High School Musical’s Madrid Meal
Zac Efron and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens grab dinner together with their HSM castmates Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu in Madrid, Spain on Friday.
The foursome, along with director Kenny Ortega, are on a worldwide tour promoting their upcoming blockbuster film, High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
Next up? Munich, Germany for their premiere on this Sunday!
Upon returning to the United States, Vanessa will be a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on October 10th. Zac will make his own appearance on October 15th.

Why is it that all Zanessa fans, or the majority of them anyways, hate Ashley Tisdale as an individual? I’m a Zashley shipper but I don’t hate Vanessa, and what did Ashley do to bother you guys so much? I just don’t get it. She never did anything…
It just goes to show you, no matter how famous you are, even if you’re nice to everyone and never did anything to trash your rep or do anything wrong, you’re always gonna have haters anyway. Some people just like to nit pick and purposely look for things to hate about certain celebrities, even if they have no good reason. Saying “Because her style burns my eyes” or “Because that nose job screwed up her face big time” isn’t a proper reason for disliking a person. In short, none of you have any reason at all to hate Ashley Tisdale, but a lot of people do for completely messed up, illogical reasons. It’s kinda pathetic. She never did anything wrong, and you can’t hate her because you don’t approve of something about her physical appearance. Grow up.
Regarding the necklace… Since Vanessa has quite the collection of necklaces, I thought I would look through some past shots. Check out the Vanessa entry from July 3. Look at the necklace. I think this is the one that Zac is currently wearing.
Oh and adding to that, here’s another common excuse that some of you always use for hating Ashley:

That’s not a good reason to hate someone either. So go ahead, what’s your next reason? I bet it’s as stupid as the examples I’m giving, they’ll all be stupid. Wow all the haters are out in force, time to crawl back to whatever rock you came from. I don’t understand why you feel the need to slate someone’s character, be it that Zac is gay, the Ash is ugly, or that V is a ****, whatever it is you say is not true, does it make you feel good to make up lies about someone. I understand everyone has their own opinion, but making idiotic remarks does not make you smart, it makes you sound pathetic.
Zac and V have been happy for a long time, you can’t judge from a couple of pics, they all look tired, and with all their travelling I can’t blame them. There have been loads of pics this past week where you can see Zac looking at V, with what can only be desribed as love and such intensity its striking. I don’t understand why they have given us any reason to doubt that their realtionship isn’t real, they haven’t. They are not like Heidi and Spencer, they are so private about it, its so amazing really how they have kept it so, I am so glad that they are guarded, they are such a strong young couple, it doens’t matter what idiots like you all say because they know one another, and you can tell they have such trust and stregnth within their realtionship, Zac said that she is his best friend, which is the best foundation a realtionship can have. These two have so much to look forward to in life, and I hope they enjoy every minute of it.

Im just stating the obvious, I no Zac and V have been together for a while but can you honestly see happiness in his eyes this past month?? In reality, they are closet fans who can’t keep away from V’s pics. They need to see her beautiful face everyday so they always visit her threads to gaze at the pics and then deliberately make hate comments hoping fellow fans would respond, then they can respond back and increase V’s comment count.
I figured out that their real purpose is to keep V’s comment count high so JJ would keep posting about her and they’ll keep getting their V picture fix.

People who make degrading comments about Vanessa are also degrading Zac. He’s the one who chose Vanessa. He’s the one who has been with her for the past three years. And to imply that he’s only with her for a Disney promotion is blatantly saying he is not very bright.

They are not meant to look like bf/gf, Disney have told them they can’t, they are there to promote a movie, not each other. For this they are two individuals, who just happen to be dating, and playing people that date in the movie, its not a ‘made for tv romance’, anyone with eyes can see these two really have something on and off screen. But, Disney have told them not to mention the fact they are dating in real life. In an interview, when asked about V, Zac uses the phrase “i can say….and this is what i can say” and then he goes on to say that V is the heart of HSM. So therefore it proves my point, but other than that they are private about their relationship and they have never put it on show, I know its what some of you want as if to prove it somehow, but they never will.
At the end of the day, their relationship status is none of our business, and we really shouldn’t be concerned with it, we should focus on our own lives, and just admire and support Z and V in whatever they do if we are fans, if you aren’t then go away anyway.
Zac and Vanessa show their affection only behind closed doors and that’s showing respect for their love and each other. They have strict Disney rules not to show PDA during Premieres and in front of Press including the Paps so do not judge Zac as being cold , he is really trying his best not to touch her(keeping his hands on his pocket at all times) but he does it discretely anyway, standing behind her, leaning towards her, arm to arm touch, etc.. No worry, Zac and Vanessa have true love in their hearts , they’ll be fine.

