Changeling star Angelina Jolie is all smiles during a USA Today photo shoot with director Clint Eastwood, his wife Dina and their daughter Morgan, 11.
“Hey, Dina and Morgan would sure like to get a look at those twins later,” Clint said to Angie during the photo shoot. “Me too… though I didn’t want to say so.”
Angie also recently gave a great interview to The New York Times. Highlights are as follows:
On falling in love on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith: “Not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love.” (Yes, Brad Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston).
On not being ready for her six children to see racy internet pictures of herself: “[Maddox will] look up my name and see some kind of sexy pictures, or read a story about himself that isn’t true. There’s a lot we’re going to have to explain to them about how public their family is.”
On her kids looking at mom and dad as nerds: “What’s going to be funny is when they think Mom and Dad are a little bit cool, because right now, we’re not cool Mom and Dad. Even video games, you know, it’s: ‘Mom, you can’t play this. You don’t know how… They all think I can’t do anything, that I’m just there to snuggle with. But the other day, Madd said, ‘Can you do a cartwheel?’ and I said, ‘Yeah I can.’ And he was like, ‘Wow, Mom.’ And I thought ‘Oh, yeah. I can do some things. You wait. You’ll find out. I’m capable.”

Yes they fell in love during the filming but they did act on their feeling until divorce papers were filed and Brad was seen a legally separated. Beside Jen had moved on with Vaugh. Love the Jolie- Pitts.
For those of you haters who are going to jump on Angie’s comment on falling in love with Brad, does it really matter if Jen and Brad were still together. She’s not saying anything we don’t already know. He did her a favor by leaving her. It’s embaressing that he fell for someone that is younger and more successful than she is. Is she a homewrecker? Was there a home to wreck to begin with? There are plenty of celebrities that have done the same thing and don’t even get a tenth of the media attention. JLO, Michael Douglas, Julia Roberts, etc, etc.

Angelina Jolie, Microsoft Corp., law firms and corporate law departments are teaming up to create a legal system for children of parents involved in U.S. immigration proceedings.
The Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) will provide pro bono legal defense for unaccompanied children, according to the Redmond computer giant (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Jolie, a celebrity actress also known for her humanitarian work.
“Through our support of KIND, we hope to inspire the participation of many more representatives of our legal community to offer these children the fundamental protection they need. Every lawyer has a professional responsibility to provide pro bono legal services to those unable to pay,” said Brad Smith, Microsoft’s general counsel, in a statement.
Jolie said that the U.S. provides no lawyers for children of parents involved in immigration court proceedings.
“These children often have nothing; no money, no support and no family, yet they come to America seeking its promises of a better life. But many end up becoming lost, traumatized, and ultimately forgotten,” Jolie said in a statement.
So far, KIND has received more than $2 million in donations, and more than 25 law firms and corporate law departments have committed to contributing more than 13,000 pro bono hours during KIND’s first year of operation. The organization will be based in Washington, D.C.

So Angelina said in response to a question that its “Not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love.” She met Brad Pitt on the set of MAMS, they both have stated that working on MAMS was a joy (see vogue 2007) , Brad admitted to being attracted to Ange (see the VF interview) .. Like Cliniqua stated, MAMS was filmed in 2005 as well after separation papers were filed.

Anyone in a relationship can feel an attraction to someone outside the relationship. If you think you are immune to that or that your partner is immune to that you are living in a harlequin romance dream world. It does not mean that it is acted upon.

