OlderAngelina Jolie Breastfeeding — W Magazine Preview
And here it is! Angelina Jolie is seen breastfeeding one of her twins (Knox or Vivienne) on the November 2008 cover of W Magazine, as photographed by longtime partner Brad Pitt.
The mother-of-six was photographed in mid-August in the backyard of their French Chateau. All of the kids — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox — are said to appear in the spread, which hits stands on Oct. 21.
There’s also a new interview with Angie and director Clint Eastwood talking about their new movie, The Changeling, at MTV.com.
Parade also has a great interview where Angie talks about her ex-husbands: “I have two divorces behind me but I’m still good friends with both my exes, Billy Bob [Thorton] and Jonny Lee [Miller]. I’ve never had to deal with secrets from the men in my life because I’ve always married artists and they’re a very talkative and expressive bunch. I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Angie also talks about the twins to the German edition of Vanity Fair: “They’re totally sweet. They already have completely different personalities. Knox is more the quiet one, very relaxed, while Viv is a little more aggressive and loud. It’s funny. Knox looks more like Brad and Viv more like me.”

To be honest, this picture has made me teary eyed. It captures raw beauty of nursing.
This is beautiful and amazing pic. I am a nursing mother and a volunteer at Central Fl. Breastfeeding Center. I honestly wish more people felt this secure.
Nusing your child is a blessing and the most rewarding adventure I have experienced.

So she’s the first woman to ever breast feed her kids then?!!!…..what about all the mum’s who’ve been breast feeding their kids for years?
I wish Angelina would stop portraying herself as a supermum when she’s clearly only doing the things any mother who loves her kids would do.
The real supermums are those who cope with bringing up their kids without all the money and help she gets….the ones who have to juggle money so that they can feed their kids healthily and give them opportunities in life. People in her position have it easy..

Hey deborah, Angie never claimed to be a supermom. She’s doing her role as a mom to her children, and doing her best as she could. Angie doesn’t care of any title. She is not known as such kind of a person. She’s not vain. Her mother raised her very well to be a good mom herself.
If she is ever been called as supermom or whatever title there is, it is not Angie herself who portrays that to or for herself. It is the media. Blame the media, not her.
Of course, she’s not the first mom to breastfeed her children. She’s just Angelina Jolie giving the needs of her children the natural way through breastfeeding.
Why fault Angie if she has all the money & help in bringing up her children? Isn’t it if you have the means why will you not take it if this will unburden you?
Good for Angie, even if she has all the means and wealth, she is still a hands-on mother.
At the end of the day, it is the children who can really say if they are well taken care of by their mother. It’s not other people who in the first place have no business in other family’s life, who are not or live with the family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
I think its a beautifull picture and should be shown as a tribute to breastdeeding.

I have been a Brad Pitt fan forever. I hate Angie for breaking the Pitt/Aniston marriage but I have to admit, this picture is beautiful!

Brad & X’s marriage was already on the rocks several months before Brad & Angie even met to start shooting MAMS. They even spent away from each other mostly for a longer time. Please don’t convince yourself with the thinking that Angie was the reason why they broke up. Brad & X had issues that they couldn’t resolve or save the marriage. They have undergone counselling, “trial separation”, or other means just to save whatever is left of that marriage. Brad can only do so much. His effort is useless if X don’t compromise to make the best of their marriage. Brad got out of it while he has still respect for himself as well as for his ex-wife. If you are really Brad’s fan, you would think of his happiness more than anything else. Good for Brad, he waited for the divorce papers were filed before he find his true happiness and love. He deemed it proper to chase Angie only after his marriage to X was really over.

I don’t know if anyone said this already (don’t have time/patience to read more), but I need to clear this up. TRIX (post 125) doesn’t know what she’s talking about- women who have tattoos can breastfeed!

i will say feeding milk to child is mothers right because when she was child shes mother feeded the milk
I don’t know where anyone got the idea that pics of breastfeeding/pregnant women are “beautiful.” Its nasty. Only women thinks its beautiful. And as far as the trend of every freakin woman thinking its so lifefulfilling to just have kids, I think its sad. Ladies need to get lives. Kids aren’t the be all and end all. There’s enough people in the world already. It wouldn’t kill us to only have 3/4 of the female population have kids and the rest can do what they want. I don’t want a child as an accessory. And as for breastfeeding being “natural” and therefore “beautiful”, you know what, me taking a dump is just as natural but i don’t think anyone wants to see that.
