Jude Law is My Dear Watson
Jude Law leaves his home in London on Wednesday, sporting a mustache that he is growing for his new role in Sherlock Holmes.
The 35-year-old British actor was then spotted using his cell phone while driving his Mercedes.
Jude is currently filming for Sherlock Holmes, where he plays Dr. Watson. Robert Downey Jr. was cast as Sherlock Holmes, and Rachel McAdams as Irene Alder, a femme fatale.
Set in 1891, the film revolves around Holmes and Watson stopping a conspiracy to destroy Britain.

jared….thank you….thank you…..what a watson he’ll make. he changes his look with every role. long blonde hair for sleuth, curls for blueberry nights with nora jones. buzz haircut for his soon to be released film repossesion mambo.beard for cold mountain…blonde and gorgeous for alfie and i heart huckabees……a long time ago jude said he did not want to be labeled “a pretty boy” that he was a character actor and wanted to act into his 80’s like john gielgud…well he’s on his way.
robert downey and jude law…holmes and watson….what a combo. joel silver, the producer said this holmes will be james bond 1891…plenty of action and sexy….well in the dictionary the definition for sexy is jude law.

Jude always looks dashing and will be purrrfect for this role. MEOW!!! I’m really looking forward to this film with all the great actors involved. Would love to be in London right now, exploring the sights and hoping to see Jude. Dream, dream, land.

there will be swordplay and kung foo in this movie. rachel mcadams will be robert downey’s love interest and kelly reilly, a beeautiful red head will be jude’s gal…..guy ritchie’s directing……i really hope this will be a blockbuster…..it’s going to get a p g rating. of course, jude, in a love scene could get an r rating all by itself.

I feel very sorry for him that he got (and gets) his privacy invaded like he did then though. One thing is pictures from events and even also pap-pictures of him from the street when he’s alone - it’s something else when pictures are taken when he’s with his kids and/or doing something private - like taking a swim in his parents pool.

i saw him on the set of my blueberry nights in soho in new york….aug.1 2006….when crew member pointed him out to me, he was in the little cafe where he meets nora jones. when i first looked at him my eyes got blurry and a sort of paralysis set in….when he came into focus i thought i had never, ever seen a face or body like that., not inall my years.as handsome as he appears on the screen…he is more sexy and handsome in the flesh….i watched him through the glass window of the cafe, my nose pressed up against it to get a good look. jude spotted me watching him and stared back as if to say who is that….. let me tell…if you;ve never had jude law stare at you with those eyes you have not experienced heaven…they would only let me stay for a few minutes…but i had entered the gates of paradise….

I’m not a big fan of Jude, but he’s done some good stuff, and I think he and Downey should switch roles. I don’t see why Downey was picked to do Sherlock. He irks me for some reason.
