Vanessa Hudgens (in Calvin Klein) stands by her man and costar Zac Efron at the premiere of High School Musical 3: Senior Year at the Galen Center at the University Of Southern California on Thursday in Los Angeles.
19-year-old Vanessa, who finished off her look with Jimmy Choo “Premier” printed canvas platforms, was recently asked what she’s looking forward to when she finally gets to visit the Philippines. She answered, “I had an offer to actually go to the Philippines and do a show there, which unfortunately didn’t materialize. Hopefully, I will be able to do that sometime in the near future. My mom still hasn’t been back and it would just be nice to take her along, explore, hang out and see the world she grew up in. I can’t wait to go!”

THe PI , or should I say Manila, is a very sad place. Not only is it filled with poverty like you have never seen (it’s not like the begging in tiajuana…) The PI has true poverty. Whats even more sad is those rich ones( and the rich are very rich. billions of US dollars…) think they shoud spend their days shopping in the malls. The PI has little apprieciation for the arts, architecture, scince, enviroment… There is little respect for nature. It’s about keeping up with the Jones exagerated. Ask someone thats been there. It’s all about chuches and malls…;.

What’s wrong ? Vanessa has every right to visit philippines if she wants to, it is afterall her mother’s homeland. It would be great if her whole family went there for a visit, Zac included.

Can the so called Philippine experts like lemibe (#125) stop referring to the Philippines as the P.I.
That’s the term for the Philippines pre-independence, over 50 years ago. It was called the Philippine Islands when it was a colony of the United States. It became a republic in 1946. It’s the Republic of the Philippines now. If you want to use initials, refer to it as R.P., and not P.I.

if you read that interview with zac that the philippine news agency did, zac says that one of his dad’s friends is someone in an official capacity in the philippines. and his dad has been there many times over the years.
