At the Al Smith Dinner Last night Obama spoke of poverty & the homeless….
“Champagne wishes and caviar dreams!” While he was at a meeting at the Waldorf-Astoria at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Michelle Obama called room service and ordered lobster hors d’oeuvres, two whole steamed lobsters, Iranian caviar and champagne.

I do the research and your guy, and his running mate, are more of the same, if not worse. You and your ilk aren’t interested in lifting America up, only yourself. Every man/woman for himself…what a reckless platform.

I happen to be voting for Obama because I agree with what he stands for and I think he has a sincere and rational plan to help this country get back on the right track. If you don’t agree with Obama’s plans and ideas, then don’t vote for him. This is why we have elections - you’re entitled to your opinion. Vote on it. We live in a democratic nation.
That said, no matter who wins the election, I imagine it will be a single term president. Obama has inspired millions of people, but it has also raised expectations to an unreasonable level. Our country has staggering problems and crises to be attended to, and four years is simply not enough time to fix everything. Anti-Obama voters will wag their fingers and say, “I told you so” when Obama doesn’t save the world in the first year of his presidency. Four years just isn’t enough for either president to enact all of their plans. Strategies for success take time, and we are a fickle people. Having said that, I do believe that Obama will get the ball rolling in the right direction. That’s why I want to vote for him.
I usually find crazy old men pretty fun. Not so much when they’re running for president.

Sarah Palin talks about Barack Obama “Palling around with domestic terrorists”. Guilt by association? Well then how about this one: John McCain lived with communists for 5-1/2 years! Could there possibly be more influence there than might be revealed on the surface? John’s wife said he never received psychological care after being a POW because he was “trained better”. Am I the only one who saw “The Manchurian Candidate”? Did you see what kind of a war George W. Bush got us into after Sadam Hussein tried to kill his daddy?
