“Hi, I’m Hayden Panettiere, and I’m hot enough that I know I have your attention for at least 30 seconds. There are three things I think all citizens should do: Smoke cigarettes, vote for John McCain, and don’t wear a seat belt. A vote for McCain is a vote against change. He’ll keep tax breaks for the rich, start another war, and we’ll all probably die. He’s just like George Bush, except older and with a worse temper. Let’s vote for McCain and stay the course. Don’t switch horses midstream. Get an older horse that will take 12 years to cross that stream, ‘cause he’s old. John McCain, he’s had affairs with lobbyists, so you’ll get f—ed, and he’ll get f—ed. Everybody wins. Nobody f—s with McCain.”

They don’t need to be sarcastic anymore. Just presenting the facts are enough at this point of the campaign. And please - swearing in an ad does not help at all.

What liberal Hollywood idiots have done to McCain is truly sickening. Sickening it’s their jaw dropping ignorance and sickening in the staggering degree to which they will lie. Anyone who thinks McCain is Bush clone is a complete moron. McCain’s whole career has been dedicated, in large part, with sticking it to his own party. McCain has crossed party lines repeatedly on issues that have made him spectacularly unpopular in the Republican party. That is the antithesis of Bush. Also, the idea that McCain is a warmonger is equally absurd. McCain, unlike Obama, has actually served in the military and doesn’t take entering into war lightly.
Equally absurd is the suggestion that Obama will bring change. Obama has no record of challenging his own party on anything and no record of reaching across party lines. His record in his two measly years in the Senate is pathetic-he has no record to show at all. Obama is the consumate opportunistic politician. He went back on two huge issues-the wire tap issue and the use of public funds-two moral issues that he claimed were extremely important to him. He threw his principles in the trash can so fast on these issues it wasn’t even funny. And, let’s talk about Rev. Wright, Obama sat in that hatemongers’ church for 20 years and didn’t say a word about the church honoring a jew hating antisemite. Only when Wright became a political liability did Obama turn him away.
And affairs with lobbyists? WTF is she talking about. That is complete bs. And a truly disgusting smear job. Hey, why isn’t Hayden talking about all the rumors of Obamas affair? Shut up Hayden, nobody cares what an ignorant moron that, like most celebs, barely graduated from High School.

Just some of the ways McCain differs from Bush..the environment, campaign finance reform, doing Iraq on the cheap(Rumsfeld), gun control, Guantanimo, torture. Oh, and guess who voted WITH Bush on extending his tax plan? It was Obama that voted with Bush and McCain that voted against it.
Oh, and McCain warned 2 years ago and introduced legislation that would have prevented the recent economic meltdown. In fact, so did the Bush Administraion(as far back as 7 years ago) Guess who didn’t do anything…Obama and his Democratic cronies in Washington…Barney Frank, Pelosi, Meeks, all the top Democrats were completely against doing ANYTHING to regulate Freddie and Fannie while McCain sounded the alarms. How old is she? I think what she says constitutes to age discrimination.. It is not in good taste to vilify either candidate, they are running for a very important office and are not there as anarchists but because of a democratic process that declared them their party nominees.. Whoever the people elect, should be respected and the loser also deserves his due respect as does any third party candidate running.

After reading comments in this and other politically-charged threads on this blog, it becomes obvious that the people on here supporting Obama are definitely part of the sound-bite, instant gratification society in which we are currently living.
I really can’t stomach reading any more comments about John McCain’s age - you do realize that with age comes experience and wisdom, right? It’s also disgusting the number of people who belittle his time and sacrifice as a soldier and POW, as if it means nothing. He has done a great deal for this country that should be honored and recognized. He spent nearly his entire adult life serving the United States as a soldier and as a public servant.
You all realize that John McCain was a tough sell to the Republicans as he and his track record are not nearly as conservative as the right-wingers would like, right? He is HARDLY another George Bush. But if you want to swallow all the propaganda Obama’s PR people are shoveling out because it’s easier than thinking for yourself and doing a little research, be my guest. I guess we’ll have this election decided by people who actually put stock in celebrity endorsements instead of in facts.
