Angelina Jolie reveals in the new issue of W Magazine that she had only planned on adopting children but after falling in love with Brad Pitt, he changed her mind.
Here are some quotes from the mag via People:
On Brad changing her mind about giving birth to her own children: “I think one of the life changing things that he did, one of many, is that I was absolutely never going to get pregnant. I never felt that it was the right thing to do… I suppose I just looked at him and loved him and just felt open to (getting pregnant). I suddenly wanted to. It’s one of those things you can’t explain.”
On Brad seeing adopted children Maddox and Zahara: “I knew that he would never see them as different, and that gave me a certain peace.”
On having three children with Brad: “I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world. It taught me a lot about life, just the process of it, and now we have three other beautiful children that wouldn’t otherwise be here.”
On baring her body for the intimate W pics taken by Brad just weeks after the twins’ birth: “I’m with a man who’s evolved enough to look at my body and see it as more beautiful, because of the journey it has taken and what it has created. He genuinely sees it that way. So I genuinely feel even sexier.”
On Brad being perfect for her: “[I have] a lot of respect [for Brad. He helps me] to be better and fight hard for the things that I love. I do think that I’m in a good partnership now. I think it just needed to be the right man.”

Who cares how their relationship began? They´re were sooo meant to be together. And besides I remember reading somewhere that Maddox was a big indicator in bringing his parents together. He wanted to have a father although Angie never thought he (Mad) would get a dad. Now he and his siblings have a loving father and mother who love them very much. Forget BBT and especially Jennifer Aniston. Those two are history for AJ and BP. They´re together forever and have a beautiful family!
Don’t understand why Angie deciding on having a child biologically is such big news NOW? Is it because of the pic on “W” with her breastfeeding one of the twins? She has said in the PAST after she had Shiloh the exact same thing and a big ruckus was not made of it. I have read it in several of her interviews, that after she saw how Brad loved Mad and Z that she knew that he would not treat them differently so she agreed to get pregnant. Now that she is saying it again in the “W” interview, it’s big news. Even my small local newspaper in Corpus Christi, Texas has it on the second page, “Jolie credits Pitt for pregnancy decision”. I love Angie and Brad but don’t think that is headline news. The media is crazy. It is posted in the top portion of the paper of the second page with a picture of Angie, listen to this (lol) above “Duct tape designs stick with her fans”, Robbins get star on the Walk of Fame” and “Lisa Marie Presley gives birth to twin girls” It just goes to show how much power media wise Angelina and Brad has, especially to get on second page of a paper(small as it may be) posting an article about her decision to get pregnant.
I love Angie and Brad, but think our media need to focus on what is really news. Trolls can fool themselves in thinking that Angie and Brad are not popular but this goes to show that many are interested in reading about them. It even surprises me on how news worthy they are. I bet it surprises Angie and Brad! I wonder if they knew they would get this much press from the pictures, which have not even come out yet! You never know, it might be “W” magazine’s pr people pushing this, so they can sell magazines. Most of the stores here only carry max 3-5 of the magazine. Which means I need to get out there as soon as it comes out. HEB grocery and Walmart stores carry it and there are a lot of them in Corpus.
Hope all of this press does not squash any of her chances of getting a nomination for an Oscar. I was not even going to think about Angie being nominated for I have read that they play games in HW and I know that getting an award is not important to her. I guess only someone that works in the business would know why all the media blast is happening now. It might be pr for the upcoming movie “The Changeling”. Who knows, it might be a ploy to pollute the media with news about Jolie so that she will not be nominated by the Academy due to being in the news and tabloids too much, rather then looking at her true talents. Who knows, I don’t, and hope that I am probably wrong. But this happened last year with “AMH” which I feel she was slighted, she should have at least been nominated, she was nominated for all the other awards and then someone esle Laura Linney was nominated out of the blue. The same happened to Brad for “Babel”, he was nominated up to the Academy awards and then out of the blue Mark Walberg was added. I just think that HW politics are involved when it comes to the Academy awards. They both were on the pre-nomination panel right before the nominations and did not get nominated. Hope that does not happen this year.
As for their former marriages, lives etc, lets let a dead dog stay dead. I am so tired of reading about Jen and BBT in regard to Angie and Brad. Most of the time half of the posts has something to do with Jen “X”. Can we move on into 2008.
I read in an interview from another celeb that an veteran actor told them that when you are on top that there are those that will keep trying to bring you down. I hope a time will come that Angie and Brad are not the main story. I want Jen to find a new love and visit Mehico and put on a tiny bikini and show off her assets again. This will take some of the media attention off of Angie and Brad. Although I DO like seeing pictures of them and their family and reading about what is happening in their lives. I love reading Angie’s interviews and hearing her speak when interview. I feel that the media tends to go to the extreme and put a twist on everything.
Angelina is so intelligent and attractive. She is radiates beauty and class although she is down to earth. Her mom did a good job in raising her. Although she went through those turbolent earlyl years, she has such graceful movements in the way she presents herself. Guess that is from modeling? Don’t know but she has IT! Clint Eastwood said it when he said she had the beauty and charisma of the stars in the past!
I love when Angie gives interviews and pics when promoting her movies. She is a great talker and has no problem with any questions directed at her. Angie and Brad have millions of fans and we love getting the latest news . With her and Brad being out of the limelight for 5 mos it’s really great reading what’s new on the homefront. And last like all JP fans i can’t wait for the W mag to come to my city as well as the movie Changeling. Shortly thereafter will be Brad’s TCCOBB. So there is lots ahead for us to see.

