I think Zac and Vanessa are looking great as usual. I love the colour of V’s dress, it contrast so well with her skin tone. Her whole look is just casual chic, simple and stunning with the whole spanish vibe still going on. She’s been taking her style on this tour to a whole new level and I’m loving it.

For all you people who think there is a problem with Zac and/or Vanessa:

Here’s what I think is THE PROBLEM: It is the “fans” who have posted hateful things about Zac or Ashley or both calling them every name they could and then throwing Nikki Blonsky’s name into the mix. The French press did some “research” and found all kinds of new ways to try to get a rise out of Zac and/or Vanessa or even Kenny. So they ruined what should have been a delightful trip to Paris.

IF anyone thinks that young man slept with Nikki Blonsky and tries to push that idea they are a twit and if you believe the twit telling it then you are worse. AND as far as Zac sleeping with Ashley that is just as insane. Zac and Ashley have known each other and have been FRIENDS long before he met Vanessa—NOT boyfriend and girlfriend, just friends. IF Zac would have been interested in Ashley in that way he had plenty of time to move on that feeling before Vanessa took his breath away. And IF there had been anything romantic between them—-which BOTH Zac and Ashley DENY—do you think that Ashley and Vanessa would be best buds now? And if they could overlook the fact there had been something going on between Ashley and Zac—IF that was fact—then than means the relationship was over and we should not go on about it—it would be in the past.

But what I am trying to point out is MAYBE Zac—-nor anyone of them including Kenny—is feeling really JOYOUS because of posts like has been on JJ over the silly fact Zac happend to have his arm around Ashley and not Vanessa in ONE picture. So then some idiot press people start saying rude things that are not true about Zac only to get some kind of scandalous reaction. So, just to get a “scoop” this guy or people destroyed what should have been a fun trip for all concerned.

You did notice that during the Paris trip—after the premiere pictures came out that everyone had to have a coronary over which weren’t even ALL the pictures of Zac and Vanessa the trip went sour. They looked beat and upset and it was due to the stupidity of posters who felt compelled to pass judgment on an innocent act because it did not meet YOUR FANTASY. Also, did you notice that is when nobody saw Corbin or much of Ashley? I think they were upset due to all the negativity that ensued. Can you imagine how Ashley felt? What an insult for her and for Zac neither who had done one thing wrong. And even Vanessa, can you imagine how she feels that her friend and her lover both had to take such needless abuse? And Corbin most likely just decided he didn’t want any part of it at all So, as I said, what was meant to be a beautiful time was stolen away by nonsense. And if some of you would have waited to jump on the hate and insult merry-go-round it may have not happened because the Paris press would not have been able to find these kinds of insults and innuendos to hurl at Zac, Vanessa, or Kenny.

Most likely Disney decided they wanted no part of this kind of thing associated with their movie and pulled the photoshoot. Then the kids got more bad press because of that. And really it is like Zac if you think about it has had to saddle all those bad vibes for absolutely NO reason. Then probably an “executive” order went out that said Zac had to be with Vanessa in all premiere pictures so as not to raise the wrath of fans all over. SO, if any of these kids or Kenny —especially Zac—look less than gleeful don’t wonder why and maybe some of you should hang your heads in shame.

Just know everyone was fine until AFTER the premiere in Paris and then it was EVERYONE who was looking like they just wanted to get the heck out of Dodge! Zac and Vanessa were fine in the cafe and the airport airport pictures. SO, I seriously doubt the problem is between them. I just think they are all aggravated at how their trip to Paris had to be ruined by people’s childishness. Hopefully they can recoup very quickly.

Good observation Karen. Yup. No more Ashley standing next to Zac. That’s what the mighty press can do. It can even break up those Zac and Vanessa.

They really have good chemistry but they are young and have so much ahead of them. Reality is, they can break up anytime and not end up with each other. So even if I want to see them together for the rest of their lives I’lll just be happy with each day (or each picture taken) that they are together.

Vanessa’s dress has to be one of my favorites from all that she has worn. It is so beautiful and she looks gorgeous, a little younger too.

