Evan Rachel Wood is Wrestler Ready
Evan Rachel Wood goes strapless in a classic black Giambattista Valli dress with bow details at the 46th New York Film Festival at Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center on Sunday.
The 21-year-old actress attended the presentation of her new movie, The Wrestler. Wood plays estranged daughter Stephanie to Randy “Ram” Robinson (Mickey Rourke), a retired professional wrestler. The film was directed by Darren Aronofsky and also stars Marisa Tomei.

Manson is totally trying to turn her into a clone of Dita Von Tesse and that is sad. Why would you date a guy that wants you to look like his ex wife? If that ain’t a deal breaker I don’t know what is. And the fact that she is going a long with it speaks to her self esteem… or lack there of.
You know - when I saw her in “Across The Universe” - I was sure she was one of the most beautiful women in the world… but in real life - it turns out she’s kinda… gross.

That’s funny all of you say she’s trying to look like Dita..she’s a broken down Dita..yadayadayada…She’s not becuase if you all know dita so well, you notice that she always wears red lipstick let alone has no tattoos…marilyn manson is obviously attracted to brunettes with a pale complextion..now I don’t see that as trying to turn her into Dita. I think Evan’s always been really pale its just when she had her actual blonde hair (which she needs back ASAP) we didn’t notice as much. She needs to get away from Marilyn though because shes a good actress but nobody cares all they care about is how weird she must be for dating him.

A lot of hollywood stars take their clothes off for a living too. Dita is unique and oozes style and grace.
It’s sad she’s trying to imitate someone so unique.
Evan’s not copying Dita, she’s imitating the things her boyfriend looks for in a girl. But when you have to change for someone THAT much in the relationship, then that just goes to show you that there isn’t really any love there at all for the girl when it comes to him giving his half of the relationship. I think she’ll realise this one day and give until there’s nothing left TO give. I just hate to see this poor girl become “Manson’s goth girlfriend” by headlines instead of “The actress” just because she wanted to go about the wrong way to please someone important to her.
Oh and for Dita being unique? She copied Betty Page and every other star in the 40’s and 50’s, so all you Dita-lovers get off your high horse! The girl doesn’t have any originality flowing through her act!
The most sad thing here is that when Manson and Dita divorced he said in the paper that he hated being with someone who ”tried to change him”.
But at the same time he is doing the exact same thing to Evan.
And Evan is obviously too young and naive to see that. Poor girl.
