Angelina Jolie Frequents Lee’s Art Shop
Angelina Jolie takes three of her six kids to Lee’s Art Shop in midtown Manhattan on Saturday afternoon. (She toted around the black leather Ferragamo “Luigia” tote with metal gancio.)
The 33-year-old actress carried Zahara, 3, in her arms while Maddox, 7, and Pax, who turns 5 next month, were seen walking to the store from their SUV. A large group of passersby stopped to get a glimpse of the Jolie-Pitts.
The New York City art supplies store is a favorite of Brad and Angelina’s. They visit Lee’s every time they’re in town!

Am I the only one who hates seeing papz pics of celebrities’ children. These kids are just kids and shouldn’t be stalked and harassed in this way. I love Mad’s hair. There is nothing wrong with letting kids express themselves that way. There are ways to color their hair without using permanent color or damaging their hair. When my son was about that age it was all the rage with his friends too.

There is no way to bleach black hair to white without using permanent color. I just think it’s a weird thing to do to your child’s hair and A was giving him a mohawk from the time he was an infant because she likes it that way. When I was a kid little boys didn’t think about their hair. They think about it now because their parents encourage it and pay for it.

Anybody criticizing changing a kid’s hair color…kids today love doing that,even at that age my 2 nephews were into hair and style too, boys today like to have their own look too, it’ s a way to express themselves. I like how the JP’s allow their kids to be different. Pax obviously likes his hair longer, it’s natural between siblings to want to be different and they don’t have them all matchy . Z likely has a strong opinion on her own hair as little girls often do (my sister would not let my Mom near her). Sheesh, have you people had or been around children ever?! ITA - as a parent you have to pick and choose where to make your stands. My son wanted an earring in 7th grade (I wasn’t thrilled but the deal was all A’s on the last grade card and it was a go) by the time football season rolled around and he had to take it out for practice and the games, it suddenly wasn’t that much fun. Well, my nitwit kid got some Super Sun-In and sprayed it all over his head and sat under the hair-dryer for half an hour and his hair came out ORANGE!!! I laughed myself into a coma. He just had to live with it until it faded out. He never did it again.

Zahara is gorgeous and I love her eyes. As for her hair, Angie is doing it right, leaving her hair natural. There is no need to put any chemicals in her hair until she is a teen or when Zahara wants it herself (in her teens). Relaxers can do more harm than good. All Angie has to do is keep her hair greased and brush or pick it to promote heathy tresses.
Anyone want to explain to me why the same people who are outraged at bleaching Mad’s hair insist that Angie put chemicals on the head of Z so as to straighten it ?

I just think it’s a weird thing to do to your child’s hair and A was giving him a mohawk from the time he was an infant because she likes it that way. The real reason, honey, is they are not joined at the hip. Angelina is smarter than that. She knows the best way in the world to lose a guy is to hang all over him like a leech. When I was growing up my Mom would put in hairdressing and plaits in my hair evry morning. I did the same with my daughter. Especially if she would be leaving the house. But times have changed. Here, in Canada, I notice a lot of black kids with their hair just like Zee’s. Adults too and especially teenagers. Washed, conditioned and left uncombed. By the time my daughter was starting kindergarten she was telling me how she warted her hair combed. If Zee does not like her hair, her mother will soon hear about it. great pictures. it is amazing to me that there are still so many narrow minded people who judge or are afraid of someone who looks different. the fact that these children are allowed to express their individuality is great. painted nails, hair color, black clothes, nothing wrong with these things. no hidden meanings no sexual identity implied, just little kids being free to be themselves. you don’t have to look like everyone else or be like everyone else to be a good person and i am so glad jolie pitt fans understand that. i think these children are precious and free to be themselves which is a great gift for a parent to give a child.

She isn’t your child. As an outside observer your only real concern should be is she well looked after or is she being abused… stuff like that. Her hair is clean and she looks healthy and well.
These opinions about her hair are very strange and seem a little frantic and they say more about the ‘baggage’ some people are carrying then anything Angie maybe neglectful about.

You people I really feel sorry for you I’ve been writing my girl Jess just got back from Iraq she was there for six months she is now home in the states Ga. and not one person can say that god shes ok I’m happy for you shes home. Well I’m thrilled My Jess is home my beautiful daughter. When does the obsession stop to say 1 nice thing, you can’t even put me in a bad mood . There are many famous celebrities out there who are just as beautiful and as successful as Brad and Angelina. (Will and Jada smith anyone?? Jake and Reese, Mcgoslings, etc etc etc).
We fans, CHOOSE to project our idealizations on Brad and Angelina not because they are BLANK canvasses but because they have already done things that we can IDENTIFY with, be it their humanitarian work, their love of their acting craft, the commitment they show to each other by spending time together and the commitment they show their children by taking turns to work. We also like the way they keep living their lives (and proving the idiots tablies wrong in the process. I picked up a copy of a June 2007 tablie at the hair dressers yesterday and had a good laugh at the story – something about arguing and breaking up….)
Who we choose to be fans of says a lot about what we identify with and our values and our dreams. Just as choosing to be an avid fan of x or Paris Hilton says a lot about those people.

I understand about the twins not being there but where’s Shiloh, surely she is old enough to enjoy the outings the others do, both Suri Cruise and Kingston Rossdale are always out and about with their parents and they’re the same age…plus both Maddox and Zahara were always out with Brad and Angelina when they were her age too.
I know that it may be that it is too tiring for her to bring them all out together but is seems that Shi is always the one left at home….
My God those children have grown! Mad and Pax are big boys now and Princess Zee is a long-limbed little girl. They all - including mum Angelina - look so happy and healthy. It´s great that they take the children out but where is Shiloh? They should take her out too. But maybe we´ll see her too during this next week that the JPs are in NYC.
Angelina is simply stunning. As always, after all :D Her much awaited re-entry was everything that I expected and more. Simplicity, ellegance, class, style, all in all ROYALTY!!! The dark hair fits her best. And she also gained the weight that she lost after her unfortunate loss. The conclusion is that nobody does it better than Angie. As Clint Eastwood said, “she has a gorgeous face and she is unique”. Indeed she is. Not only for her looks but for the way she lives her life (as a citizen of the world, as she says) and for what she does for the others.
Ruth, the paps are to blame for scaring the kids like that, not JJ. You are right, it’s insane to do that arround children, but somethnig sould be done against tha paps and not against the sites that publish the photos. Of course, you will say that if the site would not publish, the paps would not bother to take the pictures. But there will always be a site or a mag to buy and publish photos.
I don’t understand why Z’s hair is always a mess…..the boys always have new hair styles and hair color and Z seems to be overlooked. With all the help they have why can’t they look after African American hair better. Z is a beauty anyway though. Very sweet little girl.

Everytime I see Zahara’s head my feelings are hurt. Zahara has a great hair texture (natuarally curly) so her should already be past her shoulders even without chemicals if it would have been properly maintained.
The way she’s going Zahara is GOING to be baldheaded or have extremely short hair anyway without the help of chemicals since what they are currently doing is breaking the child’s hair off anyway.
