Agree with the inappropriate clothes in chilly weather. It’s no just this post–it’s all of them. Almost 3 yr. olds shouldn’t rule. Kids learn a sense of security and self-worth when limits are set. Plus they learn social skills, like fair-play and sharing, when allowed to mingle with other children. All the couture sundresses and designer mary janes that money can buy aren’t going to make Suri feel special. Without anything else, they’re simply going to make her feel odd. Sad.

Boogie there is no definitive answer as to whether cold weather and being cold increases the chance of catching a cold. Yes germsvirus are ultimately the cause of catching a cold, but, being cold has been argued to affect the lungs which allows germs to incubate more easily. There are a variety of articles that go back and forth on the subject and while many doctors say being cold has nothing to do with catching a cold…. more and more studies and articles are now being released that show that being cold(nasal cavity and lungs) both change and allow us to receive germs more easily. Some viruses survive and replicate better in cold weather. Also, there is a possibility that very cold weather could interrupt some of the lungs’ natural defenses against infection.

So with that being said, why take the chance. It has long been said by are parents and their parents that you should dress warmly or you will catch a cold…and now more scientific studies are coming out to prove that.

Outside of the cold issue, why allow your 2 year old to run the roost. Why not teach her that with different seasons there are different types of clothes you wear. AND that blanket needs to go as a replacement for proper clothing.

I think the best way to end this debate is to show pictures of regular kids of Suri’s age in NYC yesterday wearing atleast long sleeved clothing. Perhaps Suri doesnt feel cold at all.

By the way who are TomKat supporting this election?

I will not be surprise if in the winter time Suri still wearing a summer dress and while Tom and Katie wearing gloves and thick jacket or coat and boots…

okay, if the child has an issue with jackets, there is still something called “long sleeves” and I’m pretty sure dresses come with them.

I think they should have more pictures of Isabell and Connor with the family, like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, they all spend times with all of their kids everywhere they goes.

My baby sis hated socks growing up and her daugther didn’t like them either. My sister was always alert that my niece didn’t throw her shoes and socks off in stores and on streets. Many times someone would call her and hand a shoe and sock to her because my niece had decided 15 minutes with shoes and socks on was enough. The first thing they would do is take their shoes and socks off the minute they walked into the house. They still do this! There would be no way in hell that she would go out without socks and just her shoes in Autumn/Winter. I don’t give a toss what she said or wanted — she WAS wearing socks and that’s that!! If it’s a hot day, OK, but it’s getting cool in New York and a child should have socks on.

I gotta comment about these “fans” on this site. My God….I have never seen so many vile, nasty, ignorant, twisted, nasty people in my life.

One says they hope our “eyes bleed”. Another calls us and our children “nasty pigs”. Yet another posts responses to every single post attacking the people who disagree with him. Others are obviously the same person posting over and over again.

Get a frickin’ life FANATICS!! People are just sharing their very viable OPINIONS about a family that CHOOSES TO BE in the public eye. No body forced Cruise and Holmes to be actors. They do it and seek publicity because it helps their careers. They WANTED THIS AND THEY SEEK IT OUT.

Suri is underdressed. Deal with it. I don’t know why Cruise and Holmes do it, but it’s very strange. I live in NY and my kids were dressed for fall weather yesterday. So was every other child I saw. Deal with the fact that Suri is obviously shown off and used as a PR tool by her parents. Deal with the fact that she’s not a “great artist” (as some nutty fan describes her) but a 2 1/2 year old who likes to finger paint and scribble on paper. Deal with the fact that there is NO REASON to have insane fantasies about an actor and his family unless you require serious psychiatric help.

Oh and please stop with the “God Bless” nonsense. They don’t believe in God. They’re Scientologists. Why don’t you bless the soldiers in Iraq or the poor and homeless in the world. These are a could of freakish actors who contribute NOTHING TO SOCIETY.
