Katie Holmes takes the kids– Suri, 2, Conner, 13, and Isabella, 15 — to Alice’s Tea Cup in New York City for brunch on Sunday morning. ATC has always been one of Katie’s favorite eateries in the Big Apple!
Also along for the ride were Katie’s parents, Martin and Kathleen Holmes, as well as Tom Cruise’s mother Mary Lee.
Noticeably missing was Tom Cruise himself!

Jared, do you get your information directly from a Tom-issued press release? Because a. I see no photos of Cruise’s mother or sister (I did see photos of Katie’s parents on another site) and b. prior to the other day there were never photos of Katie at ATC, so the “it’s long been a favorite place of hers” sounds, yet again, like hyperbole.

Tom adopted Connor and Isabella when he was married to Nicole Kidman. They are his two older children. Katie is their step-mom. It’s similar to the situation with Angelina and Billy Bob Thornton. Angelina adopted Maddox and Billy Bob wanted nothing to do with the kid because he is not his biological child. Nicole has always neglected her adopted kids. Now that she has her own biological child with Keith, she is finally content. She never sees Connor and isabella. I guess because they are adopted she doesn’t consider them her own.
I can’t believe the clothes on this child, she’s dressed like summer, yet everyone else is covered up! Is Katie in a trance, dress that child properly please!

I think it pretty obvious by these picture that Suri is definitely one of those kids that takes there clothes off constantly. Bella is seen carrying her shoes. She obviously changed outfits,because it looks like Katie my have bought 2 or 3 party dresses from the store.Suri ’s in a light blue dress, and katie’s holding a pink one and a blue.I also think that is why they constantly carry the blanket because she never keeps her coat on .Everyone else is dressed warmly I don’t think they are just not dressing the kid warmly.Also they are only taking her from the car to the restaurant.It’s not like she playing in Central Park. Remember how everyone made such a big deal about Surii’s bottle? I don’t see her with it lately. People make a big stink over nothing.

Can some of you use your brains? Suri barely walks a block on her own two feet. She is driven everywhere. no need for coats and sweaters. Plus if Suri is cold she wold have told her parents.

I have only heard Nicole comment very favorably and lovingly toward her children Isabella and Connor. And I believe they visit her on school and holiday breaks. Obviously, this family is discreet when it wants to be. The paps know where Katie and Tom live and they probably camp outside their house now that she is in a play in NY. When they are in LA, you rarely see them unless they are out to dinner. Nevertheless, little Suri seems a bit spoiled with so many designer outfits and that defiant look on her face. I wonder, when i see these photos, if she is an out of control child. if it were me, I’d certainly try to protect her from the media glare which can distort a child’s innocence. Since Tom and Nicole obviously protected Isabella and Connor from the media glare when they were growing up, I expect they will eventually do that with Suri. .

In Vitro is an option for for everyone to have a child. Some women actually take years of hormones that could give them cancer in hopes of having a child so in vitro is a very good option. It did not originate from Hollywood but in England who is light years ahead of the US. The trashy midwest with their trashy surrogacy and sister mothers, polygamy, religious cults are the cancer that has to stop in America.
Many, many actors in Hollywood are themselves adopted. I don’t know if this is news but adoption began with the beginning of time. Where do you live that adoption is so rare that when you read about a few you call it a …trend? Do tell.
Awww they are being New Yorkified! Alice’s Tea Cup is a great way for a mom to spend time with her children. She’s creating memories for her daughter of having tea with her mom as a little girl. Very sweet.

There had to have been strange happenings in their divorce and I am convinced his religion was the cause. Love Connor and Bella. BUT Bella needs some fashion advice. BUT glad that she has the confidence to wear what she wants to wear. As much as I hate to say this about the cute little Suri–she looks a tad bit spoiled. I don’t think Tom was full-force into Scientology when he and Nicole adopted Bella and Connor. So they were probably raised differently. I know Nicole is fiercely protective of them, but I always loved seeing pictures of them with her at the park when they were young. She always speaks so proudly and lovingly of them. I loved her interviewing Russell Crowe and he commented on what a great kid she was and Nicole just glowed and said she was also a very kind person. Inner beauty!