And along the same vein of thinking as Naomi, I often feel like the people that say all the doom and gloom stuff about Zac and Vanessa breaking up are only saying that because they are hoping some of us with more logical thinking will refute them by explaining just why their comments—actually their fears—are not grounded in reality. They hope to get facts or pictures from fans who have more information than they do.
Also, I think they think if they write all these taunts about how Zac doesn’t show any affection of love to Vanessa and say he is being a jerk or unfaithful that it will force Zac to do just the opposite when another set of pictures come out. They think the next time we will see him hugging and kissing her all over the place to put those silly comments to rest. But then those pictures would be scrutinized also just like the pictures from the basketball playoff games in SLC. They are doing a good job being themselves whether you people like it or not.
Did you ever just stop and think how in every picture whether they are being affectionate or not—like the cafe pics—that they are always together? There is always a connection there between them and you can see it. They are concerned for each other and they are getting through this TOGETHER no matter if it is a happy time or a frustrating one.

People are not required to have smiles on their faces all the **** time. They are probably tired from all the press and jet lag and I’m sure its not fun being crowded and pushed into a vehicle with a bunch of cameras in your **** face.
And some of you Zac only fans are a bunch of idiots…you must not have a very good opinion of Zac if you think that he wouldn’t just tell Vanessa to f**k off if he was unhappy. People have been saying that they are going to break up since they found out they were dating…so I’m not suprised to see people still predicting it. Part of the reason Zac most likely likes Vanessa is to do with the fact that she fell for him before he became someone that tweens, teens, women and even some men drool over. She liked him when he was just a regular guy that had only had a few small roles in tv movies and a short stint on a tv show. She didn’t just hook up with him the moment he became famous. They started dating before HSM even premiered on Disney Channel.
Zac and Vanessa have to be careful because they are there to promote HSM3 and not their relationship. Many movies have failed when the press paid more attention to the relationship going on between two actors in the film than the actual movie and I’m sure Disney is concerned about that.

II’ve said this before but I think it bears repeating: I just don’t understand why people expect celebrities to be “on” ALL the time. Zac, Vanessa, Corbin and Ashley aren’t leaving some T.V. studio after an interview, attending a photo call or walking a red carpet they are leaving a restaurant after dinner. That means they most likely fulfilled their professional obligations for the day and they are on their own time. Why should they “Play” to the cameras under those circumstances? I really wish SOMEONE would explain that to me. I’m sure they are completely use to the cameras by now and I’m sure they expect them. But that doesn’t mean they always HAVE to like having the cameras in their faces 24/7.
To be honest I would see pictures like these then picture after picture of Zac and Vanessa wearing big plastic smiles. If they don’t feel like responding to the camera and smiling when it is their own time then by gosh they shouldn’t do it. They keep it real and I for one respect that.

#210 - Geez, lighten up and see reality please. No one knows what they’re thinking, but this trip is for promotions, remember. They have never been a couple to broadcast their relationship, but it ’s the little things that they let us see sometimes that tells us they are still very much in love.
Remember, Disney is pulling the strings here and telling them what they should and shouldn’t do while on this trip. I personally think they did a great job on their own in Sweden. They’ll be doing promotions in Mexico and Australia by themselves and I’m sure are looking forward to that time.

Agre with you 100% about why should Zac and Vanessa have to be all smiles and over each other 24/7 just becuase there is a camera there, as you said they had fulfilled their job for the day and had cameras in their faces and this was their down time to be with their friends and hopefuly enjoy a nice meal ending what was no doubt another hetic day.
I ahave said this before but like your point it does’nt hurt to say it again yes they are in a job that they know is going to put them in the public eye and yes they know fans nd the press are going to want to know about their lives BUT once they have done that job what they do outisde of work is nobody’s buiness but their’s and they should’nt be expected to have to smile 24/7 or be all over each other, they have never pushed their relactionship in people’s face’s and I think that is whyit has lasted as long as it as from a early age becuase as Zac said a relactionship is betwen two people and everybody else can keep their noses out but for them unfortunetly people don’t seem to get that part and insist on spreading hurtful and nasty rumours about them no doubt to get a rise out of them and I say well done to Zac and Vanessa mainly for not giving the press and some fans the satisfaction of doing that, as out of the hsm cast they are the one’s that take the most flack and have their every move put under a micrscope.
After the nasty and down right hurtful coments the Paris press said it’s no wonder they all seem to have lost some of the sparkle from their face’s and if it was me I would be glad to get done with the promo tour and just get back home and in Zac’s case just lookforward to spending my 21st with my family and close friends.
I know that Zac and Vanessa stil have two more dates to do later in the year with just Kenny and one of them is in Australia and I hope they enjoy some quality time together on that trip as they wil be there for a week and we know that they don’t get bothered as much by the press when they are on their own time it’s just a pity that some other counties don’t follow suit.
Loved how Zac gave Vanessa his coat that is sweet as it’s not excatly the weather to be going around in a t-shirt bu he does that quite often which I think is really nice.

