And that is a story worth telling.

Ask any parent: traveling with children is no walk in the park. Yet Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt make their flying caravan of six kids – including 3-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne – look pretty darned easy.

Still, there is a downside to all this globetrotting.

“After the flight from Europe,” Jolie told the German edition of Vanity Fair, “we were all suffering a bit from jetlag. Although we went to bed early, [the kids] were up at 4:30 a.m. goofing around.”

After moving their brood from a chateau in the south of France to a palace in a park in Berlin, the family landed in New York last week for the premiere of her movie Changeling – then jetted back to France Wednesday.

Jolie, 33, admits to having an expert travel arranger: “Brad took care of things. He just said, ‘Go back to sleep, you have to work tomorrow,’ and then went to the living room with the kids. He’s an amazing father: totally devoted.”

The Challenge of Twins
Jolie calls caring for twins a challenge. “We’re exhausted a lot, because it’s twice as hard with two babies than with one,” she says. “But it’s twice as much fun, too.”

That means watching them interact. “When you look at them, it’s like they were made for each other,” she explains. “They smile at each other, sniff each other, touch each other. It’s just beautiful.”

Even at their tender ages, they are each displaying distinct temperaments. “They’re totally sweet. They already have completely different personalities. Knox is more the quiet one, very relaxed, while Viv is a little more aggressive and loud,” she says.

And as for the inevitable question, “It’s funny,” Jolie admits, “Knox looks more like Brad and Viv more like me.”

Inside the magazine, there are another 21 candid shots of the movie star.

No there is nothing gross or unnatural about breastfeeding - I have a problem with anyone who says otherwise. Angelina Jolie is obviously a beautiful and very photogenic person. It’s sad to me that this absolutely proves that nothing is sacred to her/them. I don’t care if it’s being done in the name of charity; your children don’t have a say in what you “share” with your adoring public. One day they might just care about that. This would be a beautiful photo for them to have in the privacy of their own home - not on a magazine cover.

However, I do believe they are taking and selling their children’s right to privacy away and that is a tragedy in itself. I hope they stop selling their children one day soon for the kids sake. If all they want is attention, there are much better and healthier ways of doing so.

1) These pictures were not sold. It’s a photoshot for the promotion of Changeling.

2) Their kids will be photografed whether they like it or not. Every time they go in street. This way at least they have controle over it.

To people who say they are media whores–There is a difference in generating publicity for yourself out of nothing, that’s a media ***** and accepting that people’s interest in you generates its own publicity and controlling that as best you can, thats being an international mega-star. Which they didn’t ask for when they got together. They were always HUGE and now together they’re something even larger that makes people rabid for them and about them in sick ways.

To people who say showing breastfeeding is disgusting or TMI or gross–Grow up. That’s all I’ve got. Breasts are not supposed to be sexualized and thought of as inappropriate. They are for the feeding of children. That is their biological purpose and that purpose doesn’t have to be covered up with a blanket so that your “shocked” and “childish” sensibilities can be protected.

While I’m at it–They can have as many children or adopt as many children as they want to–because they, at least, can afford them. Some people act as though they can’t possibly spend enough time with their children because there are so many of them but they don’t work 9 to 5 jobs and they are not alone, poor, or without help. They have the random hours or random days to lavish their children with the sort of attention regular kids with regular parents who work 8 or 9 or even 12 hour days only dream of.

Breastfeeding and tatoo–you can breastfeed even if you get a new tatoo they just tell you not to if your tatoo puts you at risk for Hep C and if you think Angelina Jolie is going to some bargin-basement shore-side tatoo parlour where she’s can be exposed to Hep C, instead of in the privacy of her home by a private artist with new and sterile equipment you are all out of your minds.

All of this hate boils down to three things–they’re extremely attractive, rich and happy and not afraid to show it because everyone will hound them and chase them if they don’t and that sort of happiness and honesty makes jealous self-aggrandizing people rabidly hateful. I personally can take or leave them both as they’re just celebrities but this sort of vitrol is just silly.

Instead of following the usual Bible format - lots of words but somewhat lacking in celebrity portraits - Swedish ad man Dag Soderberg has decided to repackage it in the style of Vogue.

Passages are written out in a magazine-style format and accompanied by striking images. Jolie’s picture is included alongside Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and U2 frontman Bono, to illustrate the importance of doing good deeds. They were selected after the publishers asked the Swedish public which famous figures in modern times represented goodness and compassion.

Jolie is a UN Goodwill Ambassador and noted humanitarian, donating millions of dollars to the poor through the charitable foundation that she set up with partner Brad Pitt.

Damn. This reminds me of an early ’80’s Time cover-shot with article inside of the first ever surgery done on a baby in the womb. I think an ultrasound showed an abnormality with the baby’s heart & if born with it, would not survive. So a surgeon suggested doing it pre-delivery. Because it was the FIRST time anyone attempting it, a Time {?] magazine photographer was assigned to record it.