Imagine Brad: He gets married on the rebound…….he matures and grows and wants more in his life; at the same time his wife is determined to translate her sit-com stardom into A list acting. He’s been an A lister for so long it has lost its charm for him…he’s feeling empty and depressed. They are on two entirely different paths and there is nothing to bridge the gap.
Tension mounts; resentments blossom and boom, the meets the female equivalent of himself while working. He wasn’t hanging out in a bar picking up some *****……….life led him to Angie.
We know now it was the right decision for both of them….it has also allowed us to see what Brad was living with and allows us to understand even more fully why he ended the marriage. If not for his substance he would have left long before, but he’s not a flake and it was only when he realized real compatibility with Angie, did he muster the cajones to do what he always knew had to be done at some point.
Angie merely clarified things for him; she was not the reason for the failure of his marriage. A cute hair cut only takes you so far……..Angie was and is much more than a pretty face…..she is the whole package as is he, and they were destined to enrich each other’s life.
We can all only wish for the same. If he had hung in and been miserable six children would not have the wonderful family life they have now and two adults would have gone on in misery……it would have ended anyway…..it was a matter of when. People who comment on his married ’status’ when he fell in love with Angie live sadly in a grey world seeing other in terms of black and white.

Again, I tried to post THE FACTS on Liz Snead as well, as she’s running the blurb that PT stated about falling in love on MAMS - I didn’t think we’d have to contend with the same misinformation here on JustJared. Sad. I tend to doubt Snead will publish my remarks, and I tend to doubt Jared will correct this thread….
But as stated here before, and once again: Pitt & Aniston “OFFICIALLY” separated in January of 2005, complete with a formal press statement. Brad & Angelina would not stop filming Mr & Mrs until that spring (May of 2005). Doug Liman even joked that they had to “rush some scenes wet to the premiere,” which was the very next month in June 2005. FYI: Some of the last scenes filmed in April - May 2005, were the therapist’s office at the end of the film that just radiated heat, many feel that Brad & Angelina had actually ALREADY started their relationship at this point or were on their way.
Bottomline Mr & Mrs was a protracted year-long shoot with both Brad & Angie breaking in the middle so Brad could film Ocean’s 12 and promote Troy and while Angelina promoted Shark’s Tale and Alexander. they would then reconvene at the halfway point - Brad’s official separation came at least 4-5 MONTHS before the MAMS shoot was over….and everyone knows it.
What everyone doesn’t know, is that they were unofficially over (as maniston whined about in VF), for more than 6 mos before that. They weren’t even living together.
If you want to talk ’semantics,’ and “married,” then you must also include the fact that while Maniston “was still married” (divorce wasn’t finalized until Oct 2005) SHE was f**king Vince Vaughn. Why don’t we put a scarlet letter on Vince’s chest?? It would have to take 50 yards of material, but we could do it. Oops. I forgot. Jealous hags only hate on ‘the beautiful girls,’ by overlooking FACTS, not fat balding funny guys.

To clarify, this statement is not to make JA the “victim” as you put it. I love AJ and think that she looks gorgeous in these pics, I thought she looked stunning in the Today show clip too; but in all fairness (and I’m just saying!) she probably shouldn’t have said it that way. I know it was a few years ago, but it still would have been more respectful to not say that altogether; I think up until this point AJ has been very careful what she has said regarding this issue. The past is the past, but in their world, it still helps to be more sensitive when talking about exes like that. I think anyone could agree on that, especially if the whole world is going to be reading about it.

When Jennifer Aniston dated Brad, she had every reason to scream it out to the world that she’d fallen in love, but some things are sacred. Even though he wasn’t married to someone else, they cherished their love and kept it personal, not a media issue. Angelina can’t find enough excuses to rub it in…subtle as it may seem, she always finds a way to talk of her sex life with Brad, and now announcing what they once denied, that they fell in love during the shoot. Is she that insecure, that she needs to let Jennifer know? I do believe she is, and that is truly sad, inspite of all her other attempts to redeem herself.

