Daniel Craig Pays Tribute To Ian Fleming
Daniel Craig continues to sport his arm sling at the “The Story Of James Bond: A Tribute To Ian Fleming” tribute event in London Palladium on Sunday night. (Fleming is creator of the famous fictional secret agent James Bond.)
Girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell, who got dolled up in a chic Burberry Prorsum coat, stayed on the 40-year-old British actor’s other arm.
Craig refused to say how he got the three-week-old injury but his spokeswoman revealed the 007 star underwent a shoulder operation several weeks ago.
The Quantum of Solace is the 22nd Bond movie and is due out on Halloween — October 31!

I think the gf is hard to look at and strikes me as being unpleasant. Kind of cold. The clothes and her hair don’t do a thing for her. I wonder what the attraction really is. He looked the most cheerful when she wasn’t hovering 2 inches away

I have been told that she “allegedly” refers to his fans mostly as “oh those people”..I’ve heard that a couple of times now from folks (in the planning side of the business) who are professional and not swayed by fame, nothing to gain from telling me, etc.
There are many other people who have an elevated sense of importance because they are usually are on the periphery of fame/famous people and that they act in a similar fashion.
Dealing with these people are “hazards” of the job as Satsuki isn’t the only person like this they have to deal with.
Of course to be safe I stuck the word “alledgedly” in as I did hear it third party.
I think you’ll find that Sats smiles more internally as to the “catch/life” she has and to, at least that night by all accounts, the battle she won over Daniel’s mother.
Would have love to have been in THAT limo with them..

So Gemma looked beautiful that night, the majority of ladies turned up in gorgeous evening wear as it was a “black tie”..so the gf’s cream dress, it was apparently very plain and fumpy looking and a trenchcoat, seemed a little half baked for the occasion.
Oooo…LUV how Gemma looks - very classic and simple. I’d have a lighter color evening bag tho’ - but that being very picky.

Maybe you’re all jumping to conclusions on the Daniel taking his mum thing. I can’t see Daniel asking his mum to go with him, then turning around and telling her she can’t go because Satsuki wants to go instead. Maybe mum wasn’t asked at all, or she was ill or couldn’t make it. Or maybe she was there, the truth is none of us know what really happened.
As for Satsuki and the limelight, well maybe she’s finally comfortable and enjoying it all now. A few years ago she use to look uncomfortable and not really at ease with it. So why shouldn’t she enjoy it and milk it for all it’s worth, there’s plenty of others out there who do!!
Honestly, could someone explain why dc wants to be with substandard Mitchell. Gemma looks lovely and Mitchell looks like a misfit. Surely he notices things like that. I truly don’t understand. She reflects on him. Also, if she is making an enemy of his mom, if true seems so foolish on many levels.
The change was last minute. The people in charge of the “flow” inside the theatre weren’t notified by the change whcih tehy should have been due to security reasons.
His mother was scheduled to “do the carpet”.
No-one was surprised though when Satsuki appeared as she goes and does everything with him.

The point i was trying to make was maybe there was a genuine reason why his mum didn’t go. Maybe it wasn’t Satsuki spitting her dummy out so to speak. Maybe that’s why Satsuki didn’t look the part (according to whats been said on here) Maybe she threw something on last minute to go there.

Don’t mean to rude but it wasn’t THAT last minute..that girl has tons of clothes to wear and be prepared.
From what I am hearing, she wanted to be there instead of his Mum. I am not gleaning that Satsuki was a “sub” for her, she “replaced” her.

I wasn’t there so i can’t really comment on what happened. But to be honest i knew it would be Satsuki turning up on Daniel’s arm, not his mum. Don’t ask me why?!!!?
Cant believe some of you people are so nasty! Why cant you leave her alone. I think they look good together, at least she is not a barbie doll and if she makes him happy that all that counts.

yes, she’s has referred to his fans as “oh, those people”; but only the female fans. satsuki does not like the fact that daniel is attracting a lot women. you must understand that despite appearances, satsuki is still deep down insecure in her relationship with daniel. she may have forgiven daniel for his affair with sienna miller but believe me she has not forgotten it. and by the way; many people in the industry have NO DOUBT that the affair took place. nor has satsuki forgotten how close, and i do mean close, daniel and eva became on the set of casino royale. then there is the fact that daniel loves women which he has made no secret of either. satsuki would like nothing better than to ensure that no woman comes anywhere near daniel unless she is standing right beside him

That “ring” she has is no more than a security measure for her and he decided that was the best way to make her feel better about them and all the stuff that “allegedly ” happened.
Not that his feelings for her aren’t genuine but the ring appeared soon after his success….
I think she’s doing what any other normal girl would do, be protective of him. She is at least obvious about it, can’t fault her for that.

Satsuki was there every day.
I defies belief then that she would stay with a man like that then.
I forgot to add, that is probably though why she gave up her job and travels around with him..to watch him.
