OlderHeidi Montag’s Apology to Lauren Conrad
On Monday’s episode of The Hills, Heidi Montag penned an apology note to former BFF Lauren Conrad. Lauren’s coworker and pal Whitney Port, who’s getting her own spin-off series, read the note aloud:
“I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am about everything. I’m so sorry for every negative or hurtful comment I’ve ever said. That is not how I feel or who I am. I think you are a great person and I will always cherish our memories. Thank you for everything you have ever done for me. I really wish things hadn’t turned out this way but I take responsibility. This whole thing has also been really hard for me.
Sincerely, Heidi Montag”
Lauren basically says she can never be friends with Heidi as long as Heidi’s boyfriend Spencer Pratt is around. Later in the episode, Spencer gets angry after he finds out that Heidi apologized to Lauren without his knowing.

i think that Heidi was really cute for that, but she act sometimes like a real *****, and LC is really tired about that. How understand heidi God! Maybe if Heidi and Spencer split up, she can came back with LC and be friends, like in the past.

Heidi is a fake person, obviously by looking at her. She has no remorse for action. That is why Audrina and Lauren are feuding right now. Audrina admitted it today on Ellen. If she was sorry she wouldn’t have made the same mistake twice.

I deffinatley think heidi was very sincere, i just wish she would get rid of the ass hole boyfriend she has, he is tearing apart her friends and her family from her, i think that lauren also needs to realize how immature she is being about the whole thing,she should seriously grow UP :D

I actually think it was sincere but like Lauren said in the episode, Heidi can’t just come out and blame Spencer because she’s too loyal to him. WTF does the guy even do for a living besides mooch off her? He never leaves the house.
If she would just lose the zero, her and Lauren could be friends again. Spencer is the issue. He brainwashes Heidi’s mind to his liking and he doesn’t let her be her own person. She just needs to dump him already.
I’ve had a friend who didn’t approve of my boyfriend and I was in that same situation and didn’t want to see that my friend was right about the guy being a loser. And we stopped being friends for a while but after I saw what she did, I dumped him and went right back into my friendship.
I think it was sincere in the sense that, like both keep saying, you always miss a best friend. But it’s really difficult to view anything that Heidi and Spencer do as sincere when they already admitted that in the past, they created fights just for TV purposes. This could be one of those fake-arguments that was planned in advance, including the letter.
LC, doesn’t realize that Brody, Stephen, and Jason called her beefcakes and Spencer just repeated it. LC needs to cut her ties from Brody, but she always craves his presence.

I think Lauren and Heidi should be friends again.. This has been going on for too long, heidi has said sorry many times but for lauren its not good enough. They were best friends, they shouldnt let it ruin their friendship over a rumor. Everyone forgot about it so they should too. They should put this behind them and forgive each other and just be friends again.

I feel sorry for Heidi, she has done everything to try and get her friendship back on track with LC, and LC is being completely immature about the whole thing and just being mean to Heidi.
As other ppl have said and i have said before on past threads there is a reason that LC looses all her friends, it’s her because she is controlling and addicted to drama and brings everyone down.
And if she really did value her friendship with Heidi, you wouldn’t let a guy stand in the way, i have disliked friends boyfriends before, but i have stuck by my friends because i care about my friendship with them.

Lauren’s not being mean to Heidi. She’s already told Heidi that she forgives her, but she just can’t be friends with her. I don’t understand how people expect her to, after all the nasty things Speidi has said about her. I would never be able to trust someone after that, especially if they’re still with the person who *still* says nasty things whenever he gets a chance.
Lauren see that Heidi was sincere in her apoligize, but yes, she’s right with spencer, nobody can live. i feel really sorry about how spencer treat heidi in the end of the episode :/ holly try made heidi see that spencer is the problem, but heidi don’t understand this, because of him all her friends have gone. LC wants to be friends with heidi, i think. if spencer doesn’t appear in heidi’s life everything would be different

Oh please. Friendships die all the time - you are friends with someone for a period of your life, you change, they change - it’s nobody’s fault. Lauren is just honest about it - if it’s done, it’s done. She’s tried hard, but you have to call it a day sometimes.
In Heidi’s case, her relationship with Spencer is 100% to blame - but she CHOSE Spencer, so it says a lot about what she needs right now. He is VERY controlling of her - could you imagine anyone speaking to your mom like he spoke to Heidi’s mom? Has he heard of respect??
Heidi’s letter was sincere, but she’s being controlled and manipulated and doesn’t know what to do. I feel awful for her - it’s an abusive situation and she needs to get out. Someday she will and she’ll see how destructive this relationship has been to her and those who love her.
