Nicole Kidman - “Elle” November 2008
Nicole Kidman graces the November 2008 cover of Elle’s Annual Women in Hollywood Issue. The 41-year-old new mom dishes about living in Nashville with country-singer-husband, Keith Urban, being a new mom to baby Sunday and her upcoming film, Australia.
The Moulin Rouge actress co-stars with Hugh Jackman in Australia. The Baz Luhrmann-directed film is set in pre-World War II Australia, revolves around an English aristocrat who inherits a sprawling ranch reluctantly pacts with a stock-man in order to protect her new property from a takeover plot. The film is to be released November 26th.
The issue also honors actress-director Jane Fonda and Halle Berry.

Nicole is an amazing actress, she did some wrong steps (i only remember Stepford Wives and Bewithced) as everyone, she takes high risks making small independent projects like Fur, Dogville, Margot at the Weeding, Birth…in all these movies she had amazing performances! but the problem is that people in generall don’t see them, they prefer to see rubish movies as High Scholl Music, Wanted, Hancook….she represents the true art!
you can say she is ugly, too thin, botoxed, etc….but you can’t say she isn’t an amazing actress because she really is!

I’m sorry but she is so fake. I see so many women in my everyday life where I live who are more beautiful, more natural, more talented, less self-centred and living a real life. My own daughter is one such woman. A combination of English, Irish, Spanish, Italian and Egyptian descendency have provided her with stunning looks as well as the attributes listed above and more! She would do more justice to the cover of Elle than Nicole does.
Still don’t know what is so bloody great about HER ….. she looks evil!

Sorry Hostas, but box office numbers have nothing to do with acting ability. If I’m not mistaken, Transformers was on of the biggest box office hits of last year and I doubt sincerely that we’ll be seeing Megan Fox or Shia Laboeuf being touted for their performances any time soon.
While airbrushed, these are gorgeous photos. For the record, pretty much all photos in magazines are airbrushed. This is nothing new.

for a pretty broad spectrum of her work.
Granted, not every film she’s made has been a box office success, but first and foremost, she’s a decent actress who actually seems to have a bit of integrity about the films she picks, going for not just your archetypal box office successes, but more avant-garde films that are guaranteed not to pull in big numbers.

Nicole looks amazingly beautiful and gorgeous, in ALL pictures here, not just in these magazine pictures. She is sweet, sexy, classy, feminine and graceful, and quite unique.
Those who are badmouthing her here are just envious because they don’t have her refined nordic beauty, style, talent and success. Quite pathetic.

I actually think that all the people who love her must be American because I live in Australia and I have never heard anyone say they like her. In fact they seem to dislike her quite intensely.
