Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are giving their romance a second chance, according to reports.
After ending their four-month relationship earlier this year, Jen, 39, and John, 30, dined at the romantic Il Mulino restaurant in Manhattan last weekend.
The night before, the couple joined friends for a dinner Boston’s Mantra restaurant.
An insider tells Star that John had been sending Jennifer emails about rekindling their summer romance: “At first Jennifer was afraid to respond to John’s messages because she was afraid he’d break her heart again. The emails were especially poetic — like love songs. He said he’d never stop loving her and he’s been very, very persuasive.”

You know what is really pathetic about all this? The timing is hilarious. Angelina has a 21-page spread coming out in W next Tuesday and a movie being released at the end of this month. Poor Jennifer can’t seem to get a notice in the tabs recently, except for a snarky article that she had lipo. She’s desperate to get back into the spotlight. So she runs back to Mayer and voila! All the tabs are talking about the big reunion.
You know Jill it seems to happen that way. But do you really belIeve that her getting back with John is gonna disrupt Angie’s beautiful pics?
I don’t think so!! I said i wouldn’t buy a mag just b/c i never do but now i have to b/c Zee is my little character shes to me is gonna be the funny one that makes everyone laugh…

maybe she forgave him and really loves him. Maybe lets give John the benefit of doubt that he changed. I mean maybe grew up. But whatever happens i just wish her happiness. Nothing wrong with that. If he makes an ass out of her again thats her problem., and deserves everything she gets right???
A strong woman knows how to give her man space; she doesn’t wrap herself around him like a boa constrictor and try to control his every move.
^^^That’s real good advice Jill you are right on the money. That’s how she has to play it but one other important fact is…..when you give Mayer that much lead way he will cheat. He has two many women he will keep at his finger tips to use when he get ready. He will have them. It would have been better if Jen chose a better man than John. Then use your advice. Bottom line Jen don’t have herself nothing in Mayer.
Btw I have W hot in my hands already. I went to the newstand today and they had just received it - it was still in the box. My good man opened it up for me and I walked away happy. Interesting stuff. Brad sure loves Angie’s lips! Lol!

He can talk all the pretty talk he wants but he’s so insecure and still such a boy. As for Maniston, well, we all know her MO - Angelina is on the cover of W! It was red alert time for her to get some press and a fauxmance STAT. Pathetic. As Always.

Jen don’t seem to want a man. I believe all the mags and tabloids are really going to start laughing at Jen in a week. This is not going to help her movie sales either. It really is time for Jen to get new PR management.

John Mayer is a smart cookie. Jenn is smart, too. Both are playing each other for the headlines. The difference is John enjoys playing the game. He is in on it. Hes having fun. Jenn is playing because she can’t do any better and she is desperate. She needs the press. She craves the attention. I bet Vince, ect, ect, ect, ect, ect are looking better and better to Jen right about now.
It must truly suck to see Angie and her newborn on a magazine cover in a beautiful 21 page photo spread that Brad photographed no less. It’s good to be Jenn!
John has no dignity. He tormented this girl for YEARS. He wrote songs about her, he made references to her in interviews, he posted a picture of horses on his blog in an attempt to communicate with her…the list goes on and on.

I think I smell a revenge hookup. Jen is going to be all lovey and clingy, you know desperate and then she will get to dump John and humiliate him and feel so good about herself. But John will be like… next!

John is a phony, a liar. There is not one thing that’s honest about him. Yeah Jen go ahead and live your life-good luck with that. To all those who don’t like Jen don’t worry the cow keeps shooting herself in the foot. So just sit and wait-it’s coming. We all know this will never work. These two think they are pulling one over on the media but really it’s going to backfire.
I really don’t think Jennifer ‘wants a REAL commitment with a family, kids and partner. She wouldn’t be able to handle it because it wouldn’t be all about her. She wants ALL the attention. That is why Brad is with Angie. They work as a team because that is their goal. If Maniston would just fess up and tell the truth about what she wants( FAME-BIG-BIG-STAR) people could maybe relate to her. But she comes off as just whiny and phony and manipulative and the media and public are not buying it.
I really really have no respect for that kind of woman…still, as a woman myself, i feel kinda sad. It’s like she can’t help jumping in the water without taking the temperature beforehand, without looking at the waves and keep on swimming uncontrollably when the water is tormented drawing herself deeper and deeper.
Clearly, she is loosing it sanity wise. She doesn’t need a new PR, she needs therapy ! She needs it to stop being obssessed about celebrity. It’s all about that ! She is scared to death to not be recognized cause she is married to CELEBRITY and its kid : EGO.
She just lives through it and once the lights of Hollywood won’t light up for her she will sink into a deep depression. She needs to accept it, regroup herself, make peace with her mum, cause the mother is always the root of anyone existence, it’s in her womb that we have been conceived. She then needs some time alone, travelling and then working on her projects without being scared if they are not received or not, just do something she really likes, for herself, not to be recognized publicly.

