Nicole Kidman To Be Honored By Shirley MacLaine
Nicole Kidman shares a laugh with country superstar husband Keith Urban while stopping by a coffee shop in Nashville, Tennessee earlier this week.
Tonight in Beverly Hills, Nicole will be honored by the legendary Shirley MacLaine at a VIP gala during Elle magazine’s Women in Hollywood Tribute.
Seven more “most powerful and celebrated women” in the movie business will also be honored at the event, which will be hosted by Chelsea Handler (host of E!’s celeb-skewering show Chelsea Lately).

Dirtbag Tom made sure he kidnapped Isabella and Connor so they couldn’t attend the gala in their mom’s honor.
Tom is so jealous of Nicole. I imagine part of that is natural…a lot of men are jealous of their wives and ex’s. I still believe that he would remarry her if she wasn’t married to Keith and if she would have him. She wouldn’t! I think Tom realizes he made a BIG BIG BIG BIG mistake when he let this lady get away.
I’m so glad she is happy and Tom is not!

But former husband Tom Cruise shouldn’t take Kidman’s comment as a slight. “I don’t want to take away from 11 years with that man that were really important,” she says. “Really, for our kids – they were amidst a lot of love. It wasn’t bad.”
And Kidman wishes nothing but happiness for Cruise and his wife, Katie Holmes. “I would hope that he has the same thing – I know he has the same thing with Katie.”
Kidman tells Elle that she doesn’t regret marrying Cruise when she was only 22 years old. “Would I want my kids to get married at that age? No!” Kidman says. “But that was an extraordinary thing for me. [Tom] taught me an enormous amount – as a girl into a woman. Absolutely, I would do it again.”

She got a dig in there at Tom saying “I would hope……”. Translation: I would hope he has the same thing since he made such an idiot of himself in the public eye. Then she colors her comment with “I know he has the same thing with Katie” LMAO! She’s so classy!
Smooth move, Nicole. That’s why we love you. One tough lady….that’s Nicole!

Unless she ahd actually done something particularly negative like, i dont know, kicked a puppy?! something like that, then maybe could you say she’s a horrible person, but tbh, i wouldnt even consider myself a fan, she always comes across well in interviews and the like, if a little shy.

I’ll bet Tom looks up pictures of Nicole while Katie is at work. He’s still in love with her. I could tell when he was on Oprah and someone mentioned Nicole. It’s like he drifted back in time and was sad for a moment. Very telling. It actually made me feel bad for him.
Everybody messes up in relationships. Tom messed up bad when he divorced Nicole. If you asked him and if he were honest, I’ll bet this would be his biggest regret ever.
I think they were two competitive for each other at that point in their lives. If he had not been brainwashed by the cult, they would have never split up. Their competitiveness would have eventually faded.
Maybe the divorce is what actually pushed him over the edge and made him a madman? Tom lost his soul mate when he and Nicole split. He was just to stubborn to realize it or admit it then.

The thing she said about Kidman was blown well out of propertion though. They did 2 films together, I’m sure if there was any animosity it would have revealed itself more than in that one comment. In another she called herself Kidman’s “new york mom”, clearly the words of a woman who hates Kidman…

No, instead she has the cr@p beat out of two paparazzi. One was a 50+ year-old man who was beat up by her trainer/bodyguard. The other was a man trapped inside his car while his bodyguard beat the cr@p out of him through the car door window.

It must be tuff for movie stars to spend so much time away from each other . Nicole and Keith and baby Sunday are constantly on the move, as are Tom and Katie and Suri. I would hate that kind of life, I want my family around me and to be able to enjoy my beautiful home, otherwise , why have one!

I have the same skin tone as she does, and it seems that we have the same wardrobe! I love her for not going for “fake tans” because she is an inspiration to women like me around the world, by not being embarrassed, and trying to hide it. I love Nicole, I love Keith, and I love Sunday. Glad to hear the trio is back in my neck of the woods. :-)
