Robert Blake — not guilty

At one time, being from California, I could name about ten of these, but I’ve since moved and forgotten the other high-profile cases where the obviously guilty parties walked.

Oh, and for the idiots still believing he didn’t kill Nicole, why was he trying to flee the country in a beard, with a gun, and the cash he could grab at the time? Why didn’t he follow through on his promise to “find the real killer”, if he wasn’t finding him every morning while looking at the mirror when he was shaving?

Give Oj a break he’s been searching high and low for the killer of his wife and Ron. It’s hard work walking those golf courses day in and day out. Millions of people watched the trial and millions were just as disapointed in the not guilty verdict. Too much evidence pointed to him butchering two people, and taking away his childrens mother and an innocent friend Ron. He got off because he’s a celebrity, had a good defense team and the black community rallied, bullied and threatened to win him his freedom.

Karma has spanked OJ. Whatever he did in the past, he totally deserves this judgment. It’s a relief to everyone who was outraged at his previous verdict. What a sad fall from grace for a once privileged a-hole.

There is no way a criminologist would consider OJ innocent of murdering his wife unless you absolutely flunked evidence. When you have the killer’s DNA on the victims and their DNA on the killer, you have a solid case - unless you get a team of attorneys who can drag out the DNA testimony from a half day to three and a half weeks until they can’t follow what it means anymore.

……..getting an extra harsh sentence for a different crime is NOT justice……..REVENGE IS NOT JUSTICE. Get real.

the answer to your question is very easy to explain. the jury for his murder trial was made up of all african americans. there apparently was only one white person on it. these people in their infinite wisdom decided allow oj to walk free. the idiots; this man should have been put on death row.

……jurors simply do not want to jail famous people…………that’s all. Robert Blake is ALSO free and Spector got a mistrial. Saying this is a Black and White (racial issue) is wrong. It is simply that the USA looks up to people of power/talent and would prefer not convict or jail them. Even Bush invaded Iraq without any real legal reason…. The USA judicial system does not appear to abide by it’s own laws.

…………if Brad Pitt killed someone, would he get due process ? Could he receive the electric chair or lethal injection like every normal people could ? I doubt it.

Firstly, the OJ Simpson saga is as divided along racial lines as it always has been. Just looking at these posts, you can pretty much determine by the replies the race of the poster…no further comment in that regard.
Regarding Sydney and Justin Simpson, they have lived the better part of their lives without their mother and in the care of a father who has not been the best role model, to say the least. His videoed”lap dance” escapades, road rage, continued physical abuse in a relationship, etc. have, I’m sure, been tumultous for them. I recall years ago Sydney Simpson’s 911 call to police about her father who “doesn’t care for any of his children”. Growing up as the children of OJ Simpson has, I’m sure, not been easy. But they are not “children” anymore and are, in fact, young adults hopefully ready to move on with their lives and not needing their Dad’s “love” and attention as much. In that regard, I wish them well.

#75-boogie, as you call yourself. Please reference a dictionary. The meaning of the word acquit means, to absolve, to free from all charges or suspicion of get. The word is derived from the french word meaning “to absolve”… hence the word absolution. That’s why one may say that they’re going to their preist to seek “absolution.” I don’t how many ways to say “NOT GUILTY.” The beaty of the system is that it doesn”t matter what you either did or are accused of. When the jury says “NOT GUILTY”… IT’S AS THOUGH YOU NEVER DID ANYTHING.

It looks as though they finally got OJ after 14 years of trying. However, I do not see this as a victory by any means. In 1995 OJ was found not guilty by a jury sanctioned by our legal system. I have no idea if OJ did or did not murder his ex wife. I watched that trial all those years ago and say and heard only the lies from both sides. Those of you who watched the trial all those years ago will remember that there were lies by the police and, of course, a great deal of lies from the OJ “Dream Team” . My point is this - it is clear that this Las Vegas thing was a setup from the start. Otherwise why would there be all the recordings. In no way am i saying that OJ is right and I certainly am not saying that he should go free if her murdered his ex wife but I am saying that he was found not guilty and that should be that. I guess that it just worries me that our legal system can haunt a man for eternity if they so desire and finally trap him by means that would not be acceptable in any other case. Are we to say that if a person is found not guilty of a crime that we can then set that person up so that we can get justice? Here you all are doing dances over the fact that OJ was found guilty of a crime where he was clearly set up. Where are your morals and sense of justice? this was a setup plain and clear and at the highest levels of law enforcement by those that felt that OJ was a bad man and had gotten away with murder 13 years ago. it is no “coincidence” that the verdict was handed down 13 days to the day of his acquittal in the Nicole brown, Ron Goldman Murder trial. These are people that like symbolism and metaphors. this is a case of American justice! You cannot kill or be perceived to have killed white people and not be punished. Do we hear the same outcry over Robert Blake being found not guilty? How about Phil Spector? Where is the outcry there? setting aside whether OJ committed the murders or not… primary among the reasons that he was found not guilty is that A) you had a crooked cop take his blood from a lab and taint the crime scene with it B) You had a vile racist (Mark Fuhrman) who is shown on tape to be a vile racist take the stand and lie… (who also by the way can go on and be hired by Fox news, write books, and have a radio show) and C) a pattern of corruption, lies and murder by the LA PD against minorities in general and African Americans in particular. So OJ was able to hire a great lawyer, use the police corruption and lies evident in the case against them and he was found not guilty. just as Robert Blake was found not guilty, and just as Phil Spector was found not guilty. There is no poetic Justice or karma here. This is a case where a case was manufactured and the deck stacked, in order to achieve the result that was desired. here you have prosecutors that selected an ALL white jury excluding all blacks, and then the judge sealing the jurors questionnaire from examination Hmmmmm why did she do that? She did it because now that it is now public we see that the prosecutors systematically excluded all blacks and left all white. Even whites that admitted that they did not like OJ and that they felt he had committed murder 13 years ago. Then the judge excluded testimony where the “VICTIM” of this alleged armed robbery and kidnapping said he believed OJ was set up, that the tape that was used against OJ was edited and would not ALLOW him to say he did not want OJ convicted or is he wanted to drop the charges. So now he is a convicted armed Robber and kidnapper and it appears many of you are so very happy because you all feel he got what he deserved. this case should have never ever gone to trial and in the zeal to get OJ another mans life was also ruined. the so called accomplice, who received the same sentence.