Zac and Vanessa are a bigger draw than I expected. They create quite a stir everywhere they visit in Europe. Zac in all his gorgeousness and Vanessa, I think she looks so spanish somehow and she really looked extraordinarily beautiful in her many outfits and makeup. I’m sure they’re gonna be an even bigger hit in the asian countries. A lot of people here have endeared Vanessa to them because of her asian background and the timing of the premiere here is just right, the beginning of the end of the year school Hols and after the exams.
Just discovered that Vanessa’s album has not reached our shores because her album has not got the license for such a release. I guess it does have something to do with the lawsuit and hope I’m wrong, here. The record shop operator told me that her last album sold very well and with all the hsm3 hype, I’ve no doubt that her 2nd album will fare even better here/overseas.

I just realized that the kissing will be censored in the cinemas in my country, prudes that they are. Just saw it and you can tell that it is for real with a lot of emotion from both parties concerned. My heart just melted into mushy butter. All I can say is OOOh and Aaaah just like the audience. Some of them were clapping for …..sakes and they were a raucous crowd.
WHAT??????????? They are gonna censor it in MALAYSIA?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I live for that kiss!!! *sobs* Great! Just great.. I wont be able to squeal as much now.. sigh..

#202 - there was some interview in sweden where vanessa said she would be living ‘alone’ inher place … no idea if zac is not moving in at al, if he was ever moving in, or if moving in but later … no one knows … the enquirer is the one who first broke that zac was moving in w/ her .. and i know its been the enquirer, but they have been accurrate with stuff lately (see john edwards/sara palin etc etc)
who knows! time will tell …..

Hi, evelyn. I think whether Zac is going to be living with Vanessa or not, she HAD to say she was moving in alone. Disney would have freaked out if she had told the world he was moving in with her. And if he does, it’s none of our business. Bet getting out from under Disney’s reign, so they can live their personal life without scrutiny, is something they can’t wait for!!
troy, I totally agree with you!! They don’t have to be “on” or smiley all the time when they are on their personal time. It’s silly for people to expect that. I think they are always appropriate in front of any kind of cameras, but like the pic above in the car, I’ll bet when the car pulls away, and the cameras are off, she lays her head on his shoulder, he pulls her close, and they can be Zac and Vanessa.
I also have an issue though with DIsney having so much say in their interviews. They are being interviewed as Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, NOT as Troy and Gabriella. How sad that they can’t be themselves……..it’s not like they’ve EVER said anything out of line!!!

I think it is sad that Disney thinks they need to “censor” Zac and Vanessa and what they are saying. First of all, it stands to reason that interviewers are going to ask questions about their relationship. When the two of them sidestep the issue too much that just causes controversy as we have seen on the boards. Secondly, these two have NEVER spoken too intimately about their relationship when asked anyway so I don’t know why Disney just doesn’t let them handle it.
As far as the Brad and Angie posts getting more hits…well, look how many posts Zac and Vanessa have gotten over the past week compared to Brad and Angelina. Then add up all the comments our couple have gotten and you will see, I think, they have outnumbered Brad and Angelina.
As far as Vanessa saying she will be living in her house alone, I think she was referring to the fact that she did not buy the house for her and her parents—that it is hers alone and she would not be living there with her parents. Some have said she bought it for her parents and sister and would be living there with them. Also, I’m sure she wouldn’t be saying she is going to live there with Zac even if Disney said she could say it or not. Once again, these two are private about their personal affairs. But considering that even J-14 magazine wrote how Vanessa and Zac are moving in together shortly I think we do have to consider that is a possibility. LOL
And maybe Zac has a red nose because it is cold outside or maybe he does have a touch of a cold. But he always does seem to think of his lady first in these situations and it certainly would not be the first time we have seen Vanessa wearing his jacket.

