Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown keeps fashion fun in a hooded dress with crystal detailing at the 2008 MOBO Awards held at Wembley Arena on Wednesday in London. (Check out the pictures below–the hood can flip backwards to create shoulder coverings!)
The 33-year-old Scary Spice was accompanied on the red carpet by her music producer husband Stephen Belafonte. The MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) Awards recognize artists of any race or nationality performing music of black origin.

I agree, fashion is about taking risks. That’s why I dislike people like Lauren Conrad’s fashion. It’s so dull and it makes me think why she ever became a fashion designer.

Mel looks stunning. I personally think she’s the best looking Spice Girl. With that said, igboz, my husband’s friend, who’s been a cameraman for many years actually knows Stephen and according to him, he’s not a real producer. I mean, come on, he can’t be if he continues to follow his wife every where she goes when she’s working. It’s not like he’s a big time executive producer or anything. He’s more like an errand boy, and b/c of this, he can be credited as a “producer”. And if you look at his imdb profile., you can tell that’s he’s not much of a producer b/c of his list of credits are movies people never even heard of. I don’t know him personally, but those that do don’t have favorable things to say about him. Actually people can’t stand him here in LA, and people hate him in NY/NJ. Hopefully, he’s a changed man now though b/c I really like Mel. But anyways, thought I share. lol
