Zachary Quinto Looks Spock-tacular
Check out this new Star Trek promo of Zachary Quinto as Spock, complete with the infamous pointy Vulcan ears. Below is an early look at the new crew of the Enterprise from the summer 2009 J.J. Abrams franchise reboot. Chris Pine as James T. Kirk, Eric Bana as Romulan villain Nero, Karl Urban as McCoy and John Cho as Sulu.
Here’s a snippet from Entertainment Weekly’s cover story:
Is the world ready again for Trek’s optimistic vision of the future? Some involved with the film suspect the presidential election may have a dramatic effect on how Star Trek will be perceived. “This is a franchise that offers hope for unity—and so does Barack Obama,” says Zachary Quinto, who plays Spock. “When this movie comes out, and Obama is president, hopefully there will be some parallels.”

I’ve never seen Star Trek before, but the movie seems pretty cool :)
coool
He looks downright unhuman!!!
http://mylifeiscrap.com
looks like a cast from a gay porno
Eric Bana is spectacular as Nero.
Captain Kirk looks like Dextor
Cool!!!
I even like Eric Bana in this scary version:)
Hot!!!
awww Zachary Quinto is also for Obama (:
hes so cute in his own way.
Most of the actors are for Obama. I’m not American, but I am for Obama as well.
Like the rest of Heroes cast, Zachary is one of the worst actors ever.
i find his nose incredibly irritating
Eric looks perfect as the badass Nero!
Is that a prosthetic schnozz he’s wearing?
For Xenu’s sake, can’t we have our Hollywood gossip without some celebrity kissing Obama’s butt for once?? I am going to be so glad when the election is over, so everyone can just shut the eff up!
I agree that Bana looks good but he looks nothing like a Romulan. I realize this is when Klingons won’t look like they did during TNG time too, but still. To say he’s a Romulan is like… no. He and Spock should look more similar. But… whatever. Romulan.
I really like the casting they have chosen. Especially Bana and Quinto.
I absolutely ADORE Karl Urban. Can’t wait to see this movie.
I am so sick of B-grade actors moaning on about Obama. I’m voting for McCain because of it.
Bravo, to whoever picked this STELLAR CAST! Each actor looks so close to the original Star Trek cast members. Karl Urban actually looks like the late Deforrest Kelley and Zachary Quinto looks just like Leonard Nimoy it’s frightening! They’re all dead ringers!
Thanks Jared!!! I wish all the photos (esp. the chris pine promo) in the gallery were as big as the first promo of Quinto as Spock. I’m so psyched for this movie!
@19
How old are you? Regarding to your comment, not older than 5.
Ppl. like you shouldn´t be allowed to vote!
And btw, Zach looks great as Spock and he´s a really good actor!
Oh Yeah - Karl Urban!!!!!!!!
That nose is incorrect.
Of all of this film, Zachary Quinto as Spock looks like the most promising element so far…
If anyone wants to watch the original series of star trek its available for streaming at CBS.com
Zachary Quinto is superb as Spock! I’m 54 years old and am in love again….with the Quinto Spock! His acting is superb and impeccable…..HE IS SPOCK! He should win the Oscar for this role…..unmistakeably, undeniably Spock.
I’ve just seen the movie and it’s absolutely fanfastic. Despite what some people said in short comment about the flaws, I think the actors had given the most promising contribution ever. The effects are so wonderful, and the story is touching as well. Entirely a different level of Star Trek.
Everyone in the movie is so amazing: Zachary Quinto as the most intriguing Spock, Chris Pine as the wonderful Captain Kirk, and Eric Bana as the amazing villain Nero. Even the rest of the characters are so wonderfully fit into the movie.
I’m definitely looking forward when it’s legally released in theatre and DVD in my beloved country, Indonesia.