Anyway, the surgery proceeded… the patient’s womb was opened & in 1 moment of time frozen forever in a photograph this little arm came out & the tiniest fingers I’ve ever seen latched onto the surgeon’s finger! That shot appeared on covers everywhere. I can’t remember much about the article… I’m pretty sure the surgery was a success, the baby was delivered naturally 2 or months later - healthy!

It’s times like this when I wish for an eidetic memory - I’d know almost instantly the date so I could go online & find it.

Maybe someone knows a better way of researching to find it….

Angelina Jolie has revealed that her relationship with partner Brad Pitt has had such a deep effect on her life, that his behavior influenced her to get pregnant, despite her intense support of adoption.

“I think one of the life changing things that he did, one of many, is that I was absolutely never going to get pregnant. I never felt that it was the right thing to do,” Angelina told W magazine for a new cover story, with photos shot by Brad. “Now I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world. It taught me a lot about life, just the process of it, and now we have three other beautiful children that wouldn’t otherwise be here.”

Angelina already had one child when she met Brad – Maddox, whom she adopted from Cambodia in 2002. And as her relationship with Brad began to evolve, she adopted her second child, Zahara, from Ethiopia in 2005.

Not long after bringing Zahara home, Pitt officially adopted both children, who received the Pitt-Jolie surname. And it was his love of the little boy and girl that swayed Angelina into getting pregnant.

“He stopped talking about having other kids in the other way,” Angelina said. “So I suppose in my heart I realized he was happy with them as his children, completely. I knew he would never see them as different, and that gave me a certain peace. Then I suppose I just looked at him and loved him and just felt open to [getting pregnant]. I suddenly wanted to. It’s one of those things you can’t explain.”

The W article, which features Angelina breastfeeding one of the couple’s newborn twins on the cover, also finds the actress talking about how she came to settle down with Brad.

“I do think that I’m in a good partnership now… I think it just needed to be the right man,” she said. “It’s not just that I love being in Brad’s company, which obviously I do, but it’s that we both roll up our sleeves and take on what we care about in the same way.

“I have a lot of respect for him, and he helps me to be better and fight hard for things that I love,” she added.

The actress, who this month stars in Clint Eastwood’s “Changeling,” said one reason the couple is regularly seen across the world with their brood, which now consists of six children and two dogs, is because they enjoy being together.

“We have such a big family, such a close family that we like being with each other a lot,” she said.

You seem a little dense. Even for a troll. Before Angelina became a magnet for real vitriol, not many Americans was familiar with who she was. A study was done showing the uptick in familiarity with Jolie going up from just 14% to over 80% int the last four years or so. That my dear was thanks to the people like you who the media caters to. If people like you didn’t click on news stories, blogs, and magazine sites with her face prominently featured she wouldn’t have gotten bigger and bigger. You being on this blog right now commenting on a simple picture and making a big deal about it proves my case.

The people at other sites like dlisted, perez, FF are also apart of her growing fame. When these blogs post a simple picture of her no matter how she is dressed, or how fuzzy the pictures are people like you who have a problem with her will comment. Now I don’t necessarily see it as a bad thing, because all this attention will move her into movie star icon so fast, its not even funny.

Actually the “fashion people” are hating it. You only have to go onto The Fashion Spot’s thread of this (and you actually have to work in the fashion industry and be invited to be a member and to post there) to see how unpopular it is. Everyone there thinks it is disgusting and not anything to do with fashion or art. As someone put it, the fact that Brad Pitt can hold a camera and push the shutter button does not make him a great artist or photographer. First Make It Right homes complete

NEW ORLEANS — The first homes in Brad Pitt’s Make It Right rebuilding project are complete, and some three years after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, grandmother Gloria Guy was on hand to give the actor a big hug.

Pitt, his partner Angelina Jolie and their family of six children toured the hard-hit Lower 9th Ward privately this week to see the homes close up. The couple bought a home in New Orleans about a year after Katrina struck and became involved in raising funds and launching the project to rebuild the city’s hardest-hit neighborhood.

“Honey, this is like heaven on earth,” Guy, 68, said from the porch of her Make It Right house painted a vivid mango yellow. She and five of her 22 grandchildren will be moving in later this month.

Guy is one of the first homeowners to get one of the 150 Make It Right homes that are to be built where levees broke after Katrina, unleashing floodwaters that knocked homes off their foundations.

Now her new home is set on concrete pilings eight feet above ground. Never mind that it’s surrounded by empty, grass-covered lots, some with only concrete steps leading to where a house used to stand. She couldn’t be more happy.

“I thank God for Brad Pitt,” she said, adding she spotted the actor when he made his rounds of the neighborhood on Monday and again Tuesday. “I gave him a big hug, and I told him how much I appreciate all that he’s done for me and my family.”
