Happy Birthday, Hugh Jackman!
Hugh Jackman celebrates his 40th birthday with wife Deborra-Lee Furness at the Royal Motorboat Club at Point Piper on Saturday in Sydney, Australia. (The Australian Girls Choir sang Happy Birthday to a the birthday boy.)
Joining the couple was Hugh’s former longtime assistant and producer John Palermo. They are now business partners in the production company, Seed Productions, which worked on the upcoming, much-anticipated film X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Earlier in the day, Hugh and Deborra-Lee spent some time at Bronte Park with their daughter Ava Eliot, 3.

why should he dump the wife? the rumors down here in sydney australia are NOT THAT HUGH IS GAY BUT RATHER HE IS BI-SEXUAL.. He has always played both sides; so to speak . he is happy with his wife and with his “friend”. hugh has an active romantic relationship with both of these two people -the wife and the friend. it apparently works very well. hugh spends equal time with both deborra-lee and the friend. it’s all very adult; why break up something that is working.

Hugh and John Palermo were “together” when Hugh was on Broadway. John used to hang out at the stage door until the New York papers printed that they were an “item”. He made himself scarce after that.
That John guy is his BF. Stories of them are always in blind items. Hugh is sexy. Glad he’s bating for my team.
Hugh and John are the worst kept secret in Hollywood. John was Bryan Singer’s personal assistant and left him for Hugh.

i had a very long conversation with some people here in sydney who know hugh better than most the other day. these people all say the same thing: “we all know that hugh plays on both sides of the fence”.

ok so his wife is the not the most attractive woman in the world. but for the record hugh is not the only celebrity not to marry a beautiful woman. i mean, look at the woman that daniel craig has. she’s not the most attractive but there she is. and then there’s the woman pierce brosnan is married to.
everytime a picture of her shows up on this site all the attacks begin. the point here is that these three men have, for whatever reason, chosen to remain with these women. it’s not like these men dont have the ability to find more physically attractive women; they do. we can try to figure out why but at the end of day our opinions really dont matter.

martha, it’s not jared’s job to “protect” all these stars.
it’s called freedom of speech for those who visit and post on this celebrity site. if jared censored all the so called “negative” comments then many would stop visiting his site.
that would mean less posts which would mean less advertising $ in jared’s pocket. jared is looking out for jared.
jared does delete comments that are really vile, vicious (especially towards celebrities’ children) or racist. that is a fact.
but he doesn’t delete posters’ comments simply because some people may view them as negative because after all every one has their own opinion and the right to express it.

I think Deborra-Lee Furness is beautiful inside and out. She has depth, personality and intelligence. She is not another plastic commodity, like we’re all used to seeing in Hollywood. She’s a real woman, keeping it real, and that’s why a lot of people admire her.

I don’t think his wife is that bad looking. She simply looks her age which is something we aren’t used to seeing in Hollywood thanks to botox. I do think she would benefit from a better wardrobe though. I think she would look much more attractive if she ditched the platinum blonde hair and wore some color, and did shapes that flattered her body better.
Anyways… off my fashion soapbox… I’m glad that Hugh seems to have picked her for who she is. In Hollywood we see men constantly leaving their wives for someone younger, or more attractive, and maybe he just truly loves her for who she is. That only makes him even more sexy.
Huge Jackman is one of the ugliest men I have ever seen. He makes me cringe. He looks like a wino. He always looks greasy and unkempt. Doesn’t he ever wash his hair or shave???
