OlderTina Fey is the New “Maverick”
Tina Fey makes her weekly appearance as Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin on last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live.
SNL regular Jason Sudeikis impersonated Democratic VP nominee Joe Biden and guest star Queen Latifah as PBS journalist and debate moderator Gwen Ifill. Together, they parodied Thursday night’s debate between Palin and Biden.
“We’re gonna ask ourselves what would a maverick do in this situation, and then ya’ know, we’ll do that,” Fey’s Palin responded when asked on how to deal with the financial crisis.
Fey-as-Palin, who habitually winked at the audience, dismissed questions about climate change, saying she wanted to talk about taxes instead: “We are not afraid to get mavericky in there.”
At the end of the segment, after delivering a shout-out to a local Alaska third-grade, she asked with flute in hand, “Are we not doing the talent portion?”

Fey killed it! In other news Palin Misquotes Albright: “Place In Hell Reserved For Women Who Don’t Support Other Women” and, yet, she expected women to purchase their own rape kits! Is this woman deserving to be second in line to the HIGHEST position in the United States?! Those who truly think so must have no regard for this country.

Evidence of the incident, though, shows no involvement by Palin at all. Still, many Old Media outlets continue to keep illegitimately linking this rape kit billing claim to Sarah Palin, even though the truth is easily discovered.

Fey as Plain, LOL, I agree withNora, I realy cannot tell the difference. I was scrolling down, and thought , that was Plain until I started reading . Okay, they look alike, but TINA FEY nails Plain in her attitude ,voice, etc. She cna really mokc her. Queen Latififah waw great as Gwen Ifill. Jason as Biden. LOL!!! MAV-ER-ICKY, indeed! If on her watch Sarah Palin allowed women to be charged for rape kits, she has some serious explaining to do. But while she’s undoubtedly the most visible offender, if the story is true, she’s unfortunately not the only one to have permitted this reprehensible practice.
