Sorry Nicole. US Magazine took the German translation TOTALLY out of context, and as anyone can see, took that other translated statement and did NOT even put it into context. It is very deceptive. I would take NO stock in the Janice MIN US ragazine version of the translation, they seemed afraid to put it into context and deliberately wanted to make it appear as if she was still on the fence - yet in the article it’s very clear she is most likely voting Obama. There are NO caveats. Angelina believes in people making and coming to THEIR OWN conclusions. I think she thinks it’s an abuse of celebrity power to say vote for this person because I am. PLUS, I think many of the people who soooo need to know who Angelina is voting for, should also realize, there are at LEAST 8 other people on the ticket BESIDES Obama, McCain. I grew up in a church that was really homophobic and I am far from that. I have friends who are in jail but that don’t make me a criminal in fact I have never had any trouble with the law. If you take almost anyone in politic you will be able to find a connection with “bad people” but that don’t make them bad. Do not make your choose about a person because of who they are or were friends with let it be about the person and who they are. A word of caution you/me #169, that entire passage is US ragazine’s take and characterization of what Angelina said. Notice how the phrase “reason enough to vote for him,” is in quotes, and the word *isn’t*…well, is NOT. They’ve taken that one phrase and have not given us the context it’s being said in, nor do they give us the rest of what she said, before or after that.

This is from the GERMAN Vanity Fair, so until someone who can translate German and who has read the article weighs in, I’d advise you not to believe their ‘take.’

The paragraph they quote is believable where AJ ticks off what Obama is for, but that little floating isn’t “reason enough to vote for him.” may not be…she could just as easily have said ONLY the quoted part: as in, that IS “reason enough to vote for him.”

It’s US rag, don’t get excited. I believe they can translate German correctly like I believe Janice Min can translate the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Kristian, Angelina is a very dedicated humanitarian. So is Cindy Mc Cain. That won’t change based on who she will vote for which is not clear. I support both woman regardless of the election results.

NO!! NO!!!

This was a false item planted by the X’er and Huvane. IMDB prints wrong info all the time. It is not reliable.

No way VV would get less than her. Remember VV used her for the publicity as it was VV’S PRODUCTION COMPANY AND SHE HELPED HIM MAKE $$$. VV has several new movies he is cast in and the X’er is not in any of them.

This lie was thrown out because the only role she has lately is the 30 Rock guest spot, and she and Huvane are trolling for a role for her. Tina Fay is very smart and used her to get more viewers for 30 Rock like she has used lots of guests on that show.

Problem for the X’er is that neither Management or Traveller has a distributor, and she has not one project at her supposed production company that has been greenlit (funded).

Being a tab pity sob queen is not opening the door to movie roles or funding it seems. I am surprised as she has been seen with several producers. Maybe if she would put up some of her own money as seed money she could get things going. But one of her characteristics cited by many is that she will not venture outside her comfort zone and does the same thing over and over.

X’er is going to promote the hel* out of the dog movie. Look for her to be everywhere in December.

That is true! I didn’t know, until I saw the part about McCain’s wife during the convention that she has made about 50 humanitarian trips, has started many medical support programs (I must watch that tape again), is a pilot, and also brought a Bangladeshi orphan home from Mother Theresa’s orphanage. They call her Bridget, and she is now 17. So yes, Angie is very much like Cindy McCain. In fact, I think her father said it too.

I didn’t like the picture quality. The few pix I saw they were cute because of the subject but I think a better photographer could have made the same pix look better. I’m sure he’ll probably get his ass kissed for the pix but It would have been cute if he went with it as a father taking snaps of his kids and lady but instead he took it too far by trying to make it extremely arty . Chelsea Lately was just talking about the “W” pics and talked about how beautiful Angie is and that how can anyone not want to have Brad Pitt’s baby in reference to what Angie said in the article about why she decided to have Brad’s baby. She also said that the article says that Angie is helping Maddox collect antique daggers. Chelsea then said that this might not be good, just think about it, Maddox was the only child for a while and all of a sudden you have 5 other siblings! He might get pissed off one day. The most interesting fact about this Alaska probe is that it started before the vp selection and a bipartisan group consisting of more republicans than democrat led the way for the investigation. The final decission was determined by a panel of 12 republicans and 4 democrats. Now I wonder why? I can’t help but feel that Brad is pimping her and her children for his own gain and once again Angelina will be left holding the bag while he gets off scot free.