I think that to some degree Disney have gotten a bit to controlling with Zac and Vanessa, like you say they have always had questions about their relactionship but have always handled it their own way which has been with dignity and never said or done anything regarding that relactionship that Disney need worry about when they have been out promoting HSM they have always been very professionl but there is a obvious attraction, connection and love between these two people that Disney should be proud of how they’ve handled it when in the public eye.
And to be honest why should they have to supress something that has come into their lives after all all they did were met and connected straight away and built on that, but as being said they have never flaunted their relactionship or even divulged any great details about it or how they feel about one another looks say it all, but naturally they are both geting older and althugh I don’t think they will ever gush about one another if they feel likeanswering a question about them and they know that they wil get asked then it’s up to them if they answer, to me they seemed a lot more relaxed and happier when they were in sweden and they got asked questions there without the interuptions of Dinsey and they handled them well enough on their own, so Disney should credit them with being able to deal with it.
If anybody should get brifed about the questions then it should be the press.
And of course it’s a possibility that they could be moving in togther but again it’s not something that they are going to broadacast to the world as such a big step is something that is between them and nobody else, but even with that so what if they had of said’ yes we’re moving in together’ Zac will be 21 soo and Vanessa 20 they are both nearly adults making a decision that affects just them and how far their relactionship has come is nothing to do with Disney or anyone else.
Personally if it wasme I would’nt even consider signing on for a 4th movie after this I would always be grateful for being given the chance to starin a Disney film and for the opportunitys that it gave me but the controlling of what you can or can’t say in a interview when you’ve done nothing for that kind of thing to be enforced would tell me that it’s time to part company with them and branch out and contiune to grow as actor’s and be able to talk about my partner when I wanted to and not when being told it is okay to do.
I hope they enjoy their last few days for now and that Zac has a happy birthday and I’m sure will be lookingforward to Mexico and Australia I know I wold especially Aussie a whole week there andknowing you don’t get so bugged by the press has got to be something to lookforward to.

I totally understand why Disney would control Z&V interviews. If HSM3 is as successful as Disney hope, HSM1-3 will have the potential to be a billion franchise and Disney is not going to let anyone(Z&V,paps, press, etc ) interfere with that. If anyone ask Vanessa if she going to live alone in her new house the is “yes”. Publicist will tell Z&V what the can talk about, and will sit in on all interviews. It is about generating profits in a bad economy.

Suprise, suprise Vanessa has her ring back on and her and Zac are now standing close again on the photo’s, guess Disney must have told them to look a bit happier and keep the pretence going just that bit longer, not long now til their back in the states and can go their seperate ways until the next lot of promo’s start and the smiles and faulse look’s will be back, no wonder Zac and Vanessa want tomve on from HSM3 the strain must be a real bummer.

What is your problem? If you would have followed these two for the last 18 months you would have seen they have been together week in week out, shopping together, going to pump gas together—not all promo stuff since at many of those times were when they didn’t even know there was going to be a HSM3. Vanessa was even the one who was with Zac during his appendicitis attack and took him to the hospital.
It would probably do you well to know your subject a little better before you try talking about it.
I don’t like very well this couple. I love both of them but toghether they don’t look good for me…

I just don’t see what would be the big deal if Zac held Vanessa’s hand when they do things like this, he has no problem geting close to his other co-star’s yet his supposed girlfriend he has a problem it seems even being close to her it’s not to much toask of your boyfriend for him to show a bit of affection.
And knowing he does it with other people he works with would really bug me n matter how much trust was in the relactionship it’s still gotta hurt.
I wonder why Lucas and Monique are’nt doing any promo’s it’s strange seeing everyone else as it’s always been the six of them that’s done things like this.

I see Vanessa’s kuppio ring was mising again when she and Ashley did her BBC inteview and what would have been so wrong if she had just said yes we’re dating and left it at that it’s not excat;ly a secret but I’m stil not convinced their together, but no doubt becuase its the premeier tonight thering will make another apearence just like the last promo and the smiles wil be back after all it’s their last one so they have to milk it for disney for all it’s worth, as they know what a stir they cause so disney must be rubbing their hands together with these two and their publicity show they;ve been putting on since day 1 of HSM.
