He was referring to something his Aunt was thinking to herself when talking to a high school friend (she hadn’t seen for a while) that didn’t look as good as his aunt does. please don’t comment if you can’t make an informed comment. As for Gerard being gay or not, only he truly knows the answer to that. I think he looks very distinguished in his suit and Thandie giving him a kiss on the cheek is not in any way wrong to do, considering they are friends and she probably felt bad about them not being able to do the scene the way it was planned.

I actually liked him a couple of years ago, because there was something different and romantic about him, but that was just an illusion based on his looks and I too have become less of a fan.

All he indeed does do is whine whine whine about finding himself etc.
He travels to India to find himself…give me a break! And then he just continues to go to trendy nightclubs that are more for 20 year olds.

#44 (jaybird) I have to agree with you and I am also irritated by the remark. Being prior service Marine Corps but still having friends in the Military-this kinda slapped me in the face. It is our American men (including 18 year olds) who are over there knowing that they may not come back, or wondering at the same time if and when they do come back what frame of mind and or shape (physical) will they be in.

Not putting down Scotland or espically its men……but this is uncalled for. It is apparent Gerry has not met any Americans in the Military, espically those who are served their country as they have/had. They are making a sacrifice here-giving up family, their wee-being here at home andmost of all putting their lives on the line……masculine doesnt even come close to describing these men. How about honor-bound, courageous and above all BRAVE…

I wonder if he even takes a minute out of his busy schedule to realize if we (or the other countries over there or who have been) werent doing something about it then what would he think or say if say Scotland was attacked the way the US and other countries have been…..(just the loss from the Towers was unreal andabove all heartbreaking….) oh BTW…….speaking of American men…..how about our policemen and firemen and the civilians (both on the ground and in those planes) who put their lives on the line and most making the ultimate sacrifices leaving behind families? *if I miss anyone-my apologies.

Actually Glasgow was attacked by terrorists trying to bomb the airport not that long ago and it was the heroic men of Glasgow who were not prepared to let it happen and did it to them before they did it to us.