I am not expert. But from what I remember from reading all of the posts from the experts here on JJ’s M&MS was completed at the end of 2004. Cliniqua, PT, guli, AG, Jill, Juju am I correct? Didn’t x and Brad separate the beginning of 2005? And didn’t Angie go to England? So falling in love during production, but not acting on it until after x and Brad are separated are two different issues.
It is over and dead. X has had so many men she can’t remember it she was ever married to Brad herself. Angie said she does not have to defend herself because she has not done anything wrong. Old gossip hags should find newer gossip to chatter about. Peace

It’s unfair that Angelina Jolie bears the brunt of the fallout from her current partner’s FORMER (as in; over. kaput. finished) relationship. Who even knows what the dynamic between Pitt and Aniston was? I’m guessing it wasn’t a healthy one, since Pitt left. That’s right. HE LEFT. He and his former wife made a mutual choice to end a failing relationship and HE EVENTUALLY LEFT.
When did Jolie come into the picture? A month before that? Two after? Who cares! She obviously wasn’t the catalyst; the idea to separate was already boiling in both Pitt’s AND Aniston’s minds when Jolie was just a generic co-worker.

LOL…please with the ‘wrecking of a home’. I’m not a huge fan of Jolie, but come on. Whatever was happening (or in this case NOT happening) in that home was the fault of the two people who lived in it. That blame is for Aniston and Pitt.
Those of us who live in a logical place called ‘grown up’ land deal with the real and the real is this: If a relationship is what it should be (strong and healthy), no person can disrupt it, I don’t care how beautiful/sexy they are. Stop making this woman a scapegoat as in the end, the failure of this marriage lies at the feet of the individuals that were in it. They chose to walk away from it, and it ended.
At this point, nearly four years later does it even matter? I have often wondered why it is so easy for people to hate Angelina. I once posted a comment in which I said that i thought she should be more private and not give so much away. Well today i have changed my mind big time… i will explain why

Production on Quentin Tarantino’s controversy-baiting WWII epic Inglourious ******** began in Germany last week, and two important pieces of information have already emerged.
One, Brad Pitt, seen here in character for the Nazi-hunting film, is irritatingly incapable of taking a bad photo. And two, Tarantino apparently doesn’t care for spell check. (Maybe he’s looking for a way to distinguish his film from 1978’s Inglorious ********…or not, considering that the misspelling apes his widely leaked script.)
Add to these insights the recent revelation that Dancing With the Stars’ wacky, elimination-proof octogenarian Cloris Leachman has joined the cast, and you have the makings of one of the more intriguing big-screen offerings in years.
The majority of the film is expected to be filmed on location around Berlin and, in addition to Pitt and Leachman, stars Diane Kruger, B.J. Novak, Eli Roth and Mike Myers.
******** is due out in 2009.

Greetings to JP fans! I’ve not kept up with all the fabulous news about our favorite family. It’s exciting and wonderful to read all the new additions ( the twins) to this lovely family and all the good news regarding movies and the humanitarian endeavours. This is the most inspiring family. I like to read the news about them, and I love them for that. The negative remarks regarding the love story of Brad and Angie is puzzling to me because this has been argued to the point that I wonder if x’s mental health is so fragile she must be protected at all cost. If she is strong woman, she would put an end to this pity party for once and for all. This was a civilized divorce at first. Now it’s such an ugly situation, especially now that children are involved. I wonder sometimes if this whole situation would have been over already if the divorce was messy, brutally honest about the status of the marriage to begin with. Sometimes if the truth is told from the beginning, the marriage was a mistake and the parties were no longer in love, would have been the best deal for both parties. A clean break with no promise to be friends is less painful in the end. It happens all the time. There were no children involved in the divorce, and the assests were all divided with the divorce decree. The finality of it all would make for a smooth transition even though it would be painful for much shorter time. Rather than holding a grudge for years or eternity. I think Brad tried to be a gentleman. Sometimes being a gentleman can cause more problems than making a clean break.

Angelina said that, over time, she inexplicably looked forward to going to work on MAMS; she relished any chance of competing with him during firearm training; she emphasized how surprised she was by the reality of Brad versus the movie star Brad Pitt; and her face lit up whenever she was asked an agenda-free question about him. And, HELLO, she said that something emotional happened.

