OlderSigourney Weaver is “Incensed by Sarah Palin”
Sigourney Weaver, who guest stars on the Season 2 premiere of Eli Stone as Eli’s therapist, tells TV Guide, “The idea that they would be so bold as to create a show about faith was very exciting.”
She adds, “I’m not big on organized religion, but I wanted to convert to Judaism for a while. I went and lived on a kibbutz in Israel, but it was so lame because it was very conservative and all the women worked in the kitchen. It wasn’t a bunch of us out in the fields picking oranges and singing the way I had hoped, you know?”
On her new role as Eli’s therapist, she says, “I actually have a therapist. She’s very smart and we try not to talk about politics because we’re both incensed about Sarah Palin.”
Diddy would approve this message.
Eli Stone premieres this Tuesday, October 14th @ 10PM ET/PT on ABC. Katie Holmes’s will be featured the week after on Oct. 21.

Here we go again! people just love Sara Palin! well,the truth is she sucks! John Mc Cain and Sara are both rich! so they are going to always help the rich! At least Obama cares about the people that work really hard for what they have! People are losing their jobs,their homes! Bush hasn’t once cared about those people or for making sure people have affordable health care! and anyone that LOVES Sara Palin must be rich themselves! Oh,what does everyone think about the $150,000 she recieved for clothes for her and her family! The working class could probably live on that kind of money for 2 years!
I think of Sarah Palin as a modern-day ‘Unsinkable Molly Brown’. Even though I believe, as does Gloria Steinum, that she’s the ‘wrong woman, wrong message’, I also believe that we should be grateful to the women’s movement for allowing women to have greater access to the political scene and to be able to speak about their values, ethics and ideas freely on a national level. Sarah Palin doesn’t ‘get it’ yet…maybe with further education and enlightenment about women’s issues, she someday will. There are many women out there who strongly agree with her on several important issues related specifically to women. That just means that the rest of us need to work harder to raise awareness and offer people more of those ‘aha’ moments where the light bulb goes on and they are awakened to the possibility of new concepts and ideas.
Sigourney, if you ever read this, I sincerely hope that you will someday run for public office and turn your ‘incensed’ feelings into positive change. (Hey, if Arnold can do it…) I think Sarah Palin was chosen mostly because she’s a woman, and the McCain people are condescending enough to think that we women will vote for her just because she’s a woman. Well, they are in for a BIG surprise next Tuesday!!! Get out there and VOTE!
Sarah Palin has a 82% approval rating in Alaska . but the Hollywood ****** still think they know everything. The light she radiates exposes their dark and evil ways. Thats why they hate her.
Weaver has a small mind, as do most of those who have commented to this blabber!