I see there are a lot of body language “experts” on this site. My dears, I have studied body language in college psychology classes and read several books on the matter. And I see absolutely nothing to worry about in Zac and Vanessa pictures. Here are a few body language tips for you:
1. Guy placing his hand on his woman’s butt (as Zac is doing in most of these pictures), is a clear declaration that she belongs to him. And I have NEVER seen a picture of him doing that with anyone other than Vanessa. NEVER.
2. Bodies turned toward each other when they are together, an intimate pose indicating they are both into each other.
3. There are lots more subtle ones, but the clearest indication that they are both into each other is when they look into your eyes like this:

So you body language “experts” should look at more than just Zac’s face and declare his expression means he’s not into Vanessa. Knowing a great deal about body language, I cannot read anything in his expression other than yesterday, his eyes look tired.

Also realize that Disney does not want this pair to be promoting their relationship on a tour that is clearly slated to promote HSM3. In a Norwegian article about interviews with Zac and Vanessa, as soon as they asked Zac about Vanessa and he started answering a representative from Disney came over and told Zac he couldn’t talk about that to the press. Same with Vanessa.

If you’re a fan of Zac and Vanessa, enjoy all the premier pics and go to the various fan site to watch interviews and appearances to hear what they have to say about themselves and the movie instead of speculating and declaring yourself an expert in a field you clearly know nothing about.

If you’re a hater, go to a thread of some celebrity that you adore and post loving comments there. You’ll feel much better about yourselves.

It has been reported that some of the French paps were bombarding Zac, Vanessa, and Kenny with questions about his and Vanessa’s relationship being a sham or them saying things about his relationship with Ashley, etc. If that was happening no wonder they don’t look happy. Plus, it is now reported that Disney has been pausing interviews to tell Zac and Vanessa they are not allowed to answer certain questions—censoring some of their answers in other words. It must be very frustrating to these young people who are trying to do a job and have fun. It seems someone is constantly telling them what to do in this promo tour. How tiring.

Also, I strongly suggest everyone go and view the short interviews that suzy posted in post #119. They are great and in Zac’s it pretty much proves there are some things he isn’t not allowed to say and he even says something along those lines. I think it is sweet in Vanessa’s interview when she is asked what will be going on in 10 years for Gabriella and she says she hopes she would still would be with TROY—that says a lot right there.

I totally agree with you. First, Disney doesn’t want it to seem that their two stars are going to live together. But these two primarily have been doing just that for a while now. Plus, in the last J-14 magazine—one geared to the 10-14 year olds out there, it even states that they are soon going to be moving in with each other. Now, that news isn’t written in stone but for a magazine like that to say it, there must be a reason for it.

What Disney will have to face after all this promoting is done and the movie has opened everywhere is that Zac is soon to be 21 years old—less than 2 weeks from now—and Vanessa within a little over two months will be 20. They are no longer young teens being raised by parents OR Disney.

Hehe, I am having so much fun seeing these foriegn places via the HSM cast. I can just imagine them sneaking off on their own adventures when the cameras are not watching. Especialy Zac and Vanessa.

Their relationship is inspiring in so many ways. And the fact that they are able to maintain it the way they see fit is the best part of all.

They keep the central nervous system of their relationship heavily guarded against outside interference. Their true feelings for each other never exposed the harsh elements of critical spectators, only reserved for one other as they deserve to be.

The only form of entertainment we are entitled to from Zac and Vanssa is the kind we see on the big screen. No amount of money or fan loyalty entitles us to use their private lives for our own amusement.

Focus on supporting Zac and Vanessa in their careers and let them worry about their life together. And after 3 years, I am sure they don’t worry at all.

I have to agree that DIsney leans on them majorly! But they do have to understand, when they are asked the questions, they aren’t the kind of people to be rude. They have BOTH been very sweet in all their interviews, and have impressed me with their maturity and poise. Maybe DISNEY ought to make it clear BEFORE the interview starts, what is allowed to be discussed. And NOT put Zac and Vanessa in the situation.

