CosmoGirl Folds!!!

CosmoGirl Folds!!!

Hearst Magazines’s CosmoGirl is being shut down, reports WWD.

The teenage spin-off of Cosmopolitan, which targeted teenage girls and featured fashion and celebrities, will finish off with its December issue. (Scarlett Johansson was just featured on its November 2008 cover.)

CosmoGirl’s subscriber base will be folded into fellow Hearst title Seventeen.

Editor in chief Susan Schulz will be “staying on at Hearst to work on special projects.”

All of these poor teen titles!

I like this magazine but I like Seventeen and Teen Vogue more

oh ****. I DID like it =( &i don’t like seventeen. nor teenvogue.

OMG NO.
i just subscribed 3 months ago.
:(

And I am already a Seventeen subscriber.
I guess I need to subscribe to Teen Vogue.

BUT THIS IS SO SAD.
:[

omg wtf???

this is so sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW! i cant believe it…
… ill miss u soooo much, noooooooooooooooooo!

i’m really annoyed with this..
cosmogirl has a way better layout than seventeen and teenvogue.
plus the whole thing is about more than clothes ang guys. It’s a little bit of teenage life in a magazine.
seventeen is hair and guys. cosmogirl was all about self-respect, safe sex, and sisterhood.
disappointing…
=(
