Taylor Swift & Joe Jonas Split

Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas called it quits earlier this month, Us Weekly reported earlier today.

The 19-year-old Jonas Brother apparently broke up with the 18-year-old teen country superstar over the phone in early October after dating for several months.

Says the insider: “He broke her heart.”

Her MySpace page even confirms this. Taylor crossed out the description of her prince charming, which seems to perfectly describe her ex-boyfriend:

“I’ve never been the kind of girl who needs a boyfriend. Plus, guys don’t ask me out because they know I’ll write songs about them. But I’m also the girl who still believes prince charming exists somewhere out there– ~~fully equipped with great hair and an immature sense of humor.~~”

Sounds like Joe is the reason for the teardrops on her guitar!

Joe must have had a good reason for breaking up with her. I don’t think he’s the kind of guy to purposely hurt someone that he cares about. And yeah people, of course he did it on the phone, most of their relationship has been–those boys are super busy and don’t have the luxury of driving to their girlfriend’s house everytime they’re having relationship trouble. Besides, aren’t they in Europe right now???

I don’t think they made a very good couple… it sounds weird, but you can just kind of tell that they didn’t. I think Joe was the first to realize it and take care of it before one of them was really hurt. Of course Taylor is hurt now, (kinda mean to say this but) it’s an oppurtunity for her to write another song and for her to realize she doesn’t need him.

OMG they’ve done it again! Srewed yet another pretty girl! I guess Selena is next. I knew they were to good to be true. And good looking genteman such as Joe can screw a girl in a minute! Joe did the RIGHT thing– if reports are true that Taylor was falling in love with him and he knew she was not the right one or it wasn’t the right time. But I do feel sorry for her because lots of us fans are in love with Joe and know how much that hurts by itself, so for her to be that close to him and lose him, must feel awful. But she’s beautiful, nice and talented and sometime she will find the right one – and so will he..
