Leo DiCaprio’s “Body of Lies” is Phoney-Baloney?
Leonardo DiCaprio launches the premiere of his latest movie, Body of Lies, at the Frederick P. Rose Theater on Sunday in New York City.
Body of Lies, out Oct. 10th, is directed by Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Black Hawk Down), and stars DiCaprio and Russell Crowe. The film is based on Washington Post columnist David Ignatius‘ 2007 novel about a CIA operative, Roger Ferris (DiCaprio), who uncovers a lead on a major terrorist leader suspected to be operating out of Jordan.
Unfortunately, Body of Lies hasn’t been receiving the greatest of reviews. Variety calls the movie “contrived phony-baloney.”

First? Leo looks amazing, I cant wait for this movie!
First:)
I think he is an excellent actor . . .I just do not find him that attractive.
DiCaprio looks amazing !
I can’t wait to see these two very talented actors in “BOL”
Thanks , Jared, for the fantastic large photos
He looks amazing but a little bit sad. Leo is an excellent actor.
He does good work but it about the same thing. And he seem to stay alive in his movies. Also he work with same people.Never do anything funny. It always be serious. But he is good actor. Also russell crowe is a good actor too so the movie should be too bad.

It’s this The Departed but now set in a new location. Other than Gilbert Grape…he underwhelms me. I don’t get the hype…
Thanks Jared for all those wonderful pics. Leo looks wonderful and so elegant, I love his Armani suit … just love him. I can’t wait for this film coming this Friday, he will be awesome in it.
I think Leo looks wonderful too. And such an excellent actor. As for what “Variety” says, if you read the review, it says that Leonardo is fine. He does his best and puts his all into the role. Even still, he can’t overcome everything “Body of Lies” has going against it, including surprisingly Russell Crowe’s performance. I was so looking forward to them working together too. *sigh*. At least Leo has “Revolutionary Road” coming out in December. And I know he’ll do his best again, which is a knock-out any day of the week.
every actor has their great films and also their forgettable ones…it’s only natural to have some hits and flops…but Leo is a fantastic actor…and contrary to someone’s post earlier, he has played a variety of characters…the Aviator, Gangs of NY, The Departed, Blood Diamond…I don’t remember these characters being similar at all…he has a wide range of talent and I am looking very forward to Revolutionary Road!! And I’ll wait and see what the other critics say before writing Body of Lies off (I am not sure that Variety is the gospel of good and bad films…let me try Ebert, Roger Moore, etc. first)
I used to be so in love with him. I got over it. Haha. But I still love him. Talented actor. He really looks older from the last time I saw him in red carpet. However, he still looks good.
I’ve only seen two bad reviews, so I wonder which ones JustJared has seen? Sounds selective to me.
Who cares what critics think…what matters is if I like it.

Ihb; I also noticed that Leo looked sad and pensive. Hopefully that means that Leo finally broke-up with Bar for good. It’s not that I want Leo to be sad but that emotion is part of the process in a break-up. It’s better that Leo feels it now than later.
Then again I could be totally wrong because with Leo you just don’t know. At the rate Leo and Bar are going I’m not surprised if they break-up and reconcile several times in one day.
The public doesn’t care what critics say. I’ve seen movies that were praised by critics which I’ve hated and movies with medicore reviews which I liked. Ignore the critics and see the movie if it looks interesting.
so far, there’s only ONE mediocre review for Body of LIes… Other reviewers, including Rolling Stone, and Hollywood Reporter, the New Yorker, and many others.. all like it.
Your title is misleading and inaccurate.
Russell and Leo look handsome.
What I have seen of the movie looks great!

I can’t wait to see this movie.
Poor Leo does look rather worn out and sad. Perhaps missing his Oma - his first premiere without her!

Thank You!
He’s such an amazing actor. I find him to be incredible, but he seems so down to earth. He’s not this ego maniac, and I respect him for that. He doesn’t broadcast his life, he talks about what matters to him without getting real personal. He’s a real gentlemen, in my book. :)
in my experience, most critcs are usually wrong anyway..so who cares what they have to say. he looks good in these pics
Leo looks wonderful
if Leo does look rather worn out and sad i think it’s because it’s his first premiere without his Oma
Why is this only about Leo, as though Russell Crowe doesn’t exist or star as well in the movie???………..who has won an Oscar and every other award under the sun and been nominated numerous times and is considered one of the finest actors of our time???…..that would be Crowe……..very rude Jared!!!!
Actually the reviews have been quite good, it was just Variety’s review.
Actually, the reviews have been positive sans Variety. I hate how Leo is squashed in between Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato, the talentless ****** from Disney.
