Some Republican supporters were interviewed after a rally in Ohio by Republican VP nominee Sarah Palin. Here are some of the misconceptions they had of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama:
– “I’m afraid if he wins, the Black will take over.”
– “When you’ve got a Negro running for President, you need a first stringer. He’s definitely a second stringer.”
– “He seems like a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I believe Palin is filled with the Holy Spirit and I believe she’s going to bring honesty and integrity to the White House.”
– “He must support terrorists. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it must be a duck. And that to me, is Obama.”
– “Just the whole Muslim thing. A lot of people forgot about 9/11. I don’t know, it’s just a little unnerving.”
– “Obama and his wife. I’m afraid they could be anti-White.”
– “I don’t like the fact that he thinks us white people are trash. Because we’re not!”

Yesterday, i saw a woman referring to Obama as an “Arab”, where the hell do people get their information? If your gonna be racially or religiously biased at least be correct about it. I think any stereotypes foreigners might have had about certain republicans have now been confirmed im sorry to say. I’m hoping the majority of the people don’t feel this way about Obama….

These are not misconception but deep rooted fear that America may actually have its first coloured president instead of the usual white. We can tolerate a stupid president or VP but not a smart black one. Put an asian there, I am sure there would be an uproar that America may be a communist!

The only good thing about this clip are all the comments made here about how appallingly ignorant all these people are.
