OlderAngelina Jolie’s W Magazine Photo Spread Revealed
W Magazine has published a bunch of the photos of Angelina Jolie and the kids, as photographed by longtime partner Brad Pitt. You can view them at WMagazine.com. (You have to click through the eight slides in the Flash slideshow.) Here are some choice excerpts from the cover article:
– Every family has its unique rites of passage, those generational milestones that mark a child’s growth and remind parents of their own similar experiences, years earlier. In the Jolie-Pitt household, one such event is the day a kid begins collecting daggers. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s seven-year-old son, Maddox, like many boys his age, has lately developed a fondness for guns and knives, and Jolie proudly notes that the predilection runs in the family. “My mom took me to buy my first daggers when I was 11 or 12,” she recalls. “And I’ve already bought Maddox some things. We take him to a special shop.” She emphasizes that the knife blades are dulled so they’re not dangerous, and that the purchases are accompanied by discussions about violence. But, she says, “we also talk about samurais and about the idea of defending someone as good. We talk about everything.”
– If Jolie has a favorite possession, she says, it’s the overstuffed Tumi case that holds the family’s travel documents: Vietnamese, Namibian, Ethiopian, French and American passports, plus her own UN credentials.
– The Jolie-Pitt bedroom, of course, remains off-limits to journalists. And sometimes even to kids, Jolie declares. “The kids do knock before entering,” she says. “We’ve at least got that part down. Because Mommy and Daddy need some space.”

First of all, I must say I´m really glad that you´re not namecalling me (as alot of people would, and do).
Secondly—–as you´ve said, YES, I´ve been here for ages and of course seen ALL of it.
——————BUT——————-I have NEVER been one of those people to believe the crazy stuff the mags like to state as truth. You say you´ve seen my name from time to time? Then you´ll notice, that I have never left a negative messege regarding their relationship or devotion for each other.
Even though I´m really shaking my head at alot of “Brangelinas” latest actions, I still have no doubt that these two are meant for each other.
I have always believed so (hell, six months before they started shoting Mr. and Mrs. Smith I knew that they would make a great couple), and certainly never paid any attention to those rumours (”Can Brad take it?, “How long will they last?”, “Breakdown, depression…..”———-I´m sure you heard them all).
I really understand where you are comming from—-but my biggest concern here are the children, and the way they are being exposed. It´s simply not right.
Why would they even feel the need to prove how happy they are? Just let those mags talk.
Brad and Angie should just carry on, play with the children and life their lifes. That way people would still see how strong their relationship really is.
(A bit off topic——would you tell me what name you use here?)
btw, I don’t shoot at animals and never have. I’m target, skeet, inanimate object shooter only. Knifes are soley for the asthetic and history (unless I end up on a deserted island of course and need to cut a coconut up lol)

you know who Brads publicist is? HUVANE!!! so think before you make rash statements.
these are beautiful pics…..Brad has so much talent. the one with Madd is really cute, my fav. the breastfeeding pic is even more beautiful as on the cover, theres more space on the pic. they´re not as private as i thought they would be, but i am curious about the others we have not seen yet.

WTF? :lol: :lol: Because you see it has them trying to “prove how happy they are” doesn’t make it so. It’s in you’re head.
Angelina is just giving an interview to promote her lastest film and doing it has she always done. The idea of the shoot was from the editor of the magazines and it was a brilllant idea.
As for them “exposing” their children. Please… you see less of their kids than most of other kids in HW. At least this way they controle how their kids appear.

Take your own advice you shouldn’t worship people you don’t know and OMG you’ll kiss the grounds they walk on only my children and family make me happy.. I’m happy you think Angie and Brad are great I don’t in this article nor like her looks and i actually think shes a beauty but not here…so get over it…so enjoy your moment I don’t care what you think nor anyone else…

i got yelled at for saying that i don´t think the exposure of the kids is good IMO. now i just say “beautiful” (what they are) and thats it…..some people have difficulties accepting other opinions, especially on here, don´t worry.

Changeling (Oct. 24)
“Everyone tries to be professional on a movie, but sometimes [when you're working with big stars] your inner fan escapes,” says Amy Ryan. This happened when the actress was shooting a fight scene for the Clint Eastwood-directed thriller set in the 1920s. Eastwood yelled “Cut!” in the middle of the scene, Ryan says, “and he came over and began instructing me on how to fight. And I thought, ‘How cool is this? I’m being taught how to throw a punch by Dirty Harry!’ I admit it, I was star-struck.”
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (Dec. 25)
It never hurts to be nice. In this film based on an F. Scott Fitzgerald story about a man (Brad Pitt) who ages in reverse, the character’s house has a special significance. Producer Cean Chaffin recalls that after fruitless searches for a suitable home, director David Fincher spotted the perfect home in New Orleans’ French Quarter. “We weren’t optimistic about getting permission,” Chaffin says. “The family that owned the house had occupied it since 1881 and had never allowed filming.” Fortunately, the matriarch had been given a screen test by [the studio behind Curious Case] as a young woman. She fondly recalled how nice everyone had been to her, and this opened the door.