Isabella and Connor are not allowed to see Nicole except under the supervision of a Scientologist(i.e. Tom or his Sister). They were allowed to travel to Nicole’s wedding but, they had a top tier Scientologist with them at all times.
One of Tom and Nicole’s major problems(other than Tom is gay) is that Nicole refused to go along with the Scientology cult. She remained true to her religion. She wanted to take the kids and raise them away from scientology but, Tom put the squash on that.
I am hoping that once they are of age and Tom can no longer control where they go and who they go with that they will find a way back to Nicole. And as for Katie she is the one that had them removed from their home along with Tom’s Sister. Tom’s sister is their care taker and she is the one raising them. Tom visits and goes to sporting events.
It is really pathetic. AND then you have a 2 year old calling the shots on what she will and wont wear. Someone call SuperNanny for this family.
It’s obvious, patently clear from these pictures that Suri is a very unhappy and spoiled girl who has been allowed to rule the family with her mood swings. She is barefoot, so Bella has to hold the shoes she has elected to discard. Katie is holding some of her toys, while Connor holds the others, in case Little Miss Suri should care to demand them. He is also holding her blanket. Bella is detaching herself from all of it with her iPod… I feel strangely sorry for all of them. They have made it so clear that having tons and tons of money does not automatically bring one happiness. Sad. Very sad.

We are in contact with his people all the time and we know who his assistant is. First of all, LeeAnne De Vette is NOT with the family in New York and she is NOT Tom’s assistant. Tom’s assistant is NOT one of his sisters. That information is easy to find if you check your sources. I wish Jared would do that before posting about The Cruise family.

That Suri is so spoiled ….she calls the shots. The older kids have to pander to both Katie and her spoiled brat. The kid dresses herself and probably throws a fit and undresses herself and demands to be dressed a certain way even if it is cold outside. Its so refershing to see Angelina’s children who were hand-me-down clothes from each other and don’t act like they are spoiled brats and throw fits and hide their faces in public. Its that stupid Katie Holmes fault too she treats Tom’s stepchildren like her servants too. I’m glad she looks old she deserves it.

The sad truth is she just does not care enough to make an effort. Nicole only values her biological baby.
Where are the pictures of the kids in Nashville? Yes they were supposedly there but I have never seen actual pictures. And Keith would not pick those kids up in a limo. He lives in Nashville & always drives himself. I have never seen any celebrity photographhed at the Nashville airport.

Those two adopeted kids look like an afterthought.
Can some of you use your brains? Suri barely walks a block on her own two feet. She is driven everywhere. no need for coats and sweaters. Plus if Suri is cold she wold have told her parents.

Suri is a child a baby, she can’t make decisions like that for herself. This is why children have parents.
Every time we see the child, she has on no socks, sometimes no shoes and sock, and half naked while all those around her are bundled up.

I’ve seen lots of pictures of Nicole and Keith with their biological baby in Nashville. You always see paparazzi photos of Nicole holding her bio-kid in public. However I cannot recall ever seeing Nicole with Connor and Isabella. They attended Nicole’s wedding to Keith but that’s the last time those children were ever seen with her. I read that they call Katie “Mom” because they feel closer to their step-Mom.
On a shallow note, considering Nicole is border-line anorexic and always freshly Botoxed, I wonder if she is embarrassed by Isabella’s sloppy appearance? Obviously Nicole has not helped her adopted daughter with her fashion-sense.
On the other hand, Connor is the splitting image of Tom. He resembles Tom more and more as he gets older. Connor is a handsome kid.

Nicole is not annorexic nor does she use botox. Nicole eats extremely healthfully & has the luxury of genetics, everyone in her family is tall. She also takes extremely good care of her skin. Also there have never been any pictures of Sunday Rose taken in Nashville. The first pictures taken were blurry ones when they landed in Australia & the most recent ones were taken in London, UK.
No one here knows how much she sees her oldest children.

