Hayden Christensen is a Healthy Hunk
Hayden Christensen leaves a Robeks Juice store in Los Angeles after buying a blended-fruit drink and yogurt with granola on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old actor is eating healthy to stay fit for his role in Bone Deep, which he is currently filming. He stars alongside Paul Walker, and the film is scheduled for a January 2010 release.
Last week it was announced that Christensen signed a three picture deal with Screen Gems.
“Hayden is a very talented and versatile actor with a proven worldwide box-office history,” Screen Gems president Doug Culpepper said.

I agree. She is a soul sucker. Why do guys stay with her? i bet she has her man wait on her hand and foot like a little princess. If all is true, Hayden did do it to himself. hopefully time away and meeting new people will wisen him up.
i miss seeing him all smiles and stuff. why dont his loved ones step in? they step in when he was smoking, so why not now? she seems more harmful than cigs!!

It was a sarcastic yet realistic remark. Though he’s not “yet” a lost cause, as there’s still some outside forces who still wants to help him like SG (no matter how would you looked at it).
But on a personal level, its looks like he “genuinely & only” got his family to back on but just cant do much either (as most of us here wont certainly count/trust those supposed-to-be intimate person/s that he met in the last 2 years for evident reason that w/ in that stage that had started his “miserable” condition).
It’s clearly is just goes to say, the help alert should not only come from others but mainly onto HIMSELF or even to “rise to the occasion” as one sound mind should supposed to do so. But in the past 2 years or so, he’s still been sitting or even lying down under the tree.
I dont think he is a lost cause. not at all. I think he is with the wrong person. But you cant control who you love. you may love someone who is so wrong for you but cant help it. I know this first hand.
Some people snap out of it, others dont. Lets hope for the best for him
Whether we like it or not, who the right person is for Hayden is for him to decide and obviously he sees some quality in Bilson that keeps him with her - it’s either a career/publicity thing, he thinks she’s pretty, he thinks she’s nice, she’s a good lay, whatever - most evidence suggests that they have been together for about a year and a half. He’s driving her car around LA, they travel together, etc…..just move on. If it’s not meant to be it will end soon enough.

As his parents (mostly the father it was said) interfered concerning his smoking he was like what? 16 or 17? Now he is 27, obviously not much wiser in many aspects but surely doesn’t listen to them as he once might have done (but yet e.g. smoking he never gave up, not even back then). Seems to be stubborn, the guy, even if some advises were actually good for him to follow.
As to your Bullrun-comment in #107, I totally agree. He seemed to love it, at least in 2005. 2006 he had some trouble with his car which kind of took some fun out of it I guess… and since he “has” Bilson he was obviously not allowed to join anymore. Gumball in Europe he even canceled, although Tove took part actually. Since Bilson has shown up he has started to become unreliable when it comes to keeping his appointments in general and has started to treat his fans really bad.
Still one cannot just blame Bilson, as it always takes two people, you know? He lets all this happen, so he is to blame as well. He is in charge of his own life, he’s more than old enough.

You are right: A person can only be helped if he/her wants it and allows it. Otherwise nothing will change, it’s only up to Hayden himself.

And the way observer spelled “Jumper” and “Factory Girl” was not a mistake but was very intended as far as I got it, and English is only my second language. “Junk” has an own meaning, you know, and is fitting quite well on this movie IMO too.

It was totally done on a “deliberate” manner. I actually cross upon that word “Junkper” through one of the movie reviews that Ive read into. And surely is, its just fits to a T. As of FG, cant say much more about it as I just simply “loathe” that movie - period. But then “to each his own”, isnt it?!

I would disagree that he treats his fans badly. By most accounts he’s very accommodating of fans, very polite, etc. He just has a bad habit of backing out of events, but out and about it’s not as though he verbally assaults autograph seekers. He just doesn’t provide daily updates of his private life on MySpace or to US Weekly. Big deal.

As an honest person myself I don’t like to be lied to all the time like he does recently or sold for stupid as his theater with Bilson is simply ridiculous and an affront against his fans. If he is together with this girl he shall stand to it. Period.
Nobody has asked him to deliver daily updates. But a few words from time to time would be nice, at least about a movie he is planning or other harmless things. Once he used to tell what music he liked, books he read etc. Now - nothing anymore. And how many people do have the luck to actually meet him in person? These days with internet and other media a so-called celebrity really would have enough possibilities to reach more people at once. No valid excuse IMO, sorry. And if he hates fans and publicity that much he’s in the wrong business. But the overpaid pay-checks it also includes he seems to enjoy. Nothing in life comes for free, you can’t have “the coin of five and the roll” as we say in German. ;-)
^Maybe he can be accused of treating his career carelessly, but he is in no way obligated to admit to a relationship with Rachel Bilson, no matter how many voices it would silence. If he chooses not to talk about it or just to be coy about it that’s his right. What we know about him as fans comes from interviews. That’s how we found out what books, music, etc. he likes. Since he hasn’t really worked in God knows how long, he hasn’t had to do an interview and why rehash what is already commonly known?
i dont think he hates his fans. he loves them. i think the crowds just overwhelms him. perhaps he has social phobia or anxiety. nothing wrong with that.

If you compare the posts for Jude Law, Natalie Portman, George Clooney, Scarlett Johannson and other A-list actors, with the posts on this thread and others posted to these two, you will conclude that Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are the trash of Hollywood.
#122, Darth Sidious where did you EVER get the stupid idea that Hayden loves his fans?! He’s repeated said that he doesn’t like any of them except the little kids that are into Star Wars and the girls/women creep him out, scare him, doesn’t like them at all. He blows off appearances, lies to his fans and lies to interviewers in magazines, and who knows if he ever told the truth to any interviewer at any time. Jamie Bell said that he was a talented liar in an interview around the time Jumper was released. I used to think that was kind of an odd thing to say. Now I understand why, after the crap he’s done over the last two years.
I don’t want to hear about him any more.

#123 You got that right, Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson are the trash of Hollywood. But Hayden is also carrion, his career is dead after the string of critical failures and the awful Jumper. Screen Gems is just feeding off his fame with that 3 picture deal, they are no better than vultures, but least they’re performing a public service by getting the roadkill off the pavement.
