Taylor Swift & Joe Jonas Split

Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas called it quits earlier this month, Us Weekly reported earlier today.

The 19-year-old Jonas Brother apparently broke up with the 18-year-old teen country superstar over the phone in early October after dating for several months.

Says the insider: “He broke her heart.”

Her MySpace page even confirms this. Taylor crossed out the description of her prince charming, which seems to perfectly describe her ex-boyfriend:

“I’ve never been the kind of girl who needs a boyfriend. Plus, guys don’t ask me out because they know I’ll write songs about them. But I’m also the girl who still believes prince charming exists somewhere out there– ~~fully equipped with great hair and an immature sense of humor.~~”

Sounds like Joe is the reason for the teardrops on her guitar!

Gosh, he broke up with her on the phone? What a gentleman Joe… He could’ve broke up with her in person to give respect. He already knows he’s gonna break her heart and he plans to do it ON THE PHONE! Ok… Taylors a strong girl. Maybe she’ll just write a song about Joe.. >:)
