Some Republican supporters were interviewed after a rally in Ohio by Republican VP nominee Sarah Palin. Here are some of the misconceptions they had of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama:
– “I’m afraid if he wins, the Black will take over.”
– “When you’ve got a Negro running for President, you need a first stringer. He’s definitely a second stringer.”
– “He seems like a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I believe Palin is filled with the Holy Spirit and I believe she’s going to bring honesty and integrity to the White House.”
– “He must support terrorists. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it must be a duck. And that to me, is Obama.”
– “Just the whole Muslim thing. A lot of people forgot about 9/11. I don’t know, it’s just a little unnerving.”
– “Obama and his wife. I’m afraid they could be anti-White.”
– “I don’t like the fact that he thinks us white people are trash. Because we’re not!”

wow..that video just makes me feel terribly sad…and he is not even muslim!
It’s funny to read how you people sound that are saying how ignorant those “old white people” sound.

These old white people are the people who worked hard for America when it was still young. If they believe a certain way so what! They have earned their right.
People call Obama a Muslim because that’s what he checked on the ethnic box when he went to school in a MUSLIM COUNTRY.
People call him a terrorist because he has ties with known terrorist as MCcain brought up last night (Ayers).
His wife DOES HATE WHITE PEOPLE! She went to a church for over 20 yrs that taught nothing but the hatred of the white race, she only stopped going when FOX news took a hidden camera in and recorded one of his services. And she condoned it for 20 yrs???
Her last 3 thesis’ in college were how black America is held down by white America…WOW, feeling harsh towards whites much? (Her brother also wrote about the exact same subject in HIS THESIS, what a wonderful family)

He said he was ashamed of his white heritage when he saw his white grandmother act like she was scared of a group of black guys once. HELL, I would be scared of a group of black guys since MOST violent crimes in cities are commited by black youth in America. (look it up)
If he wins, I can’t wait to throw this back in your faces in 4 yrs what a mistake it was for him to get into office.
OH..and NEGRO was the acceptable term back in the day. That’s what they were called, just like NEGRO means black in Spanish. How is that Horrid???? lol, you people are as dumb as you sound. Blacks are the ones who constantly keep changing what they want to be called. I heard the other day that they are now finding offense with African American because many are saying they didn’t come from Africa the are full Americans…so you can’t win for losing with them. Some people are voting Republican because Obama lacks the understanding that in order to fix the U.S. Government, MAJOR changes have to be made, not empty promises of tiny changes. Not everyone who is voting Republican is doing so because they’re racist or ignorant — and I certainly hope that everyone understands this isn’t Ohio’s point of view. This is a few voters who are stuck in the past.
I think the funniest part is the “Sara Palin is holy” thing. Its like the Middle Ages where people want the leader who will take them to “heaven” instead of the one who’s gonna be a good leader.
I’m not American, but I’m following the elections as this is a historical event. I don’t mind people who vote based on taxation plans or something, but it really is unfortunate that the big “T” word is used so often these days. If you want to enrage the public, just say the person is a terrorist and no matter how stupid the claim is, people just can’t take any risks to investigate it. Thats exactly what happened to Obama… Its unfortunate how terrorism made people more stupid than smarter.

first, obama is mixed, representing america’s society of the present.
when you say many people will vote for obama, because he is “black”, then you must also assume, that the us-women will vote for the republicans, because of palin. that’s just not that easy!
the remarks of the people in the video just show the bad conscience of the people. they know how cruel the white people have been to the blacks in the past and that bad concience has evoked their fears of being punished. therefor they have not just shown how stupid and ignorant they are, but they have also indirectly confessed that they feel guilty for how the white have treated the blacks.
bottom line you people!!! You can never question Mc Cain’s loyalty to his country. America is safe with Mc Cain/Palin administration in the othe hand, average americans could not help to doubt Obama’s loyalty because of his past associations with anti americans and there are just too many of them. Did you guys forget about Obama not wanting to wear american pin and not putting his right hand on his chest when singing our Nationa Anthem???

dear eddie jones, the last time I checked -the US was not a theocratic country (see Israel and Pakistan for example). therefore i do NOT believe that any political party has a need to vote according to religious scriptures here. Unless of course this is what you’re aiming for and in that case, i’ll take the next boat out of here with the dug up coffins of our founding fathers and the constitution so I can reclaim our country somewhere a little less fanatical.

OMG, the ignorance of some people.
Despite the fact these people are running for presidents and VPs they are people. I am sure outside of this all they are good people. I recently seen on TV McCain actually defended Obama when at a rally a member of the crowd said these things about Obama and McCain took the mike away and said something like that Obama was not a bad person he is a good family man and that they just have different opinions on how to run the country. It is all politics. These are people competing for a job. I would actually not vote for either of these candidates, and would of voted for Hilary if she was still in the running. Obama has a stong personality and is a great motivational speaker. I believe what he says, but the fact that he has celebs doing his ads kinda puts me off him a little. Making it hard to take him seriously. McCain, I have respect for him after I read the exclusive he did with his family in People magazine and the fact he stood up and defended Obama in that rally. I would not vote for him at all as I do not agreee with anything he has to say and he seems too old fashioned and not willing to change. The world is changing we need to change. Plus Sarah Palin is a joke. I am sorry.