Does it really matter anymore? All parties have moved on with their lives. What is really sick about this scenario is the people who can’t leave the past in the past.
And both sides are guilty of this- those who keep restating that they hate Brad and Angelina (you all obviously post here to get their fans worked up) and those who keep stating how they hope Jennifer Aniston has a miserable life (which sort of makes you as guilty as the people you jump on for criticizing Brad and Angelina- who would actually wish harm or misery on another person you don’t even know?)
What happened between Brad and Jennifer or Brad and Angelina is really never going to be fully known- all you have are the interviews given by each party. It’s always been a private matter and really should remain so.
But seriously, move on and forget this who did what to whom conspiracy obsession. Brad and Angelina appear happy- and even if they aren’t, they have six beautiful children who deserve respect and need the love and care of their mom and dad. Jennifer Aniston has also moved on- new movies and a new man. While we may not agree with all of their decisions, I find it crazy to choose sides when we don’t know any of these people.
Just enjoy them for who they are and hope that any regrets they have will be between them and their faith system. And I hope most everyone here will wish the best for everyone (and this includes Brad, Angelina, their respective families, their six wonderful children, and Jennifer and her family).

Let’s face it, the dude felt in love with another woman because he was no longer compatible with his wife. What’s wrong with that? Sometimes, people just wake up and realize they don’t share the same beliefs and so on with their spouses anymore. Is it wrong? Of course not.
Why don’t you guys give him some credits that he wasn’t compatible with his wife anymore instead of calling him and his lover cheaters, whereas even JA didn’t call them cheaters? Cliniqua forewarned us a few threads ago what was going to happen with the “fell in love” remark. People seem to have totally forgotten what Angie said in January 2007 in the Vogue issue.
“Because of the film we ended up being brought together to do all these crazy things, and I think we found this strange friendship and partnership that kind of just suddenly happened. We just became kind of a pair. And it took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realize that it might mean something more than we’d earlier allowed ourselves to believe.”

I have often wondered why it is so easy for people to hate Angelina. I once posted a comment in which I said that i thought she should be more private and not give so much away. Well today i have changed my mind big time… i will explain why
I was eating ice cream today and thought about Angelina. I only had svanilla and wanted something to add to it. Then I thought about Angie. I know that many people find vanilla borring.. But I think Angelina is Vanilla. Vanilla is not bland, it stands on its own. It is the base for all other flavors. You would have no chocolate or strawberry without Vanilla. She is THE ONE. She needs nothing else to enhance her. She can stand alone. While I am not a big fan of Jennifer’s, I have wondered why it was so easy for so many people to side with her. Why it was so easy to paint Jen as the victim.. It is because she is Strawberry… Without the berries and other flavor she is nothing. She needs the extra to make her stand. Vanilla needs no such help. I then thought about all the icons that have come and gone. What made them special. Why do we talk about them so many year later…They are Vanilla. They are long lasting. They need no other additions to make them special. Marilyn Monroe is still talked about to this day. Women are still compared to her after all these years. Her words and actions are quoted, and written about even to this day. There will only be one Marilyn. Madonna is Vanilla. A woman in her own right. Making her own choices; love her or hate her. While I am not comparing these women to her, There is only one Angelina Jolie. But they are all Vanilla. Others are compared to her, others want to be her. She walks a Red carpet.. and there is no one else there. Halle was named the sexiest woman alive… Nothing big on the web front/papers. She even talked about her orgasms/No big whoop… Angie says she bought Madd a knife…It made the headlines everywhere. She is Vanilla… When she speaks all listen. Her words are analyzed and mulled over for days. If she said she hated M&M’s we would see it on the nightly news. Why because she is Vanilla. She is Damned if she does, and Damned if she doesn’t speak.. So i say Speak all you Fu***** want to. Say whatever pops in your head. Brad didnt divorce you! Brad didnt decide to leave you! It wasnt your marriage! It wasnt your divorce! I believe that even if Angelina didnt come along, Brad wouldve still left Aniston. Their marriage had an expiration date. They werent suited for each other to begin with… add to that the fact that Aniston is neurotic, and has a lot of issues and insecurities — well, Brad could only take so much. It’s been said that he himself was in therapy the first year of their marriage.
You can’t choose who you fall for. But you can fall in love with someone and not act on it. I’ve been there, it’s hard. But it’s called restraint. You keep your feelings to yourself until the time comes when you can act on it. I believe that’s what Brad and Angie did.
I’m glad they met on the set of MAMS and fell in love. Both are now happy and contented.

