OlderTaylor Swift & Joe Jonas Split
Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas called it quits earlier this month, Us Weekly reported earlier today.
The 19-year-old Jonas Brother apparently broke up with the 18-year-old teen country superstar over the phone in early October after dating for several months.
Says the insider: “He broke her heart.”
Her MySpace page even confirms this. Taylor crossed out the description of her prince charming, which seems to perfectly describe her ex-boyfriend:
“I’ve never been the kind of girl who needs a boyfriend. Plus, guys don’t ask me out because they know I’ll write songs about them. But I’m also the girl who still believes prince charming exists somewhere out there– fully equipped with great hair and an immature sense of humor.”
Sounds like Joe is the reason for the teardrops on her guitar!

Honestly I think that people need to stop bashing Taylor Swift.
First of all if these rumors about their break up are even true, people shouldn’t just take sides. Esspecially if they don’t know what the reasons were behind the “break up”.
Secondly I think that both Taylor and Joe ( and his brother, ofcourse) are great musicians! They are talented and they seem like nice people! Taylor is pretty and that’s no lie. You may not like her music or the fact that she may/or may not have dated Joe, but you shouldn’t call her names! She does look good and I can say that totally unbiased. I don’t know her personally. By the way, why would she be using him for publicity if she has already sold probably millions of records and has been a Grammy nominee? Please people be logical!
Lastly, I don’t exactly like that Joe “supposably” dumped over the phone, but hey, who am I to judge. He has his reasons. We just don’t know them! People really shouldn’t judge him if they don’t know his reasons. Remember although they are famous, Taylor and Joe are entitled to their privacy just like anyone of us! If they have broken up, it would be hard on both of them! Besides they are teens and also live normal lives!
I really like Joe, he’s amazing and I like Taylor! I hope that the two of them just continue making good music and keep on doing what is right for them!

Ok, for ppl saying it’s the end of the world, when you break up with a guy, your not gonna be strong. Obviously, you’ve NEVER been in a relationship. I have and when my first ever BF broke up with me, it hurt alot. It wasn’t on the phone and on the phone it’s worse. MUCH worse. Maybe Joe was overseas, but breaking up with someone can wait. Its not like he’ll die if doesn’t do it right that minute. Don’t be partial. THINK about it. Forget he’s Joe Jonas for a sec and think.

Look at the picture. He wasn’t into her at all. The body language shows it. She’s leaning into him. His posture is angled almost away from her, like he wants the picture to reflect that they’re just friends. A picture says a thousand words!!
