OlderSarah Palin To Appear On SNL, Sooner Or Later
Presidential candidate John McCain predicted that his running mate, Sarah Palin, would be making an appearance on Saturday Night Live.
“I think she is, yeah,” the McCain said on The Late Show with David Letterman. “Probably get more of an audience than our debate did.”
Larry King said during his broadcast that vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will make an appearance on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live.
“We’ve just confirmed that Sarah Palin will appear on Saturday Night Live on Saturday,” King said.
On Tuesday in a phone interview with the Chicago Tribune, the executive producer of SNL, Lorne Michaels, said that “I think, sooner or later, everyone will come through.”

This cummulative feeling can’t be based upon experience in these areas as Obama has none. Hold your luv juice McCainites! Neither does McStain, Biden or Pallin. Why not? Pallin’s experience is statewide. McCain, Biden and Obama sit in a deliberative and enacting body. Economic and foreign policy are matters for the executive branch, especially the former where the Prez enjoys plenary power. The Senate (and House) only fund and ratify or deny the very broadest exercise of these powers as in war declarations. So why the relative faith in Obama. Maybe intelligence. Or education. Or character. Or demeanor. Or maybe all of these.

McCain wasn’t my first choice but once he picked Gov. Palin (that is right MORONS: GOVERNOR!!!) it was a lock for me. I have done my research which involves watching more that Access Hollywood to get my news.

They’re actually going to give this nutcase free promotional time on NBC? Good Lord. I knew Lorne Michaels was a friend of McCain’s, but this is pushing it too far. Will Palin talk about how she loves only the “pro-American” parts of this country, which to her excludes cities (like New York) and suburbs, which don’t contain enough of her equally-prejudiced, equally-stupid and ill-informed followers? Great! I knew I’d stopped watching SNL for a reason. I hope she charges them $15 million dollars for her appearance.

Wrong decision for SNL to give time–and a teleprompter–to someone who wants to be a heartbeat (and a button) away from leader of the free world, but who stirs racist crowds and won’t give a spontaneous interview to the press. Shame on you, SNL. I’m not watching.