I have to say, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Vanessa’s dress, and again, her hair!!! This trip is like watching a sweet little catterpillar bloom into a stunning butterfly…….she REALLY looks gorgeous.

Sorry to burst your bubble, I was first a fan of Zac from HS before HSM and watched the HS promo with his co-star. Body language is VERY different. I never for once thought that he and his HS co-star were anything more than casual friends.

I don’t need any of their history to know that he and Vanessa are a long time couple. The signs are subtle but glaring to those who have had lovers and been in serious relationships.

My observation: Having been happily married to my high school sweetheart for longer than I can remember till he passed away recently, I see a young couple, not perfect at all, but wise beyond their years, devoted to each other and discrete.

They have the right kind of values and have the makings of a great lifetime relationship but NOBODY knows what the future holds for them not even them.

Yes, a lot of relationships in their industry does not last but a few have lasted. It just makes me sad to see the glee and delight people take in hoping that they break up. Are there not enough broken relationships and pain to satisfy you all in hollywood?

I agree that there is too much pressure on them all round, from fans, media, the public and the industry but I think they’ve both been handling it well so far and it will get better when they move on to individual projects as their public appearances would be solo and they get to choose when they appear publicly as a couple as in Palm Springs.

It must be hellish being an on-screen couple and trying to keep your off-screen relationship private. Hopefully, the media scrutiny would lessen on their relationship when they start having varied on-screen pairings. That has been true of most relationships that have lasted in hollywood. As soon as they are into the relationship, they rarely co-star in movies.

I don’t know what the future holds for them but I hope they hold on to what they have, it is rare and beautiful. I hope they move on to individual roles that are less sensational that will get them recognition in the industry but make them less popular amongst younger people and take them out of the whole teenage range.

I think they need to get smaller to get better, perhaps then non-fans would lose interest in them, teenagers would find them boring and they can get on with their lives and keep their sanity.

Everyone craves for love but are determined to destroy it wherever they find it. It’s really sad that kids are growing up with this mentality.

There have been so many sucessful young love stories as shared by our posters on JJ. My take is that it had to happen in Movieland and therefore would not last. I wonder if the PR reps stepping in as abruptly as they did was in some part Disney’s way of responding to the accusations that Zac and Vanessa’s relationship was all for publicity to promote the HSM movies.

Kind of like they were sayibg, “hey you’re relationship has nothing to do with promoting this movie, so stick to talking about the movie.”

If that is what Disney was doing, they must not have clued Zac and Vanessa in on it before hand given the looks on their faces.

i agree with the body language expert, not you the person who is determined to prove that zac and his hairspray costar had a thing. they never did and never will. they were paid to promote a movie. and one day zac will have to make a statement through his publicist about that if his delusional hairspray costar keeps making comments about zac to get publicity on his name.

The thing is, the powers that be behind Hair Spray WANTED the movie-going public to THINK there was something “going on” between Zac and Nikki. That was all planned by Adam Shankman to draw Zac fans to the movie. The thing is, Vanessa was with Zac for many of these promotion, and stayed behind the scenes–even the last one in Australia.

When Zac and Nikki left the red carpet, they went their separate ways. As a matter of fact, Zac hung out with Britney Snow and Amanda Bynes, and Elijah Kelley. There are tons of pictures of them out and about in Toronto. Nikki hung out with her family.

Now, the powers that be behind HSM3 want Zac and Vanessa to come across as sweet and innocent Troy and Gabriella. The kids Disney is pushing this movie to are between the ages of 6 to 12 years old. No way in hell do they want these fans seeing Zac and Vanessa all over each other on a red carpet. They didn’t for HSM, HSM2 and they aren’t going to do it for this one.

Different movies, different promotions. And Zac is still with Vanessa LONG after the HS movie is over and forgotten about.

The thing is, some of the shippers refuse to admit that Zac has taken Vanessa on TWO very romantic vacations, the last one in July to the Caribbean for TEN days. And he live within walking distance of her house. That tells me more about the reality of their relationship than any delusional little girls’ wishes for him to be with some other girl.
