Suri Cruise Plugs Her Ears
Katie Holmes leaves her New York City apartment on Tuesday afternoon.
The 29-year-old actress was seen carrying 2-year-old Suri, who plugged her ears and kept her eyes shut. Suri surely doesn’t like all the attention the paparazzi are giving to her!
Katie is set to appear as attorney Grace, whose mysterious fate leads her to Eli on the Oct. 21 episode of Eli Stone. (Click here for steamy preview pics of Katie.) The series returns with new episodes this upcoming Tuesday, October 14th on ABC.

#18, She had time to flash the paps a smile, so she’s not in a terrible hurry, no. If she were in a hurry to get to the car, she would look straight ahead.
She shops everyday so that she’ll be photographed by the paparazzi. This is deliberate. She probably thought Suri would be as enamored by the paps cameras as she is., but the fact that she’s not isn’t going stop Katie from getting her camera time.
Poor Suri!!!
I know a lot of people with small children and I’ve never ever seen a 2 1/2 year old carried around in a blanket. Suri doesn’t have to learn to behave like other kids since she’ll be schooled by Tom’s sister, but she won’t learn how to socialize either.
See a doctor !!!! The girl is autistic !!!!!!!!
so kh got knocked up, did she really want to be a mother? sure doesn’t look like it. she looks like she cares more about her shoes than her daughter. her daughter is her accessory for her pathetic career.
Someone come and take Suri from this horrible person. kh shows day in and day out she doesn’t give a crap about her daughter’s feelings.

As long as she is actually with the other children. I heard Katie enrolled Suri in a toddler’s gym, but instead of putting Suri in the group, Katie arranged for her to have private lessons. This poor child doesn’t have a clue as to how to interact with other children her age.
#23. Very good points!! I also think that Suri is — I’m going to say this and I’m so sorry — Autistic. Something is just not right here. John Travolta was at a Yankee game this Summer and it was so sad to see how his son was trying to communicate with him. These ‘Cult’ people are just horrible and this ‘wacko’ so called ‘religion’ should be banned. I wonder just how much money this ‘cult’ gave to the government for their antics to be called religion?
Get over yourselves. This child is just like every other child who goes through the terrible twos. Can you imagine having hundreds of people screaming at you and your mother everytime you walk out the door? She’ll get over it and start hamming it up again.
There is a photo in Perez Hilton of Angelina Jolie, where her son Pax is also hiding his face from the Paps.
Katie is doing the sensible thing, by not hiding Suri from the Paps. Why should they cover her up totally when they are just walking from their apartment/hotel/restaurant to a waiting car?
I think the bad guys here are the PAPS and people should be telling these vermin to back off, rather than criticizing Katie. Maybe only then would the Paps behavior change.

Defap: If only Katie would do something like that, but like the previous poster said, getting camera time with her high fashion shoes seems to be more important.
I do not see the blanket as a big deal. I do not even care if the kid still carries a bottle.
She just looks so distressed. I know the paps hound Katie but still it seems like something could be done to protect the child more until she is older?
Katie obviously doesn’t know how to handle the situation. Her smile is as fake as possible.
But she should protect her kid better. I said this months ago: they are creating a characterly disturbed child.