What! Are we talking about the same Jennifer? Maniston has no class and even less dignity. She is all about herself. Where are her family and friends to talk some sence into her? No where! There are none. Jenn only wants fame at any price. As for John, he’s laughing all the way to her bedroom!

That in a nutshell is all that she needs to do. The woman is still exhibiting some very childlike(not adult) behaviour at 40.
Forget therapy - she has been in therapy for over 13 years til her therapist died in Dec 2004. If that(therapy) did not work after all those years what make you think any more therapy will.
Those who say that she needs to deal with her mother issue are right. Unfortunately for her, this particular issue is the what one would call, the final nail in the coffin to her many issues from body, self-esteem,neurosis to commitments/relationship issues. It is probably the cause of all the above. I betcha, once she deals with it…VOILA…you will see the children that she has been talking about all these years!!!!
Also, fire the PR. The PR is becoming a case of codependency as in pyschology.

Yes. there are two beautiful women in Hollywood. Both connected to the same man, the gorgeous Brad Pitt. But Brad is now very happy with 6 kids and Angelina. Everything and more. He has a full life.
Jen really doesn’t have much. She wants to be famous and nothing else matters. So she goes after John yet again because it will bring her headlines. No matter John is a scum bag. But she already knows that.
So really she is making the choice. God help her because she is sad soul.

Righto! It’s sure damn time that she begin moving in a new direction because her tricks are getting so old. I do think you’re right about her not wanting a grown adult male though. I don’t think she can handle that type of mature connection. That’s just how I see it. On another note I do wonder what Mayer had to say about the way “her people” slandered him after the break-up? Maybe it ended up working in her favor? Made him actually believe he was the bad guy and had to atone. What a sucker anyway. Both of them.
How can you freaks make comments about this woman based on rag mag stories? How has she every hurt you? Why do you hate her? I’ve come to the conclusion that those of you who hate her so much are the same freaks that go on threads about Angelina and attack anyone who says anything negative about AJ. Why do you insist on continuing a feud between two people that does not exist? You all need professional help. I have never been a fan of AJ; I have always been a fan of JA. I could never say the degrading things about AJ that some of you have about JA. Neither woman deserves this. They are both beautiful; and from what I can see, both are perfectly happy with their lives. Maybe a few of you should follow their example and live your lives instead of spending so much time spewing hatred.
As far as the subject of this particular story: If Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer choose to be friends, lovers, or whatever; I wish them the best. Everyone deserves happiness.

I feel sorry for both Jen and John. They are both so transparent in their lives. I think John is in it for fun. Jen wants the limelight and fame. Jen could have it all but she is so full of herself it will never happen. John will grow up one day and probably be a great family man with tons of talent and a super career of his choice. Not so with Jen. She is old news.
Jennifer and John deserve each other.
This whole thing with Jen is all about her other failed relationships. Brad gets a cover, she wants one too. It is fame no matter what. Jen needs to grow up and start acting like an adult. She needs to reexamine her past and heal herself or she will never ever be happy. Move on girl, move on.

Yes there are 2 beautiful women in Hollywood I wish we wouldn’t connect Jen with Brad anymore.. Brad and Angie have their own beautiful life now.. But Jen is a grown woman and may do as she pleases. Maybe like i said she really loves John and has forgiven him.

You say Angie and Brad have a full life. Jen has a full life by not being married or having children doesn’t mean Jen doesn’t have a life.
Jens a grown woman a smart women not desperate just seems to be in love. If John makes an a** out of her again you know what thats her problem not ours. .Its been done before and time heals all wounds and thats the truth I know but not from that situation another .
Its so hard to agree to something that you feel or believe b/c we don’t know any of them. They all seem to be good people to me..