For the last time–ANGELINA, BRAD, AND JENNIFER ALL SAY THEY DIDN’T HAVE SEX UNTIL BRAD AND JENNIFER SEPARATED AND HAD DECIDED TO DIVORCE i. e. THERE WAS NO INFIDELITY, AND ANGELINA IS NOT A HOMEWRECKER.
Why is this so hard to believe? Do these doubters have so little personal self control that they can’t be with the opposite sex without jumping each other? I have no problem believing that Brad and Angie did lots of flirting, long soulful gazing at each other, and fantasizing hotly during the making of M/M Smith, but did not consummate their relationship until Brad had ended it with Jennifer. Once he did that he was free to be with Angie. She did not allow him to before that point. She is rigid about that because of her mother’s experience. Why is that so difficult for people to believe. Ever heard of the waiting making it so much better?
These people are adults after all. Even if your hormones are screaming you can behave honorably. Brad and Angie did. Even Jennifer believes that. You people who scream they were unfaithful must know more than the woman involved. Psychic or something?
Now for those who say he shouldn’t have gotten in Angie’s knickers until he was divorced for six months. Well, grow up people.
Now, with that off my chest–I loved the interview. I love how Angie is maturing and blooming. When she talks about the family they are building as their greatest accomplishment, rather than the multi-million dollars their movies make it warms my heart. I know I couldn’t handle that many kids but I admire them for what they are doing. I imagine it will be a whole lot of fun growing up in the Jolie-Pitt household, warts and all. It is so beautiful to see so many different people joined together to love and support each other.
I really don’t understand why so much hatred is directed toward this beautiful family. I also wonder how that much all the negative energy poured out on them affects their lives. Love has a vibration. So does hate. If they end up breaking up I will blame all that hated spewed at them for ruining things.
But I hope it doesn’t happen. Their hopes and dreams of a big, loving, multi-race family is a worthy and beautiful goal that deserves to flourish and survive. I hope to see this couple toddling down the red carpet in their eighties still loving and respecting each other as they accept lifetime achievement awards for lives well spent. I hope no matter what the tabloids spew out–ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO HATE BRANGELINA FOR SINS THEY’VE NEVER COMMITTED–that Brad and Angie can laugh it off and live their lives happily ever after. That their kids grow up to be productive happy adults.
I don’t know why I care so much for this family, but they touch my heart and always have. Happily ever after didn’t work out for me. But that didn’t make me so jealous and bitter that I can’t hope for it to work out for someone else. And as far as I’m concerned Brad and Angie deserve to have it work out for them. May their family flourish and their love just keep growing stronger. What is wrong with so many people in this world that they can’t wish these two lovely people and their children all the best? And may God surround and protect them from all the negative and hateful energy directed at them.

No matter how many stones that the haters will throw at Angie, whether big or small stones, she remains unaffected as she makes herself busy with what is important: FAMILY, HUMANITARIAN WORK, CAREER. In fact, for each stone, it becomes somewhat her weapon and making her stronger everyday to do what she has to do. It challenges her even more to always have a sense of purpose and be useful to what matters most.

They find you so lacking in self respect that you would beg your ex to come back to you and abandon his 6 children and his partner. They never look at your life without commenting on the effect Brad Pitt had on it, as well as Angelina Jolie. They celebrate decisions you make that may not be the best for you. They spend every minute knocking down 2 people who are not a part of your life instead of pumping you up. They feel sorry for you everyday, and can not believe that you are happy and have moved on.
