OlderAngelina Jolie’s W Magazine Photo Spread Revealed
W Magazine has published a bunch of the photos of Angelina Jolie and the kids, as photographed by longtime partner Brad Pitt. You can view them at WMagazine.com. (You have to click through the eight slides in the Flash slideshow.) Here are some choice excerpts from the cover article:
– Every family has its unique rites of passage, those generational milestones that mark a child’s growth and remind parents of their own similar experiences, years earlier. In the Jolie-Pitt household, one such event is the day a kid begins collecting daggers. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s seven-year-old son, Maddox, like many boys his age, has lately developed a fondness for guns and knives, and Jolie proudly notes that the predilection runs in the family. “My mom took me to buy my first daggers when I was 11 or 12,” she recalls. “And I’ve already bought Maddox some things. We take him to a special shop.” She emphasizes that the knife blades are dulled so they’re not dangerous, and that the purchases are accompanied by discussions about violence. But, she says, “we also talk about samurais and about the idea of defending someone as good. We talk about everything.”
– If Jolie has a favorite possession, she says, it’s the overstuffed Tumi case that holds the family’s travel documents: Vietnamese, Namibian, Ethiopian, French and American passports, plus her own UN credentials.
– The Jolie-Pitt bedroom, of course, remains off-limits to journalists. And sometimes even to kids, Jolie declares. “The kids do knock before entering,” she says. “We’ve at least got that part down. Because Mommy and Daddy need some space.”

She is absolutely beautiful and happy. Brad is certainly her ideal man and it is obvious that they are doing just fine. Just two parents with demanding careers, in a partnershipt with six beautiful children. God Bless the Jolie Pitts.

Matt - Whne you saw the script as a mother, what did you think?
AJ- When I started reading I couldn’t put it down but as a mother I closed it, I couldn’t bear to think of it.
(Matt interrupts her with his own fear)
AJ - There is something heroic about this woman, the way she changed the law. I felt compelled to tell the story
Matt asked her how she connects to characters where she wears little make up, AJ laughed and said she wants to be an actress rather than someone who like to get their hair and make up done.
Oooooh! Matt had a Gotcha question - Does she feel hampered by her Beauty? Feel she has to prove herself every time she gets into character? He read Clint Eastwood’s words about having such a great face and she answers that she doesn’t think that way, she is flattered but people’s perception will only hamper her role!!

Just finished looking at the interview. I think Matt did a better job then Ann. He allowed her to talk. She looked really beautiful and so well spoken. The cream dress was perfect. It made her appearance more light. Think this was a good choice considering the seriousness of the movie.
She is such a beautiful person!
Wow, she was just so beautiful, earnest and sncere. I’m glad Matt asked about the “more children” aspect, they will definitely add more. I don’t know how they manage it, but more power to them!
And it’s good that she also gave that answer about not particularly settling down anywhere but will continue to travel. I imagine this will give those haters even more reason to criticize her. And she doesn’t care. Love love love her for it!

She also likes being with Pitt, she said, when reminded of a quote some years ago in which she declared she was better off on her own. “I met the right person,” she told Lauer on Thursday. “I don’t like being without him.”

It was wonderful seeing Angelina back in the Big Apple again. She looked great and the interview was much better than with that Ann Curry.

You know, f*ck People magazine (’Angelina Already Thinking of Another Adoption’)…the interview was about THE MOVIE, why for the love of God, do they ALWAYS have to scan through her entire interviews about her films and pick out the same sh*t..I’m f**king FED UP…they have told people for the past 4 years they want a lot of kids, and they said they will have them bio and adopt - angie has even specifically stated WHY she wanted to adopt and what parts of the world they may come from - she has said the same thing when asked for the past 4 years. STOP asking. More importantly, stop making that the focus, when you know it’s not news. they’re such idiots.