My main issue as to why I don’t care for him is because he never defended her at the outset of their relationship. Instead of coming out and stating strongly that a marriage breaks down due to the 2 individuals in it, and not a third party, he gave Diane Sawyer that lame a$$ “it’s a good story” answer when she asked him point blank if Angelina was a home wrecker. That was the wussiest line ever. Especially since HE was the one who PURSUED her.

I will watch Changeling because I support her as an extremely talented actress. I hope the movie does well but I’m not holding out much hope for it. I did notice in the trailers on t.v, it is being marketed as a Clint Eastwood film and Angelina name is not mentioned at all.

As a fan, I am saddened that this Brangelina thing has sprouted into this seven headed beast and is being perpetuated by some of their more rabid fans who only want to see Angelina as part of this rabid monster.

My take on the Angie’s breastfeeding W magazine cover is she wants to use her celebrity status to convey the message that breast milk is still best for babies. Considering the milk scare nowadays due to the melamine content or contamination in most countries, her promoting breastfeeding, is very timely. She also wants to share her experience in the beauty of motherhood in nursing her baby. Love…. Connection…. Tenderness…. Serenity…. Happiness….That it is alright to sacrifice for your baby and still put a smile on your face even if you look tired. Angie is tired but in a very good way. That’s what a mother is…that’s what she wants us to know in a visual way. in spite of her celebrity status and sexy image, she is saying she’s just like any other women who rather prefer to give her children their needs the natural way as much as she can. And what a joy the experience gives her.

I think the reason why they decide to do this cover is that they want to show the world that they can be also in control of what comes out in the publication. They want to counteract the fabricated things which the tabloids are constantly selling in their magazines at the expense of this admirable couple. The couple deemed it wise to balance the false stories about them by coming up with a very noble idea, that is by promoting breastfeeding and at the same time the love in the JPs family. And I laud them for that.

The photo, taken by Jolie’s partner Brad Pitt, will adorn the November issue of W magazine.

Other family pictures taken by Pitt in the weeks after the birth in July of twins Vivienne Marcheline and Leon Knox will appear inside.

“I think it is fabulous. Seeing a celebrity like Angelina Jolie breast-feed can be a role model to encourage women to make a choice that is wonderful for their baby,” said Andi Silverman, mom of two and author of Mama Knows Breast.

“Breasts are used to sell all sorts of products, so to see them used the way nature intended can only be a great thing,” Silverman said.

But that was a generation ago, and Jolie’s global influence as a style-setter and through her humanitarian travels and support of kids in third world countries, ensured the impact of the photo of her special moments with her baby.

“The response from moms we have seen is that if someone as popular, beautiful and together as Angelina is breast-feeding her children, it inspires other women to do so themselves,” said Dr Shannon Fox, a psychotherapist with the Momlogic website.

Little is seen in the picture of the act of breast-feeding. It shows Jolie smiling, while a tiny hand is just visible at bottom of the frame.

According to Nola.com, the first half-dozen houses built by Brad Pitt’s Make It Right NOLA foundation are now complete — giving some thankful residents their first true homes in almost three years. 68-year-old grandmother Gloria Guy was one of those moving in and had nothing but praise for Pitt and the organization. “I thank God for Brad Pitt,” Guy said Thursday when reporters toured the first six homes Pitt and family visited on Monday and Tuesday. “I gave him a big hug, and I told him how much I appreciate all that he’s done for me and my family.”

Some of you may be tired of my fascination with this project, but to me, it’s a true representation of the power of celebrity to help those in need. These first six homes are but a fraction of the 150 planned for the Lower 9th Ward — all green, sustainable, and built to withstand winds in excess of 130mph. In other words, it’s housing as it should be for this part of the country. I find it incredible that three years later — it’s Pitt and company leading the charge on something like this and not the U.S. government. How is that possible?
