OlderVanessa Hudgens To Visit The Philippines
Vanessa Hudgens (in Calvin Klein) stands by her man and costar Zac Efron at the premiere of High School Musical 3: Senior Year at the Galen Center at the University Of Southern California on Thursday in Los Angeles.
19-year-old Vanessa, who finished off her look with Jimmy Choo “Premier” printed canvas platforms, was recently asked what she’s looking forward to when she finally gets to visit the Philippines. She answered, “I had an offer to actually go to the Philippines and do a show there, which unfortunately didn’t materialize. Hopefully, I will be able to do that sometime in the near future. My mom still hasn’t been back and it would just be nice to take her along, explore, hang out and see the world she grew up in. I can’t wait to go!”

Hi there ,V-Loyalist. If Vanessa and Zac can make it to the philippines, why not Singapore and Malaysia, we’re only a few hrs away. They will be treated like royalty here in Asia, I’m sure.
I still think Vanessa’s dress is a nice change from the glamourous, strappy/strapless dresses worn at other redcarpet outings. I think it is so appropriate for a Disney High School affair, not over the top but eyecatching enough. She certainly looks extraliciously sweet in this dress. Ashley’s outfit is befitting some one who is more mature and that is what she is, mature. Anyway, she is looking good here, too.

y do all girls blow those kisses, Marilyn Monroe and Lindsay Lohan are the only ones who seem to pull it off. i like her dress that’s pretty much it.

#61 — that’s good and well that she’s Filipino. I am, too, and I can appreciate that she is shedding light on the many talents of Filipino people through the success of High School Musical. But if she’s going to claim her “Filipino-ness” and say that she’s planning to go to the Philippines to see her mother’s roots… well, then I hope she does it with the best intentions. The Philippines is a third-world country full of people who could use the help of someone that has a modicum of influence — like you seem to think Vanessa has. The last thing they need is an artista who is just there for show.

OMG I was there. :] But I didn’t get her autograph or Zac/Monique,Olyssa, or Corbin’s. >.< Lucuus wasn’t even there man!! But I did get to see other disney stars! I got to see some of the Camp Rock cast including Alyson Stoner she was a sweetie and the English twins from the suite life! Adorable girls. Thanks Jared, I was one of the sweepstakes winners and if it wasn’t for you for posting it up and letting us know about it, i would have never gotten to experience this once in a lifetime event. thanks so much!

Hope your well and I know what you mean even though you know they have to grow up and will branch out on their own there always your babies to some degree and she is my first born so there as always been a special bond betwen us, I have two son’s and don’t get me wrong I love them to death also but I always think there is a special kind of connection with a mother and daughter, not all the time I know
some mother’s and daughter’s who don’t get on so I think if you do and you enjoy going places together and let them know that no matter what you’ll always be there for them then that goes a long way as to how strong your connection is with your children and not just daughter’s. My oldest son is 16 and he stil comes and gives me a hug out of the blue and as my mate said you don’t see many 16 year old boys do that with their mom’s, so I do cherish the time I have with the kids as before Iknow it they’ll be off.
For Katie’s 21st I’m planning to take her to New York as she has always wanted to see the Statue of Liberty and since seeing Zac i HS wans to go and see that show on Broadway so after xmas I’ve got to start saving for it. She also wants to be a Drama Teacher so in al the trip will berealy good for her.
Sorry about the ramble but it was just that Vanessa sems really close to her mom and I just think it’s nice to have that conection so if she wants to take her with her on a trip that would be great, ase ven though she nowtravels on her own more and has jus brought her house she know’s that she will always have the support of her parents just like Zac does and that’s nice for both of them.

Actually, next month Rihanna and Chris Brown are having a concert. Ne-yo had one, Daughtry, Avril Lavigne, Maroon 5 even Beyonce and Alicia Keys. and a whole lot more. Even if our (yours and mine) country is a third-world county, we still do enjoy having artists around for a show. We still do know how to appreciate and enjoy artists and have fun.
And think there’s nothing wrong if her main purpose is do a show and explore when she has time. It’s her own.

Rosielee9, know the feeling all too well, unfortunately my girl is my one and only. Even though tempers have flown and quite a bit, there were moments when it was pure joy to be with her. It somehow outweighs the rest. I’ve always travelled with her and it was difficult letting her go. You are lucky your son is overtly affectionate. I really find it adorable when a young man gives his mom a peck or a hug for no reason, perhaps for just being his mom.