1. When Bell and Connor were children, the paparazzi NEVER stalked anyone except Diana. Children were always off limits. I’ve seen many pics of her with them when they were smaller and or babies, bot not many public photos exist. When they lived in London they were in the daily papers about once a week as the London paps even back then were stalkers. Iwas in Londo in the nineties and saw the papers.
2.) I lived a few blocks from Tom and Nicole and Nic In New orleans ran with her kids daily, went to the zoo, shopped, walked, and generally was a full time mom for over 10 years.
3) Nic has stated several times that since times have changed she zealously guards her children’s privacy and always uses back entrances and ensures that there are no paps lurking when with her children. Nic also stated Bella hates the press adn doesn’t like being mentioned in interviews or having her photo taken. Nic spent a few weeks with Bella ans Connor in Franklin both before and after Sundays birth, but it’s a tiny town and we don’t like the press, so do our best to hide Nic. The children leave from different entrances and the press don’t even know they are in town. Can you tel I live in Franklin now? Nic is foillowing me, LOL
4)Nic and Keith have never been photographed with Sunday in Franklin TN yet. Those pics were taken in London.

Why are people criticizing the fact that Isabella and Connor live with Tom’s sister. He’s close to all his family and kids. Besides Tom Cruise is travelling back and forth to NYC and LA and should Isabella and Connor disrupt their teen lives to keep going back and forth with TC. Suri is a baby she’s not in school and have regular friends she sees..Isabella and Connor are forming their own individual identities they can’t be under TC’s eye every second at their age.

Connor and Isabella don’t attend school. They did attend international schools when Tom was married to Nicole.
Since the divorce they have been home schooled by Tom’s sister, who IS NOT a teacher, they have no friends unless they are scientologists adn vetted by Tom.
55 degrees in NYC today and that child is wearing a sundress outdoors, with no jacket or sweater or shoes or socks on. What the hell is wrong with her mother? Is she trying to make that child get sick?
I don’t care if Suri doesn’t want to put on a jacket, she doesn’t get to make that decision. She’s two years old and her mother is the one who decides how she is dressed. If Katie doesn’t have the common sense to make a child wear a jacket and shoes in 55 degree weather, she’s an unfit mother and somebody needs to intervene to protect that child.
Chelsie, why aren’t you blaming Bella’s so called sloppy appearance on her “Mom” Katie? Katie certainly makes it a priority to see that Suri dresses fashionably. It’s bazaar that while she is spending so much of Tom’s cash it isn’t going to one of her other children, as she has referred to them.

Thanks for your post. I know people in the film industry and they have told me exactly what you have stated. Nicole sees the kids far more than one would realize and she fiercely guards their privacy and always has.

I think Nicole was a great mother and probably still is. She is very publicity savvy and she is willing to let people talk negatively about her in order to protect her two older kids. Most of you are truly blind. How can anyone call this family outing. Look at the two older kids carrying Suri’s toys and walking behind like maids, no conversation, they just look like the maids for the queen and her princess. If you go on a family outing don’t you talk to your mum, brothers and sisters during and after dinner? don’t you hold your litte sister’s hand and doesn’t your face light up expressing happiness with regard to the event that just happened. The older girl looks so sad and miserable and looks like she needs a bit of motherly love but instead she is ignored and all attention focused on Suri as usual. Tom was recently accused of favouring Suri to the older kids because people rarely see them with the older kids. When he and Nicole adopted those kids as babies you never saw them showing them off in public or showing any affection towards them in public but with Suri she has been paraded constantly on a daily basis and always dressed up but going no where special. Do you blame people for thinking Suri is been favoured while the older ones are paid little attention. They look really miserable and not like real families.

I believe that Tom treated Isabella and Connor different than he does Suri because Tom is not the same person he was when I and C were children.
I truly believe that today he is a madman and bears none of the traits (other than his physical appearance) that existed when he was a young father to I and C. Over the years, I believe his obsession with scientology has changed him completely and he is not the Tom Cruise that everyone remembers from the movies in the 80s and 90s.
Not only does he appear to be obsessed with the cult, but he is obviously obsessed with himself.
How many normal rational people in the public eye would continue to put themselves out there after they had basically committed career and personal suicide. His behavior is outrageous yet he doesn’t seem to notice. I’ve always heard that the true sign of a mad person is when they think everyone else has a problem. Well, that’s Tom to a “T”. He’s always critical of everyone else.
In addition, when Isabella and Connor were children, Tom was married to a grounded woman. This current “wife” seems quite incapable of taking care of herself, muchless a child.
