes on people’s health insurance coverage — they get a tax credit to offset any tax hike. This attack is false
8. OIL TAXES: Biden falsely said Palin supported a windfall profits tax in Alaska — she reformed the state tax and revenue system, it’s not a windfall profits tax.
9. AFGHANISTAN / GEN. MCKIERNAN COMMENTS: Biden said that top military commander in Iraq said the principles of the surge could not be applied to Afghanistan, but the commander of NATO’s International Security Assistance Force Gen. David D. McKiernan said that there were principles of the surge strategy, including working with tribes, that could be applied in Afghanistan.
10. REGULATION: Biden falsely said McCain weakened regulation — McCain actually called for more regulation on Fannie and Freddie.
11. IRAQ: Biden lied when he said that John McCain was “dead wrong on Iraq”, because Joe Biden shared the same vote to authorize the war and differed on the surge strategy where John McCain has been proven right.
12. TAX INCREASES: Biden said Americans earning less than $250,000 wouldn’t see higher taxes, but the Obama-Biden tax plan would raise taxes on individuals making $200,000 or more. This figure will included a large number of self-employed persons and small businesses whose gross income is counted as personal income. The total tax rate on these people is well over 50%.
13. BAILOUT: Biden said the economic rescue legislation matches the four principles that Obama laid out, but in reality it doesn’t meet two of the four principles that Obama outlined on Sept. 19, which were that it include an emergency economic stimulus package, and that it be part of “part of a globally coordinated effort with our partners in the G-20.”
14. REAGAN TAX RATES: Biden is wrong in saying that under Obama, Americans won’t pay any more in taxes then they did under Reagan.