What people are you Americans! To be in panic about the cover of the new W magazin! I just read in my gmx news that a lot of you Americans are in a rage because of the very nice picture of Angelina with her left breast and the very small hand of one of her little ones! As a German I cannot understand those negative behaviours! What is more natural as a mother giving her baby the breast?? Here in Germany you would not be accused of feeding your baby by your own breast! I’m the mother of two daughters and I fed them everytime when it was necessary: in the coffee shop, in the train and so on and no one didn’t say any word against it! So I think Germany is more devoted to freedom and nature than America, or am I wrong?
As a FAN of AJ & BP, my only comment on this ongoing saga with JA is — like many people/women she got caught up in wanting a file career (before having kids). Since BP already had success in his film career, he was ready to have kids.
With AJ, she never was a TV actor …like BP, she too had fulfilled the film making bug, and wanted children.
Like anyone (married, single or divorced) it’s that common bond that draws you together with someone with your same desires in life.
Based on, the limited success JA has had in films– combined with the high number of celebs having babies in the past three-four years…I’m sure she regrets her decision to put her career before having children.
For all you AJ & BP haters — grow up and get over the fact that ALL of these peolpe have moved on in thier lies.
Unfortunately, JA has not been as successful in finding a loving/lasting relationship like the Jolie-Pitt’s have accomplished.

There is hardly a more peace- and hopeful motive on earth. A mother feeding a new life.
And there is hardly a more beautiful feeling as to be able to give a new life all that it needs: love, care and food - all in one.

To say a gaze at a nursing mother ( even if she is as prominent as A. Jolie ) is voyeuristic shows only how perverted and bigoted society may be.

Tarantino shoots with Brad Pitt in Staaken - caravan park for the film crew

I have never agreed with what transpired during the scandal of Jolie and Pitt, being unfaithful to someone who really loved him, and for a while truly thought that she would do Pitt the same way she did all of her co-stars, link-up with the next one, and he would have given up what was surely someone who was so deeply in love with him (of course Aniston is who I am speaking of) However, Knowing that by nature, when a woman is in love with a man, she instinctively desires to bear his children, which makes them more as one. It would appear that Jolie does love Pitt very Much.
I am a long way from being a fan of the things Jolie had hurt others with, and influences she has succumed to, as when she made the statement on an interview a few years back, when asked how much of the character she portrayed in “Girl Interrupted” she replied, “More than I care to admit.” And she has not forgiven her father for talking about her adoption of Maddox, which if she was angry, it is understandable, but doesn’t holding a grudge about something people were bound to know anyway, constitute a little mental disturbance?
I also found it quite odd that, she made a statement at the Oscar award’s a few years back, stating “I am SO in Love with my brother right now,” and it seemed there was more than met the eye, when she kissed him full and deeply on the lips, only to see Pitt, sporting the same haircut and dye job as her brother, what was that about? Is he so Much like her brother in physical appearance, looks, and build, that it gives one pause to think.
I find she is an accomplished actress, I would be lying, if I said different, and as I said it does appear she is the one with the instinct of falling in love, as she claimed it was something she could not explain, it is a phenomena most women have, which is why people who are unable to have natural children suffer so, until they finally decide to go a different route if at all. But, I have to wonder, How long is this going to last, before she decides she wants to have children with a whole other co-star, perhaps another woman again? as she fell for her co-starring female in one of her forgettable movies, where she played a lesbian supermodel, this is some sort of sociopathic behavior, and I have to feel badly for Pitt, when it rears it’s ugly head again.
She spirited Billy-Bob Thornton away from Laura Dern, daughter of actor’s Diane Ladd and Bruce Dern. She was on location shooting a movie with Nicholas Cage, when she returned, only to find as she said “My Fiance’ had gotten married without me!” Also, I have to ask as well, when is it time to forgive your father? well, considering he did not make any cruel statements, and was proud to be a new grandpa, forgiveness should have happened a long time ago. I am sure many people have had much worse happen to them.
I also think her work as a United Nations ambassador, is contrived to bring publicity to herself. Although I have no doubt she loves her children, I do believe that she contrived that as well, to make her look like america’s sweetheart, too bad that position is held by her arch-rival, Jennifer Aniston, who put it well, after Katrina had left many homeless, and she was one of the 1st to be on the celebrity fund raising special, to help out the parts of Louisiana that were devastated, she said on that impromtu special, “There are children, right here in out own country who are now without benefit of having their parents any longer, so let’s not forget, that we need help for the children right here, and right now” (I paraphrase).
I see Jolie, as the modern day Joan Crawford, who adopted her children as a publicity jolt, we now have this generation’s MOMMIE DEAREST. And that is how I feel about the whole mumbo-jumbo, mess. History will repeat itself, just as Angelina had proven time, and time again.
