VABN and JJ for sure would keep up with her. There would be less pap pics hopefully which would be great and less teens as they would move on to other disney drama.

At least focus would be on her work, events and magazine appearances because of her style and she can get the privacy she craves. I don’t mind getting infrequent blogs as long as she gets her privacy. Her fansites and VABN will definitely keep us all up to date.

Go-Sox, He is a young man and am glad you’re enjoying his being home. Absence is what it is, makes you appreciate them better and vice versa and helps improve the relationship.

Aw, beverley, I know how you must have felt. I recently had a scare too. My gynae did an ultrasound on me and found something in one of my kidneys and referred me to the hosp. for another scan plus bone density and mammogram. Everything was fine except something the radiologist calls it a water bag or cyst and said it was quite common. Well, my sis is undergoing radiotherapy and a friend just completed her chemo. So nothing like a good HSM3 movie to pick me up. Life goes on. I have to wait till next week to buy my tickets. Probably won’t go for the premiere but a few days later. Can’t stand the Crowd.

“an observer” what pictures have you been observing? the latest airport pics of them they were side to side, arm in arm. they only got apart when they were about to go inside the car.

clearly people are trying to point out faults when there is none. sheeesh

I feel the same way. I used to be such a huge Zanessa fan. But lately, my main concern is Vanessa, and whether she’s getting the short end of the stick. Since they were found out, Vanessa has been taking the back seat to Zac and his career. She’s overshadowed by him and Vanessa has so much to offer, she shouldn’t settle on being the girl who’s role is to simply stand behind the guy, smile and look pretty.

But their priorities are so different. Zac’s is obviously his career first. You can tell, whenever he gives an excuse as to why he doesn’t want to talk about his relationship, usually it’s about how it will affect him or his career. How HE doesn’t want to be known for just his private life. How HE doesn’t want to be that “kind of celebrity”. Her priorities seem more equally distributed between family, friends, career and Zac.

What’s worse than Zac not talking about his relationship though, is him talking about it. He winds up saying stuff like “commitment’s too big a word for me” (so then what have you been doing in a relationship for 3 years?) or “I’m wearing this ring for a friend” (as if Vanessa physically forced him to put the ring on his finger).

And of course that sets off all types of reactions, most of them about how Vanessa’s a *****/****/tramp/siren for keeping Zac trapped in a “dead end relationship”, a relationship he’s “obviously not happy in”, when he “really wants to be with [insert name of female costar here]“. I don’t think it’s fair for people to point fingers at Vanessa for Zac’s behavior. I’m usually the type of person who supports the underdog, the person who’s kind of one step behind. Vanessa’s the underdog in this relationship…but she doesn’t have to be.

Reality is that people credit Zac with a maturity he has not attained yet. While i think he is still a decent guy and genuinely cares about Vanessa, he is just like any other guy in hollywood, me and my career first, then the woman. That’s normal with guys.

His father even said in a magazine when hsm first came out that Zac can be ruthless when he wants something.

He just got really lucky with Vanessa. She is the reason the relationship works because she balances out his not so desirable qualities and remains who she is irrespective of fame and public opinion. She is the one that is unique in the mature way she is handling a public relationship and a career at a young age and with the odds she’s facing.

There are worse things than being career focused. No guy is perfect, any woman in a relationship has to bear with one thing or the other. If she feels that his other good qualities which she is in a better position to know outweighs his public attitude then we should leave them to it.

One thing I know is that Vanessa is glowing and happy which tells me that she is happy with her life and relationship. I respect her enough to assume that if she’s unhappy in a relationship, she’ll walk out of it. She would have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

To be fair to Zac, as long as he shuts his mouth in interviews. I don’t see the difference between him and Brad or Will or Hayden or Tom Cruise with their various partners even when posing on the red carpet. It’s a guy thing.

In fact, Denzel, Will and Tom’s wives careers had had to take the back seat to theirs. It’s the women that are stronger and keep the relationships together. Zac and Vanessa are still young and facing the same things. Vanessa is showing more maturity and composure but then girls usually are more mature at this stage.
