This movie looks hilarious! Gerard Butler is really hot. Didn’t realize he was so hot. He reminds me of that guy on Lost, but much hotter.

I think the kiss is sweet. I think Thandie is making amends for refusing to kiss Gerard during the filming of RnR. Which was understandable , given his throat infection.

#11 oh please. Do NOT judge him by one picture of a kiss. Also remember that their whole love scene had to be revamped due to his illness. I think it was a token kiss for the crowds because of it. TEDIOUS is the last word most would think of when describing GB.

Everyone that I know that has seen him and have talked to him say the same thing, pictures don’t do him justice. He pulls you in and is so funny and charming . . . a great guy. I think I will go with those that have actually met him.

She is beautiful, but is a bit on the skinny side. However, that is how he likes his women. He only dates biracial models who aren’t famous, which is probably why you don’t hear anything about who he’s really dating. When you hear he’s dating Diaz or Aniston, it’s an obvious fabrication for PR.

RocknRolla isn’t a good movie. It’s a shame that it’s not, but it has only one mild chuckle in the whole film. The rest is very predictable and seems to be trying too hard to be funny, cool and clever. It doesn’t manage to pull it off like Snatch did.

BTW, did you hear his nasty snippy comment on The Tonight Show about how when women have children they’re not attractive anymore? That Scottish dog needs a muzzle.

You’re all nuts. I don’t know where you people get your info or why you get all happy about making things up about celebs but its wrong. Why does there have to “evidence” that he’s either gay or straight & just what is it that would satisfy you? What law says he has to live out his personal life in front of the cameras? The truth is: Butler dated a friend of mine yrs ago when he was making the tv mini series “Attila” (which stunk, btw). She is white, not bi-racial - so there goes that rumor. He wasn’t famous and had no reason to “hide” anything. At the time she told me he was totally a ladies man, he just liked women of all kinds, all sizes & colors, it didn’t matter to him as long as they were women. He has dated a number of women, the last steady gf he had was Bianca Christian a B-level model he dated a couple of yrs ago, not great looking, but whatever. They dated for almost a yr. I also know a friend of his family (who happens to be gay) from Glasgow who says Butler is a couple of yrs older than he says he is & and that he is not gay. In case you missed it: that’s a gay guy saying Butler is not gay.

#14 I agree with you. I meet him at the RnR premier in London and he is a very handsom man. He is also very humble and . He did not have time to take a picture with me but still he felt that he had to tell me why, I told him he diden’t. So sweet…just love him for that.

Hey tedious, you’re getting a bit well…tedious…

My problem with G. Butler is the ways he has insulted the American people who have helped boost his career, especially his comments about American men being less manly than Scots. I have a son who is serving his country, every bit as good lookin’ as GB, saving lives, fighting terrorists and keeping a six-pack constantly to be in shape for any tough job that comes up any day, not to beef up for a few months and open his shirt up to the waist and waltz around in movies looking buff. Gerard says Scottish men are more masculine than American men. ******* NOT. We have the best men in the damn world, a load of American heroes who should talk back here. They could take him down in three seconds. Gerard is a wimp in movie makeup, whining constantly about how hard his life is working on movie sets. The rest of us should be so lucky in our careers. I agree he looks good, and I don’t care that he looks older, but he is becoming very tiresome. He is nice enough but he is no hero. Why do people worship this man? We keep being told how inteliigent he is, with the law degree and all, but have you heard him say anything really intelligent? He mostly says silly goofball stuff. I don’t hate the man. Gerard Butler - I’m not gay, I’m not straight, I’m just me!

Gerard Butler has played many heroic characters throughout his career. Dracula. Attila. The Phantom Of The Opera. And very soon, Beowulf. Yet being a real-life hero, he realises, isn’t so easy.
Gerard Butler’s life story is by no means a fairy-tale.
“When I was 16 I had terrible panic attacks about dying. At 24, I thought dying might be a relief.”
Apparently, Gerard Butler’s pearl-white smile hides some dark truths.
Abandoned by his father from birth, Gerard Butler endured a rocky childhood that eventually manifested itself into a rebellious period during which the young Glaswegian dabbled with alcohol and drugs.
Gerard now admits he feels happier in himself. He says: “During some of the most miserable periods of my life, people thought I was very happy. And now that I’m actually happier, I don’t have to show it. I’m more comfortable with myself.”
Almost to demonstrate that, Gerard Butler has gone where many of his peer actors would never venture by giving candid and open interviews.
“My fans now know about my struggles,” he insists, referring to his failed attempts to quit smoking (he is alleged to smoke 60 cigarettes a day!) and his inability to sustain a relationship.

During the release of Tomb Raider 2, Gerard even managed to sneak into a preview screening at the Lowes Theater on 34th Street. “I was late, so I had to find a seat at the side, couldn’t see.” However, he did get to see the fans reactions. “I really enjoyed it!” he admits.
Most likely that anonymity will dissipate with the release of Schumacher’s highly-anticipated- ‘The Phantom Of The Opera’ but Gerard remains confident he can take it in his stride.
“At the end of the day, I’ll deal with it as it comes. I have enjoyed living an almost Earnest-like lifestyle- being able to attend movie premieres one minute and walking around London without being smothered the next. But everything has to change… eventually”
For the meantime, Gerard Butler has a lot to look forward to. Asked how he feels about the implications of his role in The Phantom Of The Opera, Gerard replies “Frightening and exciting.” A paradox just like Gerard himself.

I met him this past April. He was not only way better looking in person, and younger looking than in pictures and in film, but he was the sweetest and funniest celebrity I’ve met. He took the time to have his picture taken with me, (3), and stood around and chatted with me even though we were in a public place. He was kind, and yes was humble. I like him even more now than I did before.

I don’t know what happened to him after “300″ but I’m not into him anymore. I think he needs to work on that thick Scot accent. I also think age is getting the better of him or he needs to lose face weight. Drinking adds weight to the face and his cheeks are doing something puffy, ah na.