Most chidren who are in scouting or go have knives. Swiss Army knives or Pocket knives. They are taught by responsible adults how to use them.
Those can be just as deadly as a dagger. How about fire crackers? Parents give those to their kids on the 4th of July. Those can be deadly too if unsupervised. (Even sparklers can be a fire hazard) Trick or Treating? OMG!!!!
What about riding your bike without knee pads and a helmut? Pretty dangerous (although when I was a kid they did not have them).
My point is this. ANYTHING can be dangerous if the child is left unsupervised which these children are not.
This just has everyone’s knickers in a twist because they were waiting to have something to complain about!

It is truly sad when people do not read the entire article, or only read what they want to see. First of all Brad was approached to do the shoot for W. They came to him. And Angie agreed. Collecting something and using it as a weapon are two different things.
These people have been out of sight since May so how are they over exposing themselves. D*mn we see Jennifer Garner, Katie Holmes, J Lopez, Halle Berry and other darn near everyday. Are they not overexposed? Oh and x. Whenever she is seen she is overexposed.
Who has ever revealed more about herself than Oprah? People hide things when they are ashamed of themselves and what has happened to them. The things Angie reveals are only made a big deal because the press and media doesn’t have anything else to say about her.
How many times has she said that after meeting Brad she wanted to have children? Yet the medai acts as though this is the first time she has said it. Brad and Angie don’t create the news. The live their lives and do their jobs. The media creates the news. They need stories to sell, real or made up.
Notice there wasn’t much news about Brad and makeitright last week. bdj found some. But wasn’t as bigh as the breastfeeding news. That doesn’t excite as much as a picture of Angie feeding a twin.

It’s often been observed, rightly or wrongly, that Jolie has completely changed Pitt, transforming the Sexiest Man Alive into a tireless international do-gooder in her own image. She says Pitt has profoundly changed her. When asked for specifics, she lets out a rare bashful laugh and, before answering, points out that she hasn’t necessarily discussed them with Pitt himself.
Oh now I see why she tried to make it seem like he changed her . I see she only came up with ONE thing.
I totally love her for being able to change that white bread into her own image. who else could do that? Only the Jolie.

Angelina’s mistakes are the thuing that made me a fan.To read about her and to see the way she worked her way up is inspiring.So I dont worship the ground she walks on I just love her honesty and I love that she bought Maddox a knife.Why because it led to her teaching him whats right and whats wrong.I respect,respect,respect her more and more everyday.The picture are beutiful,tasteful and I cant wait to buy a copy.

If there was any doubt that Angelina Jolie is the most beautiful woman on the planet, the intimate candid shots taken of her by partner Brad Pitt that appear this month in W magazine clear that right up.
The “Changeling” actress looks just as gorgeous as she does on a red carpet in the unposed photos Pitt took in their home in the South of France.
In one picture Angelina is relaxing with daughter Shiloh, 2, and her adopted son Pax, 4. In another she is carrying one of her newborn twins in a snuggly and in yet another (which ended up on the cover of the glossy) she is breast-feeding one of the babies.
She even looks spectacular about to devour a burger.
The celebrity pair invited a journalist from the mag into their rented chateau where Angie revealed some of the more personal details about raising a brood of six.

See whats the problem if you respect that thats fine. I agree some of the pics are nice not all of them. so why am i not entitled to say things that I feel. I’m not even arguing with you, you started with me for no reason. I’m happy for angie and brad but don’t agree with everything can’t you respect what i think. I didn’t ask you for an answer of what i write.
I have the freedom to write what i want to as you do ok so i don’t want to argue with anyone isn’t there enough of that on these sights it gets to vicious.

:D Brad can and should show his face all over the place, he is afterall doing some good and has every right to be proud of what he does. his ex however… with all her publicity stunts and what not should lay low unless she has some positive contributions to mankind or at least some work she can promote that doesn’t stink.

I thoroughly enjoyed the article as I do with all her interviews. I love her frankness and honesty, even if she does it at the risk of being criticized. She’s on a public journey of self-discovery and she’s unafraid of letting people know what she’s learned along the way. People can spout as much hate towards this woman as they want, but it won’t defeat or diminish her. She’s a woman of great strength, and that’s why I admire her so much.
I can’t wait to get my issue of W to see the rest of the photos. Angie sure loves doing the fish face. She did the same in AMH when Danny was taking a photo of her on the boat. LOL!
